TS3367 decline facetime call button greyed out

My daughter said she got a facetime call from someone she didn't know on her iPod touch. She had to ignore the call as the decline button was greayed out. Is this a bug? Also is there some way to manage privacy on facetime, e.g. only contacts can facetime her?

    Hi there,
I have a problem with the office communicator. I'm able to make a call to one party without any problems. The issue occurs when I add two or more parties into the conversation. The call button will be greyed out and Im unable to make a call.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled the OCS but the problem still persists.
    Appreciate if anybody could help.

    Hi,
I am using Windows XP, the Bluetooth Connection and the latest version of the PC Suite.
I am trying to call my contacts using the PC Suite and my mobile phone the Nokia E50. Although it is capable to do this (according the nokia website) the call button is grey and without function. What can I do to enable this feature!

  • Submit Button Greyed Out (v 4.0.5)

I have been using Compressor successfully for about a year.  Recently it updated to v4.0.5.   Now I am not able to submit, with the final Submit button greyed out.  I have checked my Destination folder permissions and all appear correct.
What could be the cause of this, and what shall I do?  I need to render a program urgently for broadcast.
    Thanks
    Geoff

    I just resolved a similar problem.  I am running OSX 10.6.8 on a MBP 13" 2010.
Once inside Compressor I'd click on "submit" and the drop down window would show "none" next to "Cluster:" and the submit button was greyed out.
I called Apple Care and they had me delete the preference file "com.apple.Compressor.plist" file from my user>library>preferences folder.  This did not fix the problem on its own.
They then had me delete the Apple Qmaster folder from user>library>application support.  This did not fix the problem on it's own.
I then reinstalled the Compressor application itself.  This did not fix the problem on its own.
I then verified permissions and repaired permissions using disk utility.  This did not fix the problem on it's own.
I then clicked on "Share Monitor" which is found on the Compressor task bar.  "This Computer" was displayed in the left column.  I simply clicked on it in order to high light it.  I left the "Share Monitor" window open and went back to the submit panel and "This Computer" was now displayed next to "Cluster:" and the program is now working again.
    YMMV.

  • Agent email help - buttons greyed out at one location

The setup:  Two call centers.  One in NC and one in CA.
The one in NC, which is where the call center servers are, has no issues with email buttons becoming active.
The one in CA, every morning when the agents login the email buttons will not become active unless the users do the following workaround
    Start agent.
Run and IE url that was given to me by Cisco.  http://<ipaddress of ccx server/EemUi/index.jsp?port=59015
This will force Java to start and have the java icon appear in the system tray.
    Email buttons become active
Close IE window (which make email buttons grey out again)
    close and restart agent
    Email buttons work.
I only have this issue in the CA office.
I had them ship a desktop to me in the NC office.  I connected it and did NOT have an issue.  Everything works perfectly here.
Is the issue tied to the distance?  Is there some java time out setting I can tweek to make this work.
I didn't have this problem with 8.5 su 2.... it happened after the update to su 3
Anyone seen this?  Cisco has no answer.

I bounced this around the office to get some ideas.  One question - how long is the CA office waiting for the email buttons to become active?  That is, setting the workaround aside, if they wait long enough, do the Agent E-Mail buttons ever become active?    The thinking is that could be a factor as the entire applet is around 40 MB. If connection speed isn't great it could take a while to download which would explain the scenario.

  • Put, Get , Connection buttons greyed out

    Hi All,
I am pretty new to Dreamweaver but not to web development. I
have set up and connected a few sites from my own PC. It all goes
just like it says in the manuals.
But I got called into a client site who have an existing site
set up in Dreamweaver. The DW person left and the current person
wanted some coaching. Well the Code, Split, Design views all came
up and we could edit just fine.
But over on the right, above the list of files, all the
buttons (put, get, connection etc.) were greyed out. At first I
assumed the FTP connection was not set up, but it was, because when
we saved files, they saved straight to the live site.
So I went over to look at Site / Manage Sites. The FTP
connection was listed, but many of the other options (all the
categories within Advanced) did not seem to be available. They were
not just grayed out - I could not even see the list of them.
I have been fiddling around at home on my own sites, trying
to figure out how to recreate this and I can't. I can figure out
how to put myself onto live updating (update to remote FTP on Save)
but I don't get the other buttons greyed out just because I am
    working like this.
Any ideas? I'd like to be able to go back there, take them
off live updates and restore the buttons.
    Thanks
    Abigail

Unless one is working in ColdFusion, or has special
    requirements, the FTP &
RDS server option should never be used.

