TS3367 Can't Facetime because multiple ipods on 1 account?

I have 3 ipod touch devices and an iphone connected to my apple id. My kids want to facetime each other but their device rings once and then says unavailable. Is this because they all have the same apple id since they are under my account?

that is not possible facetime and imessage don't tie with the device it tie with the appleID
imessage and facetime between devices with the same appleID will never work because of that
plus all imessages will be recieved by all devices

Is your question "can one pc have multiple ipods"? If so, then yes. You can sync as many ipods as you like to one comptuer.
Or is your question something to do with the body of your post?

Apps are forever tied to the AppleID used to download them.
You can download the missing apps under your own AppleID;
if they are not free apps, you will have to pay for them.

Help! Using multiple ipods on same account - for education

Hi, I'm a primary school teacher and have just purchased 5 ipods to use with Year 2 students in the classroom. Is there any way of syncing the songs and/or short movies to all 5 ipods? I don't mind paying for these things once but not 5 times each time I need a little video! Please help me...the kiddies are aching to use them!

No problem... you can sync the same data, including purchased media, to multiple iPods. The 5-computer limit applies to the number of computers you can authorise to play your tracks, not the iPods they can be played on.

Multiple iPods on one account

All I want is to see my iPod's song list when I plug in my iPod, instead of seeing my son's song list. But when I plug mine in it says an iPod can only link to one iTunes library at a time, and I have to erase it and reload (sync) this iPod with the existing (my son's) library. How in the eff do I do this?? And more importantly, how in the eff can Apple make it so effing complicated?? This should be on the home page in bold type. Help!

Plug in the iPod and select the iPod.
This will show the music on the iPod.
When I plug my iPod in, it automatically pulls up a different library (from one of the other iPods on my account).
Since the other iPod in not plugged in, iTunes will not display what is on that other iPod.
Is there no place on iTunes that shows each iPod on my account with the song list for each one?
No. The songs are on the iPod.
iTunes does not know what is on the iPod unless the iPod is plugged in.

Plug it in and upload your music.
You don't need to have two separate accounts for iTunes on one computer, me and my 3 roomates all share the same computer and iTunes library. Separating them only causes headaches.
If you really want to though, if your on a windows computer you can create another user for the computer by going to my computer and add a user, then once in the new user download iTunes and upload music. One thing to remember with this however the iPod and iTunes does not support fast user switching (meaning when switching users in windows instead of logging out, just going to switch profile.)

You must have OS X Yosemite on your Mac and iOS 8 on the iPads/iPhones.
After a conventional FaceTime Audio call is made between two parties, additional users can be added to a call in progress.
Please note that Face Time Video calls are not yet possible. I also did not test the describe workflow yet by myself.
On iOS 8 the command to add a user is called "add call" and is marked with a plus(+) in the lower left corner of your facetime overview.
I can not tell you how the command on the Mac will look like.

Trying to use facetime between an Itouch4 and Iphone4 at home. Call goes through but shutsdown immediatly. What are we doing wrong? Can we send and recieve video data through the same wifi connection? Thanks for you imput and help in advance.

Not sure what you are after.
You want to use the same itunes account on each iphone? Sign into the account on each iphone.
