Have you checked that the App is compatable with your 2nd Gen iPod and its iOS version...

If you only changed the name of your ID rather than creating a new ID, just go to Settins>iCloud and tap Delete Account then sign back in with the new name. (Deleting the account from your phone does not delete it from iCloud. Your data will be synced back to your phone when you sign back in.)
If you created a new ID, you'll have to go to Settings>iCloud on your phone and turn all data you are syncing with iCloud (contacts, calendars, etc.) to Off. When prompted choose to keep the data on your iPhone. (If you are syncing iWork documents with iCloud, also open your iWork apps and turn off iCloud syncing and choose to keep the documents on your phone.) After everything is turned off, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. Next, set up a new iCloud account using your other ID, then turn syncing for your data (contacts, etc.) back to On. When prompted, choose Merge. This will upload the data to your new account.
You won't lose any photos in your camera roll or photo library. If you have any photos in your photo stream that are over 30 days old that are not in your camera roll or saved on your computer, be sure to save these to the camera roll before deleting the account. To do so, open the photo stream album on your iPhone in the thumbnail view, tap Edit, tap all the photos you need to save to select them, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll. -

Restart in Safe Mode, this will clear some caches. How you do this is when you hear the startup tone hold down the Shift Key until you see the progress bar appear. Let it fully boot, then open System Preferences - Startup Disk and ensure your internal HD is selected and then click Restart to test. If you still don't have luck you should run Apple Hardware Test in Extended Mode, you may need to run the test 2-3 times to report any errors. To run AHT you will need teh ORIGINAL Install Discs that shipped with the computer. Instructions for AHT are in:

Before i was able to use an app then cancel so the app is still not running, so the battery would not drain. Since I downloaded the IOS7 how do I stop the apps from running when I am done with the app.

My Ipad2 suddenly will not print to my hp photosmart 5510 printer. Both are on same network. Both have most current operating systems and updatees. I tried everything and can not get to work. It was fine two days ago and nothing has changed. What can I do to print again?
Have you tried rebooting your router and iPad?

I keep on getting download problems from both app store as well as from icloud.
I have tried to reinstall some programs but they keep on failing to download.
I have this problem for both my ipad 2 as well as my iphone 5. I currently live in italy and have checked whether i have problems with local router but everything checks out.
I have tried both resetting iphone and ipad, restarting them both etc but nothing helps. Do you know whether there are any issues with app store or icloud in the last 4days.
Thanks for any help on the matterIn case anyone is having the same problem, I thought I'd post an update. I realized there was an Apple store on my way home from the trip I was leaving for so I decided to stop in. I waited 20 minutes for the next Genius so I wandered the mall and played with the iPad. No big deal. It took less than ten minutes for the person helping me to confirm there was a problem and swap the iPhone for a new one and send me on my way. I got home, connected it to iTunes and restored from the last backup (after uploading the photos I'd taken since then to my Mobileme account!). No problem whatsoever.
I'm really glad I decided to go that route instead of taking it to Verizon.
It's been two months and I've not had a single problem since.

My iPhone only showed the music held in my account until I subscribed to iTunes Match At that point all her music loaded onto my iPhone
Why? and what do I do to resolve this please?iTunes Match is associated with a specific Apple Id. If you use the same Id to enable iTunes Match on your IOS device you will see the same Songs.
Once iTune Match is enabled on a device (your shared computer for example), Apple cares about not allowing another Apple Id to be associated with that same device for a period of 90 days. Thus having more than one Apple Id associated with a single device to support multiple active iTunes Match subscriptions is simply not supported.
Whilst your music would be combined, you can from a single device associate more than one library with iTunes Match - until you can access separate devices this is perhaps the best compromise. -
My farm was loading just fine, and all of a sudden a few days ago, it has started taking 15-20 minutes to load. If I switch to IE, it works just fine, but I prefer Firefox for all my browsing. I have started in Safe Mode and still have the problem. I have done the troubleshooting tips provided and nothing helps. What can I do?
I followed the directions to create a new profile and delete the old one, but nothing changed. It still takes several minutes for Firefox to open a page.
I thought maybe the fact that I was using Google as my search engine and Chrome was my default browser was the problem, so I let Firefox be my default browser to test it.

Since updating to OS7 the video app doesn't show any titles for movies I have downloaded on my iPad. Anyone have the same problem or a fix?
Many users have solved the problem by syncing several times; and if that doesn't work, perform a simple restore. Your titles will come back.

If you have iTunes 11 on your computer then you can enable the left-hand sidebar on it via option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC - when connected (and if your computer's iTunes is up-to-date) your iPad should then appear on that sidebar under a 'Devices' heading :
If you select the iPad on that sidebar you can then use the Movies tab on the right-hand side of the iTunes screen to select and sync that film to your iPad's Videos app.

If you connect the old iPad to your computer's iTunes and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases do they copy over to your iTunes library so that you can sync them to your new iPad ?

What can I do to improve a blurry Quicktime video that was SMS' texted to me? I think it was taken on an Iphone and it was sent to me as a 1.24MB .mov file and I have Quicktime Pro if that helps. I REALLY need to make this as clear as possible, the audio is good, video is blurry. Here is some additional data:

You can rescale (stretch) the size of the display but this will only make it blurier and/or introduce pixellation. When the file was encoded at a lower resolution much of the original data was thrown away to make the file smaller. This data is gone/missing and cannot be recreated from what is left. What you've got is all you have to work with. Any filters you can apply will require re-compressing the file again which will likely introduce more artifacts and increase the size of the file without really improving its overasll quality.
