    I'm assuming that you only use Yahoo mail on the web and not through a mail client, such as Outlook or Thunderbird?
    Also, make sure all of your Yahoo emails are going directly to the Yahoo inbox and not to sub folders or junk folders. Only the inbox will be delivered to your BlackBerry.

  • This morning, for some reason, my yahoo inbox stopped updating and is frozen. I can send a new email but can receive any emails. Help!

    THis morning my yahoo mail stopped updating at 8:32. I turned my iPad off and on nothing. I deleted my email and then load d it again nothing. Looking for other suggestions. But my email works just fine on my iPhone.

    Thank you for the reply! However, I have already tried deleting my Yahoo account and then adding it back. All that served to do was delete everything!
    I can send an email but I cannot receive any emails in my Apple/iPad mailbox using Yahoo. However, my iPhone is working just fine! I finally downloaded the Yahoo App for mail so I can at least receive my emails on my iPad. All very frustrating!

    After setting up your account - power off your phone and power it back on and see if you receive any emails.
    For outgoing mail depending on what account your using, check in the mail settings and see if you need to enter a password for your outgoing mail server, - same password as your incoming mail.

  • Can't Highlight ANY text, please help.

    I can't highlight any text in any application. I can't drag my mouse to highlight, and when I press Ctrl+A it only highlights pictures and links on a web page.
    Please help, I need to be ably to copy text for my work and I can't even select it.

    I would begin by starting up in Safe Mode, log in, and see if it works any better in terms of highlighting.
    If not, then try Repair Disk
    Insert Installer disk and Restart, holding down the "C" key until grey Apple appears.
    Go to Installer menu (Panther and earlier) or Utilities menu (Tiger) and launch Disk Utility.
    Select your HDD (manufacturer ID) in the left panel.
    Select First Aid in the Main panel.
    (Check S.M.A.R.T Status of HDD at the bottom of right panel, and report if it says anything but Verified)
    Click Repair Disk on the bottom right.
    If DU reports disk does not need repairs quit DU and restart.
    If DU reports errors Repair again and again until DU reports disk is repaired.
    If DU reports errors it cannot repair you will need to use a utility like Tech Tool Pro or Disk Warrior

    For some reason I am unable to receive emails on my iPad although it's been fine up to one?

    Are you able to send?
    Are you able to receive them on another device? If so, make sure that the ISP server is set to keep a copy on the server for a number of days so that they are available to your iPad [this obviously was the case until recently if you operated more than one device, and if that is the problem].
    Failing that (1) check that the settings under Mail on your iPad have not been altered, and (2) try a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release]. The latter is a safe action.

    It takes upto 7 working days for a this process there is nothing that can be done to speed it up.?

    The way to get passed the passcode is to restore your iPhone. Follow the steps in the article below to put your iPhone into recovery mode and then use iTunes to restore it. If you have a back up within iTunes or iCloud, you can put the back up back on and the passcode does not come back.

    Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
    Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to shut down.
    While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
    Continue holding the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.
    iTunes will alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then restore the device.

    My work is giving an old imac G5 and I can't change the IP address for my home internet because its asking for a password that no one remembers Even my boss is clueless.
    I tried going into Keychain Assistant, but it seemed not to help at all.
    We can't even take away or add programs.
    Is their anyway to manually override this??? It's getting very frustrating. I'm about to take to a mac guy and just have him wipe the harddrive/___sbsstatic___/migration-images/migration-img-not-avail.png
    I don't remember what the latest OS is at the moment.

    Are you able to receive any mail at all? If not, make sure that all of your information for mail is accurate in settings again. if you still have nothing, go to your email through safari. (example: www.yahoo.com) If you do not see the emails here either, it is a problem with the password reset server not your mail app.

  • As of 1:00pm Thursday, 3/1/12, I am no longer receiving any email, nor can I send anything out from my account. I am OS4.1.1, hoping to upgrade next week to Leopard (because my mac is not Intel-based), but in the meantime, it's non-functional.

Currently my iDisk works to transfer my larger files, but my email does not.

    I think they're slowly nudging people to switch, .mac & MobileMe are going away about July, may as well set it up now.
    I understand .mac mail will still come through.
    iCloud Mail setup, do not choose .mac or MobileMe as type, but choose IMAP...
    IMAP (Incoming Mail Server) information:
    • Server name: imap.mail.me.com
    • SSL Required: Yes
    • Port: 993
    • Username: [email protected] (use your @me.com address from your iCloud account)
    • Password: Your iCloud password
    SMTP (outgoing mail server) information:
    • Server name: smtp.mail.me.com
    • SSL Required: Yes
    • Port: 587
    • SMTP Authentication Required: Yes
    • Username: [email protected] (use your @me.com address from your iCloud account)
    • Password: Your iCloud password

  • Can't receive any .btinternet emails in Mac Mail!

    I am using Mac Mail on Lion OSX but unable to receive any emails that are addresses to any of my .btinternet addresses.  However I do receive emails sent to my .pipex addresses.  Furthermore I can receive ALL emails to Thunderbird and BTyahoo  my alternative email clients on the same Mac.  It seems that it is just Mac Mail that is stopping all emails with a .btinternet suffix from being delivered.  Anyone know why?  It could be a Mac Mail problem but I don't know where to look.  When I use Connection Doctor this is what I see below.

    The sending of email is accomplished via the SMTP server. Take a moment to get back into Settings>Mail, contacts, calendars and select the account. Go to the SMTP server and check to make sure that username and password are entered in all of the appropriate places. If you cannot get it to work after trying to just change those settings, remove the account from the phone and recreate it. When recreating, make sure you enter the username and password in every location, even if the phone says optional. Make sure you have the settings from either the email provider or from the other device. Make sure that SSL is on or off as necessary.
