Try closing the App Store app via the taskbar and see if it works properly when you re-open the app : from the home screen (i.e. not with the App Store app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the App Store app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work also do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
For future info, typing all in capitals is considered shouting, and may mean that people don't reply to your posts.

    You would need to sync with iTunes to get that process to work for you. Check out the article below for more information on how to resolve that issue to get the proper token to use Push Notifications again.

  • After updating to ios7 the apple newsstand is frozen with the esquire magazine offer and it will not close to look at anything else.

    After updating to the IOS7 does anyone else have the problem of a magazine selection offer in the iPad newsstand freezing on the screen so you can't move it and look at others for purchase? The magazine cover is just frozen on screen and I can't get it to change so I can scroll through other magazines. I didn't have this problem until I upgraded to IOS7.

    I never said to look at the bottom of the screen for the open apps. It is different in iOS 7. When you double tap the home button, you should see the apps lining up across the screen like you see in this screen shot. Swipe UP. On the mini screen of the open app. Don't swipe up on the app icon, swipe up on the mini screen of the open app. When you swipe up on that, it closes the app.

    Hey guys, so when i first got my ipod i didnt have an apple ID so i borrowed my brothers. Later on i got my own apple ID so i logged his out and logged onto mine. (I already know that you can log apple ID's out at the very bottom of the APP STORE page.) However when i go into my updates tab it is still logged into my brothers apple ID. Is there anyway i can log his out? Because at the bottom of the APPSTORE page it already shows my account is logged in, but i cannot download, or update apps because whenever i click on an item to update or buy it pops up my brothers apple ID to use, not mine. Thanks!

    To update apps that were purchased with your brother's account you have to sign into your brother's account, or at least enter his password if his ID comes up.  You have to update app one at a time if you have update form more than one account on the iPod.

    With so many people visiting this problem and so many people willing to comment about it Apple needs to fix this problem. I experienced this problem twice until I came to the website and it suggested the folling pressing Menu and the center button at the same time and hold it between 6 to 8 seconds. It works. The problem is that if it happen to me twice in one week it will happen many time. APPLE, FIX YOUR BUGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Mine did the exact same thing! I called apple and went through the whole name and email address thing. push the center and menu button and the same time. When an apple symbol shows up let go of the buttons and then your regular menu should be fine

    I would start your troubleshooting with the article below for issues of not being able to log in to your Mac. Start with booting up in to Safe Boot as well as resetting PRAM on your Mac. If that does not work, then verify the hard drive with booting to the Recover HD and go to Disk Utility to verify it.

    Many thanks for your help in this instance. The command-option-shift-esc and force quit solved the problem for me . Now I can get back to using my computer once more

    If it's not being recognized while it's in recovery mode in your itunes, try this
    plug the phone into the usb attached to the computer
    hold down the home and sleep/wake button on top simultaneously until the phone's screen goes black
    When the screen goes black, release your finger from the sleep/week button on top but continue holding the home button until you see a dialog on the itunes screen on your computer that says 'itunes has detected a device in recovery mode'
    then say 'ok,' select 'restore,' and say 'restore and update'

    I can go to Time Machine and find the document, even read it in Time Machine, but when I try to restore this version I get the same crash. I cannot open with Text or RTF. Preview opens a fuzzy version and can save out as a .PDF, but when I try to convert the .PDF to Word I get a bunch of unusual characters. Any help anyone can give would be greatly appreciated

    OK, I've tried all these tips. Here's what I finally have to do: I open Time Machine. I click on the Pages file and open the Pages file in the Time Machine window. (Restore does not work; nothing works).
    When the Pages file opens, I begin taking screenshots using shift-command-3. I take shots of all 200+ pages of this document. The screenshots are saved to my desktop.
    I then move all 200+ screenshots into one folder, because, face it, that's too many icons to work with on one desktop screen.
    Then I select all the screenshots in the folder at once and open them all in Preview. Then I crop every screenshot using command-K, and save using command-S, and then close that image using command-W.
    When I have cropped all 200+ screenshots, I go back through the folder one by one and adjust the color on each one, moving the mid-range color up to about 75% and the sharpness filter up to about 75%, in order to compensate for the fuzzy image of the screenshot. You can't create a searchable PDF with an image that fuzzy. I do this one by one.
    I make sure everything is saved.
    Then I open all 200+ edited screenshots in Preview and print them out.
    Then I take the 200+ pages of this ****** Pages file and run them through my scanner, making searchable 600 dpi PDFs.
    Then I go to each of the 200+ PDFs and highlight the text, copy, and paste into a NEW word processing document.
    If I'd had 300 pages like the last manuscript, or 700 pages like the one before that, I would have created an Automator program to do all that, but hey, this is not the kind of **** you expect from Apple. Really.  It's taken all week.
    So thanks for your help guys, but no other suggestions worked. I tried to force a download of the file from Dropbox, but got the same result. Besides, my Dropbox folder is saved locally on my harddrive, so it's not their fault. In fact, there is no data in the Dropbox folder under this file name, only preview files. Somehow the Time Machine will open the complete Pages file while in Time Macine, but will not import the saved Time Machine version to the working desktop because it is a preview (i.e., not Preview) image. This is a Pages problem, not a Dropbox problem. Pages did not save the full file.
    If anybody knows a better way to do this, I'd like to know about it. If anybody knows whether I will ever be able to trust Pages again, I'd like to know that too.

    So I got pages, numbers, and keynote for the iPad and I keep all my documents backed up to Dropbox so I was really excited to see that you could save anything created in pages to Dropbox.
    However when I go back and change the document it doesnt update in Dropbox. Is there a way to make this happen?

    If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore.  Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset.  Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync.  From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab.  Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup.  You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.  Again, say "yes."

    I would recommend closing any open applications in multitasking and restarting the device.  If unfamiliar with multitasking, I have included a screenshot on how to process an application close.
