TS3305 YouTube not available.

Why cant i comment more than two times on my youtube app?

Did you check your favourites after getting that message? I get the same message but when I go to my favourites the video shows up. For some reason it thinks it failed when it actually worked for me.

  • 'YouTube not available' error for my abos

    Hi,
I have some abos at youtube. Those are created at my PC. When I start the youtube app and change to my abos there, I get the correct list of all of my abos, but when I try to click on one of them, I just get the 'youtube not available' message.
Like one of twenty abos is working, for the rest I get the error message. On my PC they are working fine.
    Any idea?

    What else can I do?
    Don't use Youtube.
    It is Youtube not iPhone.
Youtube is very buggy (The most famous bug is the inability to post a text comment).
    These work better.

  • "Youtube not available" error on my video

I uploaded a video last night to YouTube. I can access it from the YouTube app on my phone only if I am signed in and go to "My Videos". But if I try to open it using a link to the video, I get a "Youtube not available" error. I've gotten 3 other people with iPhones to try it, with the same result. I made sure the option to play on mobile devices was checked within the video settings. What else can I do? I have no idea why this isn't working.

  • "YouTube Not Available" when I try to sign in?

This just started recently- basically, I try to sign in into YouTube, but it just gives me that dumb message it gives me for other frustrating problems: "YouTube Not Available". Other features work and I'm able to watch videos, etc., but I just can't sign in!

  • YouTube not available when following link

I am tryiing to share a video clip with friends and family and no one else. The video has been uploaded to YouTube from iMovie and is set to the "Unlisted" privacy level. When I email the URL of this video clip, the recipients who have iPads and iPhones cannot view the clip. The URL link in the email will not open in Safari, but instead it automatically launches the built-in YouTube app. This app puts up an error message saying "YouTube Not Avaialble." The video clip works fine when recipients click the email link on their Macs, since it goes straight to Safari, and that works fine.
I tried closing and reopening the YouTube app, rebooting the iPad, etc. and nothing like that works. I can't delete the YouTube app and re-download it since it's a built-in app. I can't go to the developers Web site since it's an Apple app but it is not listed anywhere in Apple's support pages. In fact, I can't find the YouTube app in the App Store at all.
If I open the YouTube app on an iPad and log in to my own account, then I can find and play my video clip without a problem. However, no one can play the video without my account login, even though they have the correct URL for the clip. This defeats the whole purpose of the "Unlisted" privacy setting in YouTube.
How can I get the built-in YouTube app in the iPad and iPhone to play my "Unlisted" video clip with just the URL and not my account and password?

Could you explain "correctly save the "Unlisted" privacy setting on the YouTube site, so no one could follow the email link."? I do not see any settings under General, Advanced, or otherwise that has to do with video links. My understanding was that marking the privacy "Unlisted" meant people with the link to the video could click and view it. However, this is  not the case from iphone/ipad2 even with the Syndication set to "Everywhere." Thanks in advance!!

  • MAC os x can connect to internet but shows Youtube server not available.

I am trying to connect to youtube on safari and firefox as well but I keep getting a message that the youtube serve is not available.  I can hook up to it with my labptop Dell, but my apple will not let me and it has been a month now.

Thanks,  Neville Hillyer. Your advice was helpful, but in os 10.4, mail 2.1.3, and Comcast setup advice online there were some port differences that solved the problem. Thanks to NH I saw the SSL option was not consistent on outgoing versus incoming; saw two different sequences to use mail preferences for setting up incoming versus outgoing; and saw on COMCAST set-up that they like 2 different port numbers. My other newer Macs have not had this problem (yet) which seems strange since I saw port 110 in all my Macs.
    Mail preferences:
a-- accounts Information tab type POP, my userid, mypassword, and on advanced tab incoming port  should be 995, SSL checked, Authentication should be Password
b-- accounts information incoming server mail.comcast.net, my userid and mypassword, outging server smtp.comcast.net:myuserid, server settings port 465, SSL checked.
c-- in this old version mail 2.1.3, there is not save button until I select another account and a pop-up indicates my account changed and offered the save button which I selected. Mail then asked for my account's password; after I entered it, the outgoing test emails went out immediately.
    Mail sending works again.

  • "the video is not available". this message appears every time I try to watch a video on youtube or m.you tube on iPad 2 IOS6

Why do I get the following message whenever I try to watch any video on either youtube or m.youtube?
    "the video is not available"
The video is certainly available as I can watch the identical video on my macbook.
    I have an ipad 2, runnug IOS6

Do you have an example of such a video?
If you went to m.youtube.com did you switch to "Desktop" mode at some point? If so, switch back to "Mobile version" (at bottom of page).

  • Youtube hd videos not available for apple tv

    Hello,
I have Apple TV since Nov/2012 and just realized that Youtube HD videos are not available for Apple TV. I have a playlist in Youtube with lot of HD videos but in Apple TV all HD videos are not displayed. Anybody knows if it is some restrictions (Apple and Google) or is it some configuration that I need to do?
    Thanks
    André

ok, I got it...unfortunately the most of my favorite videos looks like use Flash because they are not available by Apple TV

  • YOUTUBE NOT WORKING ON NEW MACBOOK PRO

YOUTUBE NOT WORKING ON NEW MACBOOK PRO
Every time I want to see videos from youtube the video player just says "your browser does not currently recognize any of the video formats available".
Please help I have everything possible up to date.
    Thanks!

It appears as if only some videos on YouTube will play using HTML5 and without Flash. For example, this video plays just fine for me and I do not have flash installed: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fxEWddT44BY
So, unfortunately, you will have to install flash or wait for YouTube to fix their website.
Also, one thing to try: When I had Flash installed and the "ClickToPlugin" Safari extension installed, YouTube would load all the movies in a simple HTML5 format. So no annotations or any other annoying stuff. Might be worth trying. You will have to install flash but, with the "ClickToPlugin" extension, you don't have to use Flash.

  • Help! I get the message "sorry this video is not available on this device"

Help! Whenever I attempt to access videos posted on my subscribed YouTube  sites, on my iPad mini, I get the message "sorry this video is not available on this device", on a black screen.. Strange because they always were available up until yesterday. Old iPad 1 is ok.
I have reset everything. It's annoying because some old vids still play and videos that I'm alerted to on my email will open if I use my old iPad 1.
Any suggestions from anyone on how to fix the problem? Is it an adobe thing? I can't access anything adobe.
    It's all very frustrating.

    This works!!!!
To solve the problem follow the instuction:
    Go to Settings
Go to iTunes & App Stores
    Click on your Apple ID
In poped up window click Sign Out.
Fill your Apple ID and Password and press Sign In
Done. Now you will be able to download applications from App Store
