My in app purchase didn't work and i didn't get my uberstrike credits. I still got subtracted though. does anyone know a solution to this problem? it happens a lot.
Just contact itunes store support and let them know what happened. They will refund the in-app charges for the items you did not receive and may give you a link to conatct the developers as well.

Correct. When you update via iTunes all synced media that is not in your iTunes library will be lost.

The app may have been free to download, but quite a few then allow in-app purchases to be made within them e.g to unlock features and/or levels. You can also turn off in-app purchases on your iPad via Settings > General > Restrictions > In-App Purchases 'off', and depdending upon what version of iOS that you have on it you may also have a Require Password setting onthe Restrictions screen which you can set to 'Immediately' (the default is a 15 minute period during which it doesn't need to be re-entered). -

If you already created an Apple ID, you have to enter a credit card in order to use that ID now. If you don't have a credit card at all, you will have to create a new Apple ID to use without a credit card and you will need to have another email address in order to do this.
First you will have to sign out of your current ID in Settings> iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. You can tap the ID and tap Sign Out. Now you can proceed with creating a new Apple ID according to the instructions in here.

You are saying that you don't have a credit card, but if you had one, you could enter the credit card in order to use the ID that you already created, but you never have to use it. You can use gift cards or just download free content. But unless you create the ID as outlined above, you must enter payment details. -

My in app purchase for Brothers in Arms 2 didn't load but I was charged for it. Clicking "report a problem" brings me to the support home page rather than allowing me to send a report of the issue. How can I get my $9.99 back? Thanks for any help you can provide.
I did that. Clicking "report a problem" doesn't bring me to the screens shown on your link; it opens the Apple Support website. That's how i got here to ask the question.

I have downloaded OS Mountain Lion which was successful but going inot apps it still appears as requiring downloading but when I press to do this i am informed that download has been completed and so to cancel. How or why does this icon remain in the apps purchases and how should i get rid of it?
It stays in your purchased apps list because you bought it from the MAS. The most likely reason it offers to be "downloaded" (it's not that it needs to be downloaded, it is that is can be downloaded) is because you installed the OS X upgrade, which deletes the installer from the HDD. This is normal behavior.
