TS3297 music file won't download due to corrupt file

Hello!
I purchased a song at the iTunes store yesterday and after multiple tries it still won't download correctly and the error message I see says the file is corrupt and to try again later - but still no success
Anyone experience this before?  Any suggestions?

Have you actually checked your Movies folder ( Users > YourUserName > Movies ) just in case there are backups in there? Worth a try.
What happens if you launch the app with the external media drive disconnected - if it happens to be a corrupt media file, the app should launch fine with no media connected.
If it doesn't I suggest you fully delete FCP X and reinstall it - if you're able to do that.

    I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
    Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
    Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the entry, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.
    (Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.)

  • Exe file won't download when trying to install firefox

    I'm trying to install firefox on a windows 7 laptop and the .exe file won't download. Whenever I click the link it says: failed - network error. I've tried rebooting and downloading form other sites and get similar issues. Any ideas on what's causing this?

    The full setup. The exe file did work at times yesterday but as I said above it kept saying the download was interrupted after it had been downloading for about 20 minutes. I tried again today and the exe file won't open or download again.

    I noticed a certain file is "stuck" in the Download Manager. The file download appears to be Paused and all attempts to remove / clear / resume have not worked. The file is a .flv type. The mouse-over info does show the url address and it shows 40MB /40MB complete. Help anyone ?

    I am tring to make a download program. I am tring to download an exe file from internet. Lets say the file in this website

    The part that helps me downloading is here, which is encapsulated with a "while" statement at an upper layer. So that code is a loop

It doesn't see that end of file is reached. And when download ends, the exe that I made is not working. By the way since this is my homework I am restricted to use many java classes like starts with http or url, so you don't need to suggest them. Here is my debug results for my integer read in the code: 1024 1024 1024 ....................... 512 0 0 0 0 0 ......, So till the end of the file it continues as 1024 which is my default buffer size, and at the end it continues as 0.

  • ITunes Match displays all my music but won't download or play

    I have just upgraded to Yosemite, doing a clean install.  There are 2 user profiles - mine and my partner's.  My partner's music appears to be playing fine.  I have iTunes Match.  I created my user account yesterday, logging in with my one & only Apple ID.  I have turned iTunes Match on and it is displaying all of my music, playlists, movies and TV shows (all with the little cloud icon).  However nothing is playing or downloading.  Whenever I click to either download or stream a song I get a message telling me "This computer is already associated with an Apple ID" and telling me to wait 90 days.  Surely this is not referring to my partner's user account on the same iMac?  Otherwise what would be the point of having separate user accounts on a desktop?  All my music is correctly stored in iTunes Match - now I want to listen to it.  What has gone wrong here please?  And yes, my user account has only 1 Apple ID and has been logged in with that since inception.

    Apple have done something really screwy with Apple IDs on Yosemite. They've decided to associate an Apple ID with the device in its entirety, instead of with each user account.
    I have two logins, one for my own personal account and one for a radio show I produce. The personal account has iTunes Match but the radio show accountt is just normal iTunes with iTunes In The Cloud. When I want to download music for the radio show, I switch to that account. I needed to download some of the music for that account and was warned that if I change accounts on this device I won't be able to again for another 90 days. I had no choice because I needed those files. But now when I go back to my personal login, I can no longer download any of my music from iTunes Match.
    Fortunately, I have another device associated with my personal iTunes account and can download some of my music there instead.
    This really needs to be sorted out!

  • File won't import due to 'Too many audio channels'

    I've managered to import one 30 minute video recorded off a screen recording program off the AppStore called ScreenRecordStd. This software has an 'include computer audio' button which I activated after the first 30 minute video.
    Once trying to import any videos with this selection activated they won't import, telling me there are too many audio channels.. so I know it is due to this selection. The file information tells me I have two AAC 44100 Hz Stereo files as part of the video, when I change it to mp4 or h264 file formats it does import but the video/audio are not in sync when played through on Premiere Pro but are totally fine in QuickTime player.. also the second audio channel is a lot quieter when being played through on Premiere Pro than in QuickTime.
    So, I hoping someone has came across this software or this problem and can help me. So I have two 44100 Hz stereo files within the video and the selection I am using says it can take up to three stereo files, so why is it telling me it can't import because there's too many audio channels??? I've tried changing the video to h.264, mp4 and they just struggle with the video being too slow and avi. just has the same issues as .mov.

