  • All self-hosted web fonts are deleted after update to latest Muse version (2014.3)

All the self-hosted web fonts are deleted after updating Muse.
It is necessary to import the self-hosted fonts again and then redefine every paragraph style to make it work again.
This is an extra hour of work for every site using self-hosted fonts.
Please make sure to improve this on the next update-release of Adobe Muse.
    Thanks

    Hi Abhishek,
the site is directly uploaded using MUSE Upload to ftp host. When I open it with ftp client, there is off file of etelkawidemedium in fonts file.
And I have tried to upload plain webpage with the same web font -  not made in Muse and it works.

    So what should I do?
The answer from Shaun is little bit complicated for me:)
    Thanks, Elena

  • Can old versions of upgraded Adobe software taking up HD space be deleted after updating?

Can old versions of upgraded Adobe software taking up HD space be deleted after updating?

Updating versus upgrading - two different animals.  Updates need the software they are updating.  Upgrades of Adobe products do not need the precedent versions.
Upgraded versions are better off removed before installing the upgrades.  There are occasions where different versions share some file where deleting an older version after installing the newer one can remove a needed file.

  • All contacts, photos and apps deleted after updating to IOS 6

After updating my 4s to IOS 6 all my contacts, photos and apps were deleted.  I even tried connecting to itunes and restoring to backup with no luck.  Any idea how I can re-gain all my contacts, photos and apps?

Use iTune to update your apps.
Check for Updates (bottom right) in iTune. When download is completed, sync to iPad.

  • Keynote files deleting after update to 10.8.4

I performed a small edit to a Keynote file today after updating to 10.8.4 last night (used the combo updater).  The file crashed during a presentation and I though "no big deal, I'll just re-open it."  When I went to find it, it was completely gone.  Vanished.
I booted up Time Machine back at the office, restored the file, and chalked it up to some fluke.  Then I edited a different Keynote file.  It kept popping error messages about not being able to locate media files and I eventually closed it.  Again, I went to find the orginal file to re-open and it too has dissappeared.  This time, Time Machine wouldn't even let me restore it from a backup.
I ran disk utility and it found minor errors in the volume bitmap and free space remaining.  So I booted to the recorvery partition and repaired successfully.
I'm up and running again, but my Keynote file is still missing.  I'm afraid to open Keynote again for fear of this happening again.
Is there any known issue with 10.8.4 corrupting the file system, particulary when opening and editing Keynote files?
(15 " Retina MBP, latest model with 768 GB)

    GordonGecko9:
    - First, make sure you back up all remaining Keynote presentations. Hopefully, you have a backup of the one that got deleted.  I had to get a copy from another folder. Once the file was deleted, Time Machine suddenly thought it was never there in the first place too.  That's right, the deleted file was also deleted from Time Machine--even months back.
    - Once you have backups of your files, run Disk Utility and see if there are any errors.  I had a few, so booted into the Recovery partition and repaired.
    - Remove all your Keynote .plist files from the directory: /Users/your username/Library/Preferences.  Your Library folder will be hidden unless you hold the OPTION key and then select the GO menu at the top.  You can just move these files out of that folder and keep them elsewhere if you want them again.
    - Check your console log to see if any errors were reported about the time of the crash.  I had some message about Flip4Mac confilciting with another video codec, so I deleted Flip4Mac.  Not sure if it mattered, but I didnt' really need it anyway.
    - Since you have backups of your files now, you can start playing around with Keynote again to see if your problem is solved.  Here is what I found:
    > After deleting the .plist files, I sill had issues after editing presenations.  The changes would take, but then when I went to save the file, I got an error message that the location couldn't be found.  When I chose "Save As" isntead, Keynote crashed.  However, when I rellaunced Keyonte, the file was saved in its orginal location. (Before I deleted the .plist files, the presenation was gone after Keynote crashed).
    > Subsequent edits and saves worked normally on the same file.  As I opened other presenations from the same folder in the finder, I got the same errors (crashing and file not saving).  But then, upon relaunch everything seemed fine.
It seems that something with 10.8.4 is causing directory errors with Keynote files.  When you go to save an edited presenation, it gets confused about where to put it and the file gets deleted instead.
Please keep me posted on if the above "fix" works for you and if you notice anything else.

