TS3297 I've updated my bank details on my account and now each time I try to buy something it says to verify my details. I enter these and then it says I cannot connect to the iTunes Store and to try again later. Please help!
I've tried most things that forums have suggested and none work. I've downloaded the latest software.
If that's so then how are Apple expecting me to fix a payment problem if they can't tell me what the problem is :/
They are telling you what the problem is; your payment method has been declined. They will not tell you specifically what apps you still owe for, but that's rather irrelevant.
If I went to my bank would thy be able to tell me what's wrong or will I need to contact Apple?
It depends on what the problem is. First, make sure that you're using one of the accepted cards. If you're sure you are, then I again would suggest you contact your credit card company, tell them that an on-line merchant is declining your card, and ask for assistance. If the credit card company can't or won't help, you can try contacting the iTunes Store, but my guess is that they'll tell you the same thing I'm telling you; contact your credit card company or try a different card. Rented or purchased video are watched through the videos app after you have downloaded them, iTunes on iOS devices is for buying media only.

hopefully they can help. You may also be interested to know that for some reason it is just not available to a lot of people at the same time. Appears to be an issue of more users than their servers can handle. Has happened periodically for at least 6 months that I know of but apparently users are able to use within several days if there are no other issues with the users device. -
My apps will no longer update as the page will not load, I really don't understand why this is as the rest of the app store works perfectly.

Are you putting in the address where the bank sends the monthly statement?
Apple's servers are very picky about the format of the address. If you live in the USA, then the server is expecting the style that the US Postal Service uses. One way to do this is to use the USPS ZIP Code lookup service;

Enter the address to look up the ZIP code and then copy the exact USPS output into your iTunes account information. -
I can't get any updates or download any new apps from iTunes because I "cannot connect to the iTunes Store" or sometimes it says server. I have no trouble getting my email or surfing the Internet, so it is a problem specific to accessing iTunes. Incredibly frustrated! Please help!
Saw this on another post.
Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it! It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

Cannot connect to the itunes store following update of itunes
Have just updated my itunes on my Windows 7 (64 bit) computer. Now I cannot connect to the itunes store. Have checked firewall settings, all OK. My daughters computer (also windows 7 64 bit) is still working OK, but HAS NOT got the latest version of itunes updated. Have other people had this problem with the latest update? There are no error messages. Just hangs there for a while then apple logo appears at the top with a blank screen. The black tool bar is also devoid of options.
Has anyone managed to work out why and how to fix this?I had to use an additional command:
netsh winsock reset catalog
[hit enter]
netsh int ip reset reset.log
[hit enter]
Reboot.
My iTunes can now connect to the store. Hope that helps someone. -
"Cannot connect to the iTunes Store" when using WiFi and Cisco VPN

I'm on iPhone software 2.0 and have a connection to the internet via WiFi and VPN (using the integrated Cisco client). Everything works fine (Safari, Mail, mobileme push of contacts and calendars) but the iTunes Store and the App Store won't. While the App Store keeps spinning the iTunes Store says "Cannot connect to the iTunes Store". Has anyone else experienced a similar phenomenon?

Message was edited by: samakiWe're having the same issue. App Store and iTunes do not work when all traffic is tunneled over VPN. Yet, other applications like Safari, New York Times reader, Telnet, etc... work perfectly fine over VPN. If we have the iPhone switch over to using split tunneling VPN mode, then the App Store and iTunes work since they do not appear to be sending traffic over the VPN tunnel. I can say for certain that no outgoing traffic is being blocked on the VPN servers since I administer those servers. I also did a packet capture on the iPhone wireless session and it appears that the App Store sends traffic over the regular HTTP port. So it really doesn't make any sense from a VPN perspective why Safari would work but not the App Store or iTunes when you're tunneling all traffic over VPN. Our iPhones are using the latest firmware (5F136). If anyone has any update, please do share.

TS3297 Cannot connect to the itunes store.
I get "unknown error occurred (0x80092013). Tried firewall and proxy settings, nothing is working. This is frustrating. None of the troubleshooting is working for me...All I want to do is connect to the Itunes store from my desktop. Also, I can connect to the store on the other desktops and ipads in the house, just not this computer. And last but not least, is it possible to "manually manage songs" for your Iphone with multiple computers?

Thanks.I'm having the same problem. iOS, Network & iTunes are up to date and working fine. But the Apps update just says "Cannot connect to the iTunes Store". I've tried everything I can think of, but still no go. I've not done iPhone support before. How do we get Apple to address the problem?

My iPad works perfectly except when trying to update apps. Then I get a message that says "Cannot connect to the iTunes store."
Try logging out of your account on the iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if it then works.
If that doesn't solve it then what has worked for some people is going into Settings > General > Date & Time and change the date to a few months in the future and then re-trying -
I get a message that my ipad 2 and iphone 5 cannot connect to the itunes store when I try to sync a book to my book app. Although, when I click "store" both are able to access the itunes store. Why is this? Also I tried to open a book that was synced and a message that I did not have enough memory to load this book popped up--when I know that I have well over 40gb of memory left in my ipad and over 16gb left in my iphone. The message that I cannot connect to the itunes store is strange that it offers no option and I have to hit OK to get out and use my ipad or iphone.

1) SignOut from Your apple itunes account
2) Again Sign In Your iTunes Account
And you can turn off your wifi/internet from your iphone and again turn it on