    Why do you convert the media to start with? Are you aware of that you are converting the camera's MPEG2 to the MPEG2 you get when creating the new MXF file? (XDCAM HD = MPEG2)
    I would never ever re-compress/convert the already-in-camera-compressed MPEG2 to compressed MPEG2 for editing and then having it to end up in let's say either MPEG2-DVD or H.264. You loose one generation and i would not want to lose it by re-encoding to MPEG2 since, imo, re-encodong MPEG2 to MPEG2 should be avoided. (MPEG2 to MPEG2 = The quality is degraded too much) If you still want to re-encode the footage i would use another codec, DNxHD/CineForm/Lagarith. (Pick your favorite)
    You can use the MXF files from Canon XF Utility in CS6. (The files MXF are just copied from the original folder structure, so no re-encoding is done.)
    AFAIK, the problems with tearing video go away by using the MXF files you get from XF Utility. If the tearing is still present, close Pr and delete all Cache files. Open Pr and let the Generating Peak file finish.
    AFAIK 8 audio channels are standard in MXF OP1a according to SMPTE D10.

    The loading of the program got to 39% seven times. Then it demanded I close it and restart it, which I did. The last time I gave up. I want to be able to edit Adobe files, but I guess I'm going to have to do without your help. You better pull back my charges. American Express is on my side, not yours.

Please make sure that you're logged in as an admin, and temporarily disable any anti-virus software. Then, try to download from this page: Download Acrobat products | Standard, Pro | XI, X.   • Large .pdf file won't download

    Hello:
    I have searched the messages relating to downloads and timeouts, and have not found an answer to my problem, so here goes! I am attempting to download a very large (19 MB) .pdf, and the process seems to be timing-out about 1/3 of the way through. (I have been able to download this file onto a Windows-based computer, and it took an hour!) I do not get any timeout messages -- the download window just stops showing any progress, the blue line disappears altogether and the Resume button does not appear. If I click the Reload Page button, the download starts over from the beginning and then stops again after about 15 minutes. My iMac is connected to a DSL line via a router -- the PC is directly connected to the DSL line. I have zipped the .pdf (all the way down to 13 MB - zowie!) and tried e-mailing myself the file from the PC -- and Outlook Express times out after 5 minutes (the longest setting available there). >8-[
    Anyway -- is there some way I can keep the download process going long enough to acquire the file on the iMac? Thanks in advance for your help on this -- it's very frustrating!

  • ITunes upgrade won't download due to 'invalid signature'

    I have a 2nd Generation iPod Touch which will not download any iTunes software upgrades when prompted to do so.  The first error message advised me to go to Tools, then Download Only (which I did).  The next error message said that iTunes has an invalid signature.
    There is a very useful health related app I want to use but my software needs to be upgraded first.  Can anyone help me please?

  • Files won't download properly

    Lately I've been having trouble installing a few applications. Some don't do anything when I trying opening them and other just say "There is no default application selected to open the document". I tried setting this- /Applications/Utilities/Installer.app as the default to open them, but the installer application was missing. Then I installed Pacifist to re-install the Installer and this message came up- "Pacifist was unable to open the file Installer.app. Please make sure this is a file type that Pacifist understands."
    Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

    The Installer application is located inside one of the pkg items on the Mac OS X installation disks or updaters; you may also be able to find it by browsing the installation disk in the Finder. The Installer cannot be opened by Pacifist directly.

  • Ipod self-erased all music and won't download it again from itunes!!!!

    Help! I was updating my ipod with some new songs, and it came up saying that I had exceeded my limit (even though I hadn't) and that ipod was going to make a folder of all my music and call it "harriet's ipod". All well & good- clicked Ok. Then I realised that it hadn't stored any playlists or ordered albums etc so I deleted the "harriet's ipod" folder/playlist from itunes and now my ipod is blank!!! And it now doesn't let me update any songs AT all as it says that there are no playlists, even though there are on itunes... please help!!!
