And with me it's the same.. sometimes it does..sometimes it doesn't..
HEY APPLE!  HEY APPLE!!   HEY APPLE.. : please fix it..
do you guys also have a MacBook Pro with OS X 10.7.2 on it?
I have an iPhone 4. Just bought it a month ago.
    With iOS5 obviously.
    HEY APPLE!!!
When do you think we can really synch without cables?
If you need more info..just send me an E-mail. You know my adress..

  • Movies Purchased on iTunes via iOS Devices not showing up in iTunes on my MacBook Pro

I have some 40 movies that I have purchased through iTunes on my iPhone.  They all show up on my iOS devices as well as my Apple TV but only 8 of them show up on iTunes on my MacBook Pro. I have read threads from other users that found a resolution to their problem by "unhiding" the movies through iTunes in the Cloud but my account only shows Manage Devices & iTunes Match, so that didn't help unfortunately.  I am runing the latest version of Mountain Lion and iTunes and I have gone to "Check for Available Downloads" but a window just pops up saying "All purchases have been downloaded for this Apple ID".  Does anyone have any ideas or guidance on what I could or should do?

    Hello RepsolRider
Go to the iTunes Store > Purchases, and then you should be able to see your purchases. Click the cloud icons to download your purchases. Also go to iTunes Preferences, go to the Store tab and make sure that Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases is checked.

  • Why are my rentals not showing up in iTunes?

I have recently rented a movie in the current version of iTunes and it will not show up.  i can search the title with spotlight and it finds it but it will not play from there.  The rental option in itunes does not even show up as an option to select.  i then just downloaded the movie again on my apple TV and was able to view it but i was charged for two rentals.

    HI Brad,
I tried downloading initially I rented the SD version which I had issues with. I then Rented the HD version of the  video & it worked.
I then emailed [email protected], and explained the issue & asked for a refund. I got a response in less than 24 hours in which they gave me a no  nonsense apology & full refund. Just be nice in the email with please & thank yous.
    Best of luck

  • WHY IS MY IPOD NOT SHOWING UP ON ITUNES

i recieved an i pod (30g) from a friend cuz she broke my other i pod and it is not showing up on i tunes can someone please help me out.
    THANKS,
    DARTH

    Which 30GB iPod is it?
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1353
I ask because there is a 3rd gen iPod model
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1353#dockconnector
that is 30GB, and it is designed to work with FireWire, not USB.
If you have never used this iPod before, it can obviously be because it is broken.
Can you give more details? For example, what appears on the iPod's screen when you connect it? Does it charge when connected? Does it show up in a My Computer window as a hard drive?

  • HT5312 Why does my device not show me the option to reset my security questions

My I pod 5 will not let me purchase anything without my security questions but I forgot them.  When looking to restore them I was not given the option to reset my questions.  What do I do???....

    1. Because you haven't previously set up a rescue email address. Doing so now requires correctly answering two of the questions.
    2. Go back to the article you asked this question from and use the link to contact the iTunes Store staff in the 'Additional Information' section. If you don't already have a valid rescue email address, you can't reset the questions yourself, and nobody on these boards can reset them for you.

  • Why does my iPhone not show up in iTunes on a mac that has a shared internet connection from another mac?

I have what I would consider a difficult question. I called Apple Care and after she spoke to a senior advisor, the representative ended up saying it wasn't possible.
Having said that, I'm sure this is not a difficult question for people with networking expertise.
    Setup
So...I have a MacBook receiving a WiFi signal via AirPort.
In System Preferences, I have turned on Internet sharing (share airport over Ethernet).
I connected the Ethernet port on my MacBook to the Ethernet port on my MDD PowerMac G4.
At this point, I can successfully browse the web, perform software updates, and view other computers and iTunes libraries on my network from my G4.
    Goal
However, in iTunes on my G4 I would like to use iTunes DJ.
    Tried
    So...I click on iTunes DJ.
I set the settings (button in bottom right) to allow guest remotes, etc.
I turned on iTunes Home Sharing (logged into the same account as by iPhone).
    Problem
However, from the Remote app on my iPhone, I am unable to see the library on my G4.
Also, if I want to pair my iPhone Remote app with iTunes on my G4, I click add Library in the Remote app, but iTunes on the G4 never displays my iPhone in the left column (although I am able to see all other iTunes libraries being shared on the network).
Thus, I cannot connect to iTunes as a guest Remote, nor can I connect as paired remote.
I have successfully done both of these things with computers connected directly to my modem, as well as with computers connected via WiFi.
The problem is connecting devices to computers that get their internet connection though another computer via internet sharing.
    Question
So my question is about Internet sharing itself. Is it not a fully featured ad-hoc network? Does it only provide browsing capabilities and the ability to browse networked computers, but NOT devices such as an iPhone? I don't see the difference; my iPhone is on the same network as the computers, so why is there no communication between it and computers that gain their Internet connection through another computer?
I really hope someone out there who is an expert in networking can help me out with this. Or if it truly is impossible, if someone could explain to me why that is the case, I would also appreciate it.
ps. I usually have my MacBook sharing its Internet connection through an old router that I am using as a switch because I share the connection with three other computers. And if it isn't obvious, the modem is downstairs, and the MacBook, old router being used as a switch, and other computers are upstairs where there is no Ethernet wired.
Thank you in advance for any help.

  • IPod device not showing up in iTunes and just charges.....?

Yesterday it was working fine, but for some odd reason, it now just shows it charging, and doesn't load to the computer or show up in my iTunes. Anybody know what I could do? I would really appreciate it if someone coule help me. Thank you!

First of all, try another port on your computer. Some ports are not connected direct to the motherboard and do not recognize the iPod as well as those that are. Reset the iPod each time you connect it to another port.
Then try with the iPod in forced disk mode.
    Putting iPod into disk mode.
    Still no joy, see these.
iTunes 7 doesn't recognize the iPod.
    Your Windows PC doesn't recognize iPod</font color</a>.
iPod appears in Windows Explorer but does not appear in iTunes.
iPod does not appear in iTunes.
Fast user switching in Windows XP is not supported.
    Strange iPod behavior.

  • Why is my CD not showing up on iTunes?

I put a blank audio CD into my computer so that I could burn some songs onto it, but iTunes doesn't recognize it, even though a disc icon shows up next to my cursor (so the problem can't be my computer). Could someone please help me?

Oh....now I know the problem! I was trying to burn a playlist from my iPod, not iTunes itself. Is there any way to make a playlist from songs that are in your iPod library?

  • Why are my audiobooks not showing up in iTunes on my computer?

I bought them on my iPhone but want to listen to them on my computer--which is hooked up to my tv--because it has better audio to listen to while I don't have headphones in.  Out of the three audiobooks I own, only half of one is in iTunes on my computer.  Yes, half.  After much prompting for it to search for available downloads--also tried directly syncing it with my phone, didn't work--my computer decided to only download half of my most recently purchased book.  I wouldn't nearly be so frustrated with it if it had downloaded the first half instead of the end, then I could at least listen to it and worry about the rest later, but alas.
Going to just listen to it off my phone for now but would like to know how to solve this problem for future reference.  Any help would greatly be appreciated.  Thank you.

Connect your iPhone to iTunes and use the File > Devices > Transfer Purchases feature to transfer the audiobooks into your library. Due to limitations by the rights holders audiobooks unlike most other digital purchases (now) may only be downloaded once. It is best practice to download to your computer and immediately back up any audiobooks or other items that are limited to a single download.
As for the partial download you will need to contact the iTunes Store support team through the report a problem links in your account history and explain that one part of that title has yet to be delivered successfully to you. They should be able to requeue it for download.
