The iPad that you bought in Dubai will never and can never have FacetIme on it, if it is not already on it.
The phone that you bought may not have been brought into the country legally. FaceTime is restricted in Dubai and it should not be on your phone.

I belive I had Face Time icon on my Italian iPhone4 (Vodafone IT). Later I loaded FaceDial but I do not know if it worked (I am not so interested in it). I have FaceTime on my Mac and I use it from there
Yesterday I bought e new iPod Touch 4 for my wife and she has Face Time. Do not know if it works, will check.
I have noticed that on my iPhone FaceTime has disappeared and was guessing may be FaceDial killed it.
Deleted FaceDial. Nothing, no FaceTime Icon. THen I relized I have to activate it in the Preferences as reported here in the forum. I did. THer iPhone connected to Vodafone adn apparently Face Time is activated (the Phone even displays a message about the possible cost of the SMS activation by Vodafone). But still no FaceTime Icon.
Then I decided to install FaceDial again and ... IT WORKS.
It connects on WiFi even with Phone Off...
I would like to know wich is the part played by the Telephone company in all this if the connection is over WiFi and in my case not the same telefone company of iPhone contract..

Make sure the iPad is connected to a Wi-Fi network.
Tap Settings > Wi-Fi.
Switch Wi-Fi to ON then setup your network.

To start with, my knowledge on this is limited. I like to use my Mac mini [end 2012 - 10.8.2] as my backup for my Imac [late 2009 - 10.7.5] and to use it at my workplace somewhere else. I'd like that the Mac mini synchronises automatically with my Imac again when connecting.
Here's what I did so far. Imac if off. Thunderbolt cable connects them both. Mini switched on, in system preferences/target disk selected as target disk and restarted. Mini monitor shows grey and a "firewire' logo.
Imac is switched on, according to some support sites, an icon should appear now to drag/drop files between the 2. This icon doesnt show on my Imac screen, is this due to 2 different OS versions? Can this drag/drop be done automaticallily by syncing somehow?

Target disk mode is mainly for transferring files on a limited basis. I think the iCloud would work better for you.

If a phone is sold from one friend to another and wants to use it on a different carrier the friend can contact the carrier it was sold by to request it unlocked. I know AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint will give you the steps to unlock it as long as the original contract it was bought under has been completed. eBay/Craigslist is really not the best place to try to get "unlocked phones" from, if it turns out the phone isn't unlocked then I'm really sorry you got stuck with that one and as stevejobsfan said above I would report them immediately and see if you can recover your money. hi, i enabled the e-mail agent funtion, i created a e-mail queue, and i made the exchange configuration, but i dont see the icons on the agent desktop
why? does anyone know?

The icons wont become available until the e-mail agent system is configured (via the Desktop Administrator web interface).

I dont see a Holster icon in the Z30 settings menu

How do i set the notification settings for email, text, email, etc for my Z30 while it is in the holster? In the user guide it says ;
1. In the Phone app, swipe down from the top of the screen. (done)

Try emptying the Safari cache more often. From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Empty Cache
If that doesn't help, try resetting. From the menu bar again, click Safari > Reset Safari. Select the top 5 boxes then click Reset.
BTW... it would help to tell us which Mac OS X you have installed and in this case, which version of Safari.
