Hi everyone! I tried to install the new iOs 7 on my iphone 4, but it wasn't completed (showing error 4005). Now, my iphone is stuck on the itunes' logo with the usb cord, and I can't use my phone. And itunes doesn't detect my iphone when I connect it on my computer, so I can't put it in recovery mode or someting like that... What can I do?? I tried everything they tell me to do in the apple support but nothing seems to work. Thank you!
No problem, glad to help!
Update: my PC USB hub was connected to a USB 3 port, I connected the 30 pin cable directly to my PC, And the restore worked just fine. Restored phone from iCloud backup and seems to be working fine. -

My iphone screen is frozen showing the iTunes logo and a disconnected cable; nothing works?
That is telling you that you need to connect it to iTunes. (iTunes will probably tell you that it needs to be restored when you do.)

My I phone is frozen and I can't get it to work. I have tried to restore it several times and nothing happens. All it does is show the iTunes logo with the plug and arrow. Is there anything I can do to get it to work I am in sales and need my phone. The closest Apple store is 45 minutes away
and I have appointments all day tomorrow.
Thanks in advance.
MaryTry to force your phone into recovery mode. Disconnect it from the computer's USB cord. Turn it off if you can by holding the sleep/wake switch until you see the red slide to off. If you can't turn it off, please continue. Press and hold the home button while plugging it into the computer's USB cord. Continue holding the Home button while iPhone starts up. While starting up, you will see the Apple logo. When you see "Connect to iTunes" on the screen, you can release the Home button and iTunes will display the recovery mode message. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808
Then you can restore your phone: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414 -
My new ipad is stuck with the itunes logo on it
My Mother got a new ipad2 for christmas. was getting it started for her and it is now stuck on the itunes screen with logo and a cord.
That indicates that it's gone into recovery mode : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808
You will need to connect it to your computer's iTunes and you should then be able to reset the iPad and restore/resync your content to it -
I was instructed by I Tunes to restore my Iphone 4 - ITunes has since said it is unable to restore. I am now left with a black screen with Itunes logo on it and a picture of the charger attachment at the base of the screen and I am unable to do anything now with the device. I think I may have lost all of my information on the device too ~ can anyone help please?
You have lost all your data, but hopefully you were backing it up with iCloud or iTunes. You can try this:
Turn your phone off and connect your cable to the computer, but not the device just yet. Start up iTunes. Now, hold down the home button on your phone and plug it in to the cable - don't let go of the button until iTunes tells you it's detected a phone in recovery mode. Now you can restore to factory settings. -
Please post options available
Hello Eainere,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like the phone is in recovery mode, and is not recognized in iTunes when you have it plugged in.
The steps to take next will depend on what Operating system you have installed on your computer.
For Mac OS:
iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Mac OS X
http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1591
For Windows OS:
iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows

All the best,

I need help my Ipod is stuck and I cant do anything at all. my screen shows the I tunes symbol with an arrow under it then under that is the chanrger. I have tried everything and it does notthing. Can someone please help.
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
Apple Retail Store - Genius Bar
For the future saying " I have tried everything " provides zero information as to what you tried. -

I was trying to get the new iOS update, and the iPad froze. I've seen others who have the same problem, but they had the iCloud and things like that. I have a few stories on there, and I'm not about ready to lose them, as I was stupid enough to not transfer them to my computer or anywhere else.
I went onto iTunes, hoping it would do that "restore iPad" thing, but so far, nope. I think it'd be fair to also inform that my iPad has been that was for three days, and I'm at a loss at what else to do. Can someone please, please help? Lord knows I need it...recovery mode
open itunes on computer
plug cable into computer not phone
turn phone off
hold home button and plug cable into phone. do not release home button until an itunes graphic appears on device.
look to computer shold have message about recovery mode click ok and restore
Peace, Clyde

My iphone is stuck with the iTunes logo, an arrow and powercord on the display. It will not power down or allow me to do anything. I updated to the most recent OS version this morning after my battery drained overnight (it was fully charged yesterday afternoon) and this was the result. I also have downloaded the latest version of iTunes on my laptop ...
My 2-year old iPhone 4s running iOS7 suddenly started doing the same thing (randomly going into Recovery Mode) almost every morning for the last week or so. It recovers OK (albeit back to factory presets), but I'd sure like to know what's going on. Any info?

Stuck with the apple logo screen
So my iPhone is stuck with the apple logo. I've restarted my iPhone several times and reinstalled itunes. It just stays with the apple logo and when I plug it into itunes it freezes itunes. I can't restore my iPhone, because it's not coming up in iTunes. It's been stuck at the screen with the apple logo for more then an hour. I can reset, but it never finishes loading.
I'm hours away from an ATT or apple store. This problem happened to me. You have a "bricked" phone. The problem was addressed in the thread "Bricked iphone after the 10th sync". Sorry I don't know how to link to it, but it's in this forum, just another topic. I was able to resolve my problem following the fix given by "jsanders74". Good luck.
