TS3367 iPad mini has no ringtone for Facetime
When someone calls my ipad mini on Facetime, there is no ringtone. I have checked 'Sounds' and Marimba is default sound but it doesn't work. Volume is up too. Facetime does work, just no ringtone.
I'm referring to the mute switch. This is by default the switch beside the volume controls, however, mute can be configured to the "multi-tasking" tray which is shown by double-clicking the Home button and swiping the tray to the right.

I would first start with forcing all applications to close and power cycle the device. Once this is done, have someone make a test call using these applications. If the issue persists, see the steps in the second article.

Wrong on all counts. Well except for the A5 post.
The 3rd Generation iPad and iPhone 4s both have an Audience chipset for noise suppression/voice recognition that the iPad 2 et. al. do not have. The iPhone 5, 5th Generation iPod Touch, 4th Generation iPad and iPad Mini are using a different type of hardware based noise suppression/voice recognition that is an improvement over the Audience chipset (hope you didn't have Audience stock). -

Please help! I'm really stressed out about this. I have lost all my recent family holiday photos after returning from overseas. After I sync my ipad mini with my laptop pc for the very first time. all the photos I had in my iPad mini has gone. I assume it was stored in iCloud. As suggested i should download iCloud Control Pannel to my pc to which I did. After I click "manage storage", it shows I have used up 621.70MB of my total storage 5GB. I tried to click on the BACKUP icon, it displayed (incomplete) next to my ipad. What does it mean by incomplete? Where can I access my photo from icloud? Thank you and looking forward to your reply.

But my iclod account says I have 621.7 MB backed up. What are they? How to access this backed up file? What does I meant by INCOMPLETE. Does it mean that the file ha been corrupted during the process? Or ICloud is not compatible to my laptop?

What do you mean by 'frozen' ? Have you tried a soft-reset to see if that gets it to work ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Close the mail app and reset the iPad. Closing apps instructions are for iOS 7. If you're not running iOS 7, I assume that you know how to close apps in iOS 5 or 6. If you don't know how to close apps, just reset the iPad.
To close an app, drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.

Reset the device:

my sons ipad mini has disabled. the screen went black as he was playing on it and wouldnt turn off. Looks like the computer is restoring your iPad.
Suggest you do not disconnnect iPad until computer say that the sync is completed.
After that try to reset by press the Sleep and Home button until you see the Apple Logo.
There is a possibility that there's a problem with your iPad screen. -

my ipad mini has water damage but when I plug into wall it says to connect to itunes. When I plug into Mac nothing happens. Not even a charging sign and nothing happens with itunes. Computer doesn't recognize it's plugged in.
If moisture got inside, it may have shorted the iPad's electronics.

When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.

I get home after buying my ipad mini play with it for a bit then try to sync my songs, movies and photos on and it syncs fine. I then look back at the ipad and seem to find on the top right saying " not charging ". I read other forms and people also struggeling with the same problem. My computer dose'nt have enough power. There must be another way for me to get to charge my ipad mini from my computer. It works fine charging it in an outlet. any ideas??!