  • Photos of last 30 days deleted after update to iOS 8.0.2

After update to iOS 8.0.2 yesterday all my photos of the last 30 days are automatically removed/deleted from my iPhone5 overnight. These photos are not in the new folder "recently deleted" (Zuletzt gelöscht" in Geman). Instantly all photos were there and everything was fine. What went wrong?
The phone call list is also empty.
I want my photos back. Apple take care!!! I need answers immediatly!!!

I Have same issue with wifi on iPad air with 8.0.2 being qa engineer myself I am amazed how company like apple can release something with fundamental issues with wifi and cellular. I guess basic tests are missing and Apple needs to employ good people in test and do not get into this kind of disgrace next time. There is no fix? I have issues with apps upgrade too due to slow wifi, come on apple don't be Samsung or Chinese companies!!!!

  • Photos in Camera 360 got deleted after updating iOS 8.3

I've backed up my iPhone 5 before restoring and updating it. After it was updated, I restored the backup.
But after using for a few hours I realized that my album in Camera 360 was empty.
Is there any way to get the photos back other than restoring the backup?

I didn't use much folders until recently.
They should at least mark them in camera roll that they are in an album and ask if I don't want them deleted.  This would be an easy feature to add with using Photo on mac in the least.   How am I suppose to tell which ones to delete from camera roll and which ones not too that I have specifically saved to albums?  Who has time to painfully go through thousands of photos?

    Hello Farrel Hubbard,
You can find information to resolve the AOL account not deleting messages in Nathan C's post in this thread: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1799112&tstart=0
To add to Nathan's information, here is some additional information that may help:
    Go to Settings
    Choose Mail, Contacts and Calendars
    Select your AOL account
Select Advanced in the account settings
Select the "On my iPhone" entry next to Deleted Mailbox
In the next page you may see that Trash is already checked.
    Tap on Trash.
Tap the Home button (or you can back out of the settings)
This will take you back to the home screen - at this point you should once again be able to delete messages in the AOL account.
The steps above have worked on my own AOL account as well as two others here as well.

  • Library deleted after update

I recently updated my iphoto to 9th version and it just deleted my previous library of photos, including my newborn.
How can I recover all those photos??
    Tkx

Without a backup you'll probably have to use a file recovery application like SubrosaSoft FileSalvage to recover the files. Until you do use the Mac as little as possible.
FileSalvage will let your run it in demo mode to determine if it can recover the files and how many before you have to purchase it. There are other similar applications. Search for "file recovery" at MacUpdate.com.

  • Help!  Text Messages and Call History Deleted after Update

My Galaxy S4 updated automatically this morning and my text message history and phone call history are gone.  Is there a way to restore this?  Very frustrated.

        aroth1188,
I understand the importance of retrieving your text message history.  Did you have the Verizon Messaging application installed on the device?  This application may have your messages backed up for you to restore.  Please let us know if you still need further assistance.

  • TV shows deleted after updating

I play an episode of a TV show on my iPod, and then when I update it, the episode I previously played is off my iPod, and yet still in my iTunes library. This glitch is only applicable to TV shows.

    Hi
    Welcome to Apple discussions
I don't have a video iPod but I think that this is the answer to your question. In iTunes, with your iPod attached, select it in the source menu. There are a series of tabs at the top e.g. summary, music, podcast, photos etc. I assume that there will be one for videos/TV shows ( there may be one for TV and one for videos or it may just be one). Select the relevant one (if more than one). There should be a drop down menu saying sync all, 1 most recent 3 most recent etc. Select "all", and then click apply.
    Post back if any problems
