TS3367 I can hear my FaceTime ring but I don't see it on my screen. help!

My brother and mom both have the 4S and I have the iPhone 4. They both tried to call me via FaceTime on 3G but the first time around it was ringing on their end but nothing on mine (nada!) then after I reset my phone, I can hear the FaceTime ring but still nothing on the screen! I had the SMS application open and I could still text and even send messages even if I was technically getting a FaceTime call.

The app store can't be deleted, maybe you have a 1st gen iPod touch and need to update the software. Go to settings - about and you will see what it is currently running.
If it its 3.0 or later than you would have the app store, it may just be hidden.
The past user may have not restored the iPod so you will need to do that before you use it.

You did not indicate what OS version you are running on your mini, iOS 6 only runs on iPhones and iPads, but if you are using Mountain Lion click on Mission Control on the Dock to see what other Windows are available and what is running in each of them.
The iDVD icon should also appear on the Dock with a small triangle under it to indicate it is running. Click on that icon and even if there is no iDVD window open the iDVD menu should appear in the menu bar at the top of your screen you can then click on Option+Command+H to hide any application windows that may be covering iDVD. Also on the iDVD menu you can click on Window > Bring all to Front.

Then it's not my advice.
There are two very important things about this.
• NEVER - move or alter any folder named iMovie Events or iMovie Projects on DeskTop/Finder - at all !
All changes must take place inside the iMovie Application - else connections break ! and iMovie can't find them.
Move Events and Projects back and hope that they will be found.
• The external hard disk - MUST BE - Mac OS Extended (hfs) formatted - UNIX/DOS/FAT32/Mac OS Exchange works for most BUT NOT FOR VIDEO - not for iMovie nor FinalCut.

Bookmark window disapears. WHen I klick on it it is transparent, it is possble to klick on the links in it. But you don't see what you are klicking.

I open the bookmarks ant then the window whit all of the links will be there for a milisec.
Then it is just open but transperend.

I am curious if possibly the hotel has some sort of VOIP block on. Have you tried Skype? Did you talk to the hotel staff? My husband is traveling to Milan in a couple of days and I wonder if he will run into the same issue. He has had no problems from Istanbul but he is staying in a corporate apartment there. Once the connection is made you should automatically see the other person full screen, with a small inset picture of yourself. Normally you only see yourself full screen after you initiate the call prior to the other person accepting it. Are you both connected to wi-fi and are you initiating the call by tapping the FaceTime button on the other person's contact?

You aren't attached to a bluetooth headset or other device for some strange reason? Or even an automobile bluetooth, I have a friend that has this issue with his Prius because even when it is not running the bluetooth is still active and connects to his phone.

HP Pavilion dv6135nr Notebook internal speakers have stopped working. I can hear sounds on headphones but no sound via the internal speakers. A search on HP customer care for my notebook yielded the download recommendation below, even though I had not stated my problem. However, executing this download did NOT resolve the problem. Please advise regarding resolution to inoperable speakers. I do not know if all of my sound and audio settings are correct, but the mute is not on and the volume controls are properly set. The default device is Conexant High Definition Audio output, per the sound and audio devices properties hardware tab the device status states "this device is working properly." Is it possible that a Skype or Foxfire update is in conflict with this device? If so, how do I resolve this situation?

Everytime I use my headphones for more than an hour or two, the **bleep** audio will not play on my notebook's speakers, just through the headphones. Usually restarting a few times resolves the problem, but not this time. If I knew that HP computers sucked this much I would never have spent so much money on this one!!!

Mac doesn't boot
Can you hear the fans and hard drive and see the white boot screen? Flashing question mark? The circle just runs and nothing happens? Only black screen and nothing else? These can be very helpful to diagnose the source of the problem. [1]
Flashing question mark [2]: This is usually a sign of a failed hard drive. This indicates that boot up volume can not be found.
Black screen: This is usually a sign of a failed logic board. There is no single reason for this and this may be caused by failed GPU, screen, CPU or RAM.
Circle of death/no circle/blue screen: This is usually a sign of a hard drive failure. This may NOT be a dead hard drive, just broken permissions or something
Gray screen/Apple logo/spinning gear or globe/prohibitory sign/folder with flashing question mark [3]: This could be a sign of faulty hardware but more likely a software issue, i.e. broken permissions, failed software update, etc.

What to do
First, hold down the option key (also known as the alt key) just after you've pressed the power button. This should show all the available options to boot from, so if you have Windows installed through Bootcamp or a disk in your SuperDrive, you should be able to see them along with your OS X drive/partition. Select the OS X partition with arrow keys and press enter. Startup key combinations
If that doesn't help continue doing the steps from below:
1. SMC reset [4]. Shut down and unplug all cables including power cord for at least 30 seconds and then plug in power cord and keyboard/mouse.
2. PRAM reset [5]. Hold down option, command, P and R while booting. Start it when you hear the sound and don't let go before it reboots.
3. Safe boot [6]. Hold down shift while booting to boot into safe mode. If this works, open Disk Utility from Utilities and repair your permissions and verify the disk
4. Hardware test [7]. Insert the install disk (disk 1 in Mac which shipped with OS X 10.5.4 or earlier, disk 2 if shipped with OS X 10.5.5 or newer) and hold down "D" before the grey boot screen opens. Follow on screen instructions
5. Boot from install disk. Boot from the disk that came with your Mac. Hold C while booting. Select Disk Utility from top bar and repair permissions and verify the disk. Reboot normally and see if it works now.
6. Boot from another Mac (Firewire target disk mode). Connect the machines with a Firewire cable. Power on your Mac and press T. Select the other Mac's hard drive. Download the current OS X combo update. Run the combo update installer and select the drive that won't boot as the destination.
7. "Repair" OS X. Boot from the install disk as in point 5. and reinstall OS X. This should NOT erase any data, just replaces the system files which may have caused your booting problem. Now install the latest combo update for OS X and repair permissions on your drive with Disk Utility.
7.1. Install OS X into an external hard drive and then boot from it [8] and try to copy your data from the hard drive before proceeding. If you have done a backup recently, you don't have to do this.
8. Restore OS X from Time Machine backup. Boot from the disk that came with your Mac and choose the Time Machine restore option. This step will lose any changes made since your last backup but the system and your data will be put back to exactly as it was on that date.
8.1 Reinstall OS X. Boot from the install disk as in point 5. and select Disk Utility again. Now erase the whole hard drive and install OS X again. If you had a Time Machine backup and step 7 worked you don't have to do this.
