TS3694 0x800b0101 error when signing into itunes

I am constantly getting the error code 0x800b0101 when trying to log on to Itunes.  I have tried to download a fix code but am also getting an error when trying to run that.  Has anyone had this problem and if so can you please provide me with a solution?????

Gents... and Ladies.
I was having the issue last night... I went to update some apps on my iPhone and it kept telling me my password was wrong (I knew it wasnt)... after saying "ok let me change that password" on my Apple ID it gave me the painful message "fatal internal message"
I just checked this AM (7:00 AM EST) and I am posting this message with my @me account using the account I had issues with.
Is everyone else ok now or still having issues.  Was going to call Apple Support from work today.

    Thanks for the question. If you are having issues with the security questions associated with your Apple ID, follow these steps:
    If you forgot the answers to your Apple ID security questions

    Reset your security questions
    1. Go to My Apple ID (appleid.apple.com).
    2. Select “Manage your Apple ID” and sign in.
    3. Select “Password and Security” on the left side of the page.
    4. If you have only one security question, you can change the question and answer now.
    5. If you have more than one security question:
              - Select “Send reset security info email to [your rescue email address].” If you don't see this link or don't have access to your rescue address, contact Apple Support as described in the next section.
              - Your rescue address will receive a reset email from Apple. Follow its instructions to reset your security questions and set up new questions and answers. Didn't receive the email?
    After resetting your security questions, consider turning on two-step verification. With two-step verification, you don't need security questions to secure your account or verify your identity.
    If you can't reset your security questions
    Contact Apple Support in either of these circumstances:
              - You don't see the link to send a reset email, which means you don't have a rescue address.
              - You see the link to send a reset email, but you don't have access to email at the rescue address.
    A temporary support PIN isn't usually required, but Apple may ask you to generate a PIN if your identity needs to be verified.

  • Error when signing into Elements 10

    After I sign into Elements 10, this is the message box that immediately pops up:  "Photoshop.com services are currently unavailable.  Please try again later or check your network connections.  Error 400."  I have looked all over Photoshop.com to see if there is anything posted as to why they are unavailable but see nothing.  I have no other issues with my network connections, just when I try signing in to this.  Any ideas?  Figures that I actually really need it at the moment and can't get in.  Any help or information would be great. 

    I did receive all of those emails but I guess I didn't realize that I would no longer be able to use the software that I purchased earlier this year Elements 10 with the change from photoshop.com to revel.  I just thought that meant the pictures were being stored different.  I can't even get into just use the software to edit a picture.  I guess I am not sure what has to be done differently because when I click on my icon on my desk top to use Elements 10, it brings up the Welcome to Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 screen and here it asks for me to sign in with my Adobe ID which is where I would go to Organize or Edit.  So you say that it can't work from revel within PSE the way it did with photoshop.com, what do I do instead to be able to use the software to edit?  If I sign into Revel, I see the pictures there but I don't use the storage function to organize my pics, I just use the edit function of Elements 10.  It seems you are saying that I bought this software and now can't use it??

  • Getting "Unknown Error." signing into iTunes on my MacBook Pro

    This happens after I enter my Apple ID password to make a purchase in the iTunes store. I reset my password and it works in the App Store on the same computer, and in both iTunes and the App Store on my iPhone and my iPad. I am running 10.8.2 with the latest version of iTunes. I have reinstalled iTunes and rebooted to no avail....any ideas?

    Here are the two relevant troubleshooting steps I found that might help you out:
    You may need to reset your keychain. Connection issues are occasionally caused by keychain issues. Learn how to use Keychain First Aid to resolve any issues with your keychain.
    If you're receiving a specific error message, follow these steps.

    When I try to access iTunes Connect I receive the following error: Your Apple ID isn’t enabled for iTunes Connect. Everything I have read says to use your Apple ID, which I have used. But I still cannot sign into iTunes Connect. I have enrolled in the iOS Developer Program and have received email confirmation from Apple Developer Program. I have contacted Apple Support and have not heard back from them yet and of course it is Sunday and they are only open from M-F 9-7cst. Has anyone else had this problem?     I just had this happen to me too. I read that my apple id (the one that I couldn't log into iTC with) needs to have a credit card on file. So I opened iTunes, changed to my problematic account, which was brand new, entered a cc, and then went back over ot iTC.
    I still couldn't log in. But I tried creating the account again, and this time, it worked. So I had to go back to the "front page" of iTC and start over after I entered a cc on iTunes.

    Can you install the root certificate update for Windows 7 from here:
    http://download.windowsupdate.com/msdownload/update/v3/static/trustedr/en/rootsu pd.exe
    Not sure if it's for Windows 7 x64, but the end game is to update your root certificates manually.

    I've got the same problem right now. I have an old Apple ID that my whole family was using (of course that one works fine) but I want to sign in with my personal iCloud ID and it does the same thing that you described. Any answers?
    Note: doesnt work in iTunes or the App Store from my Macbook Pro or my iPhone, but does work when I sign in to the Apple ID page in my browser.

    I was able to sign into iTunes, but when attempting to download a song I received error code 5002 and to try back later. Now I Can not sign into ITunes at all and am still getting the code 5002. I've changed my credit card info via store.apple.com but this did not fix the problem. ran diagnostic check and everything is fine. Is this a problem on their end?

    I fixed this error for my daughter after a while by working out that the address in her login profile was a different country from the iTunes and App store that she was logging into...
    I also blogged about it to try to help others as this took out a good 6 hours of my Christmas evening trying to set up my kid's MBP.

    Solved the problem. I had to allow cookies for safari and it run - as here: Re: itunes keeps asking for my apple id password. it's NOT entered incorrectly.
