Why, when i open messages, i for one have to select each person individually which is
Bs in the first place. But if you put any number of contacts over 30 as recipients, as soon as your
Done typing and push send, the app crashes? This is garbage. This whole 5s is crap.
Apple needs to fix this and fast (wasnt a problem on my 4s or my 3gs) or im just gonna
Move to samsung. Unhappy.

Messages only works with other iOS devices and with Mac computers running Mountain Lion or Mavericks. In addition to that, the other person that you want to message with must already be registered and set up to use messages on their device. You cannot add them on your own from your device, they have to set it up first on their own.
If those conditions have been met, try this. Go to Settings>Messages>Show Subject field>Off.

Uninstall the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened.
There are a couple of places to check for the Ask toolbar:

I bought an iPhone 3G this morning (wahoo!), and can confirm that I have setup both an IMAP (for my home server) and an exchange server (for work).
Exchange is set to push email (so will get email as it arrives) and IMAP is currently set to manual, and is working like a charm.. With multiple accounts you get to set one as the preferred which it will default to when composing (but you can change the accounts on the compose screen)
Only minor annoyance is signature is shared between both accounts, other than that am loving it!