Please follow these directions to delete the Mail "sandbox" folders. In OS X 10.9 there are two sandboxes, while in 10.8 there is only one. If you're running a version older than 10.8, this comment isn't applicable.
    Back up all data.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
    ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
              Services ▹ Reveal
from the contextual menu.* A Finder window should open with a folder named "com.apple.mail" selected. If it does, move the selected folder—not just its contents—to the Desktop. Leave the Finder window open for now.
Log out and log back in. Launch Mail and test. If the problem is resolved, you may have to recreate some of your Mail settings. You can then delete the folder you moved and close the Finder window.
This action will delete any custom Mail stationery that you have created. If you want to preserve it, ask for instructions.
If you still have the problem, quit Mail again and put the folder back where it was, overwriting the one that may have been created in its place. Repeat with this line:
    ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.MailServiceAgent
Caution: If you change any of the contents of the sandbox, but leave the folder itself in place, Mail may crash or not launch at all. Deleting the whole sandbox will cause it to be rebuilt automatically.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination  command-C. In the Finder, select
              Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.

  • Itunes showing all data as other and sync button greyed out

Itunes showing all data as other and sync button greyed out.  I have downloaded and installed Itunes 11 (multiple times) and restored my phone twice already, but I am still not able to sync my Iphone 4 with Itunes.
When I select / de-select Apps on Itunes to remove from the phone the "Apply" button does appear, but after I click it nothing happens.  Then the greyed out "sync" button just appears again.
    Anyone with some advise please?

Try Restarting or Resetting your touch.
Restart: Hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears and turn off your iPod. Press the sleep/wake button and hold it until you see the Apple icon.
Reset: Hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time. The red slider will appear first, keep hold everything until you see the Apple icon. Release the buttons.
Check your iPod and see if your music and apps have reappeared. If they do after either option, then resync your iPod.
If neither works, then Restore your touch through iTunes.

Try the suggestions here to see if they resolve your problem:

If these don't work you probably have a hardware problem. Visit an Apple store for an evaluation or contact Apple Support.

well, you know how it is - glitches that usually resolve with a hard reset etc
then a restore. then a factory restore....then ..... nothing fixes so I try the next step with apple online - fill out my serial number and find it is a couple of weeks out of date - and then with the holidays who has time to get to the apple store? this is my second 4s handset as it is - first one the glass cracked from L to R without any impact/damage etc - they changed it out automatically because it's a 'known fault' apparently - so technically, this handset is only 6 months old - but warranty is from original purchase date -
never imagined it would turn out to be a warranty issue with the phone - and hey maybe when I get a chance to go to the apple store they'll be sympathetic, but I won't be able to get there till at least Jan 4th as it is. On the other hand, another iOS update might resolve the issue - but how long till that release? at the moment I'm having to use my old 3gs for wifi and 4s for phone!!!

  • Crystal report print button greyed out in user citrix sessions

    Hi,
We are running Citrix Enterprise Server 4.5 on Windows 2003 servers.
We have a ERP app called Epicor 7.3.6 installed on them.
Crystal Reports 9 is installed on all these servers and the epicor app displays and prints crystal reports.
Some users when logged into their Citrix profile session and running Crystal Reports from within Epicor application can not print the Crystal report because the Print button is greyed out.
We have compared users that can print against users who can not not print and not found anything at the network, file permissions, application permissions, printer setup setting level.
Also, if we were to take citirx completely out of the discussion, what might cause the print button to be greyed out in a crystal report when it is displayed (not the developer, but in the minmal window that shows the export, print, magnify options only).
    Thanks
    Chris

Check with Epicor. We don't know how Epicor implemented the solution so it's kinda like you asking a mechnic to fix your car, but he can't open the hood to see the engine.
A tip; this is more than likely due to permissions. So, compare between boxes thast work and don't work. Use [Process Monitor|http://technet.microsoft.com/en-ca/sysinternals/bb896645.aspx] to track permission issues.

  • IChat video an audio buttons greyed out & contact list busted.

