I rented The Family and Red but it tells me there is a download error. The rental was on my Ipad, and I already paid for it

It sounds like you have 2 movies that you rented and while downloading were met with an error message. I recommend restarting your device first:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on the top of your device until the red slider appears. Then drag the slider to turn your device completely off.
Then try and resume the download again with the following article:
If your download was interrupted using your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
From the Home screen, tap the iTunes app.
For iPhone or iPod touch, tap More > Downloads. For iPad, tap Downloads.
Enter your account name and password if prompted.
Tap the blue download arrow to resume.

It sounds as if your browser and some of your apps are not color-managed. This is pretty typical. Even IE9 is only partially color-managed.
You can expect color-managed and non-color-managed applications to show you different things with the same images. How different will depend upon how different your monitor color profile is from the image's color profile.
For web publication and most general use, experts usually advise saving images with the sRGB profile. If such images, saved through the Save for Web & Devices function, look different to you than you expect, it may be that your input images have previously been saved in another color space.
You should really try to get your head around color-management by reading more on it. It can seem baffling and it's difficult to understand without some background. A quick web search turns up many overviews. Beware, though, even people writing articles sometimes don't fully understand it.

About the only thing you can try is using the Online Internet Recovery system to reinstall Lion on your Mac over the top of the current install. that will reset all system files and should not touch your personal files or the apps you have installed.
Or iof you have a recent Time Machine backup use that to restore your Mac to that point in time.

Error message unable to download item

I Keep getting Error message "unable to download item try again later" on my iPad. I don't know of any item I don't have downloaded. I have the latest iOS 8 installed. On my iTunes purchsed list I have one song with a red square with a white E that I don't know what it means.

I Have the same error message. It all started after I downloaded the U2 album free from iTunes. Seems like I got more than I bargained for! I have done all the ios8 updates, including 8.1, but still getting the message. It makes everything run so slow while my iPad 2 tries in vain to download. Doesn't happen on my work iPad mini where I didn't download the U2 album. So go figure...

Which I get. But clicking on that link you provided does not give you the option of choosing between 32 and 64 bit installers.
Yeah, that was certainly a 32-bit installer file being referred to in the other message, too. (The 64-bit installer file is called iTunes64Setup.exe.)
Just in case it's an issue with your normal browser not working properly with the system-detection equipment on the page (there's a javascript control that checks for operating system specifics, and is supposed to deliver the correct Mac or Windows installers), let's try a different web browser for the download. If you use Firefox instead of IE (or vice versa), do you get offered an iTunes64Setup.exe instead of an iTunesSetup.exe?

There is an error message that appears right when i click to download the movie. It says There is a problem downloading "movie". The disk your attempting to use is full. Please delete some files or empty recycle bin. I emptied recycle bin and is still not letting me download it. Please help.

Error Message When Installing Download Helper 4.8.2 Add-On

I've updated to Firefox 3.6.13. The Add-on tab shows that there are add-on updates to be installed. When I download these flash download updates (Download Helper and Flash Video Downloader) and then try to install them I get an error message saying they can't be installed due to an "error in parsing value" message, "declaration dropped." All other updates are fine.
Any idea what may be the problem?

I bought a refurb iPod and i guess its formated for a mac so it told me to restore it but i get the error message and for some reason when i pluged it in it asked me if i wanted to reformat "removable disc drive G" which i'm sure is the iPod it self. So you are getting Error 23 or not?
That error indicates you have security software that is interfering with the download of the software. Temporarily disable ALL of your antivirus/antispyware software and try again. And you do have to reformat it for a PC but this should happen when you restore it in iTunes.