    Hi folks...
I hope someone can help me. I just tried using my IChat again today and noticed that I can not make video or audio calls at all. Both buttons are completely
greyed out and disabled. Then again they sometimes reactivate and suddenly start working... why the sporadic randomness? Simple text chat is fine but video and audio buttons are dead.
Also I have non active and UNAUTHORISED contacts on my list that I just can not get rid of no matter what. I select the names.. go to EDIT/DELETE, they are removed only to re-appear a few seconds later in my list.
I noticed too that I do not have a com.apple.ichat.plist on my machine at all.. is this normal?
    Thank you for your time..
    Chris

    Hi,
The first thing that strikes me is that this is a Jabber account.
You cannot Video to Non iChat sources.
That means not to GoogleTalk Buddies that are logged in via a web Browser or PC users logged in with the App called GoogleTalk or any other Jabber app on Mac or PC.
iChat Video with Jabber IDs is iChat to iChat only.
Also check the View Menu > Show Statuses
You can turn Off Show Video Status and your own Video icon will show but all your Buddies will display Audio Only icons
Turn that off as well and you get a Buddy List like yours  (no green icons for Buddies).
This will effect AIM and Jabber Buddy Lists alike as well as the Bonjour one if you have it active.
    Deleting Buddies
It should be a question of Highlighting them and using the backspace key and confirming the delete message that pops up.
Or using the Remove option in the Video menu.
However there are a couple of quirks that have to be looked into.
    1) Any log in to the same Buddy list either on the same computer is a different App or on a different computer.
    2) Any web Login that may be active.
2a) Active might be a site that has a delayed "Keep Me Logged in" option if you don't specifically Log out.
Both Google and AIM have default periods of two weeks which is then kept "alive" if you keep logging in a web browser or using an App on a phone.
As there is constant communication between the app and the servers the Buddy list is constantly and instantly updated as buddies come on Line or change Status or go Off line.
Another Login will keep telling the server that "this is my Buddy List" and replace names you are trying to remove.
Make sure you are logged out of any other login, iPhone app, Web Browser on phone or Mac or another computer.

  • IOS App Store purchase buttons greyed out

So, we have two iphones and two iPads.  Today, I upated one of the iPads to 6.0.1 and now, in the APP STORE, all the purchase buttons are screwed up.  First, they are no longer rectangle - they are square and only showing the first few letters.  Second, they are greyed out - can't depress them.  All my other devices work fine, just this one.  I've tried shutting down all the apps in the task bar and hard resetting the machine.  I also tried logging out of my apple id and re-logging back in.  Nothing works.

I solved it.  I forgot that installing iOS 6.0.1 screws with your settings - randomly on each device - four devices I've installed this on and four different results.  While going through settings, RESTRICTIONS were activated which presents installing apps.  Also, had to relog back into Messages and Facetime.  VERY un-Apple.

  • Compressor 4.05: submit-button greyed out

When I want to submit a job in Compressor 4.05 the name/cluster/priority-window pops up but the 'submit' button there is greyed out.
I tried to run a small programm called Compressor_Repair but of no avail. Effectively Compressor 4.05 is useless now.
Until the last upgrade to 4.05 Compressor has always functioned.
Now what? Please don't tell me I have to uninstall Compressor and delete files from over 10 different folders before reinstalling again.

Called Applecare today. There was no quick solution and I'll receive an email with follow-up steps to make another user account and see if it happens again. Hopefully I can resolve the problem myself, otherwise I have to go back to Applecare and pay €90 for further support since it's been over 90 days that I purchased the "professional software".
In fact it's cheaper to purchase again

    Hi All
we have some guys in the US who are trying to connect to our Essbase servers.
When they type in the server name or ip address, username and password, the Ok button remains greyed out. Normally the button remains greyed out till you type in the password, but with them its always greyed out.
We are using 9.3.1 on Excel 2003, his pc is a Windows XP machine.
We are able to tracert to both server Ip's.
    Can anyone help?
    Kidn Regards
    Simon

The name is susicious to me, as it suggests that you either named your server "www" or you have a sub-domain called "www" that points specifically to that server (if that's even possible).
Try using <servername>.yahoo.com and see if the OK button is enabled, it may just be looking at the name and assuming that it's a URL and rejecting it outright (sounds unlikely though).
