TS3694 CAN'T RESTORE IPHONE 3G. PLEASE HELP (ASAP)!!!!
What can I do if I have the error (1015)?
I was restoreing my iphone 3g, when I was about to finish the process it tells that the iphone cant be restoered and that there is was an error (1015). I selected (OK), then it tells me that iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. That I must restore the iPhone before it can be used with iTunes. So I selected (OK), The iPhone now looks like when I first bought it a month ago (With the cable and the iTunes symbol on it). So I restore it again and the same thing happens all over again. I dont know what to do please help.
Error 1015 is normally an indication that the phone was jailbroken and attempts have been made to downgrade the iOS to an earlier version.
"Error 1015: This error is typically caused by attempts to downgrade the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch's software. This can occur when you attempt to restore using an older .ipsw file. Downgrading to a previous version is not supported. To resolve this issue, attempt to restore with the latest iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch software available from Apple. This error can also occur when an unauthorized modification of the iOS has occurred and you are now trying to restore to an authorized, default state."
We can help you with this problem in these forums as discussion of jailbroken phones is against the Terms of Use. You'll have to find a solution using Google (if there is one).

Unknown Error (-1) at "restoring firmware" with iOS5 - Cannot restore iPhone 4 - please help!

My iPhone 4 told me that it couldn't receive calls and that I needed to Restore. I tried to restore through iTunes, but when it started to "restore firmware" I got an Unknown Error (-1) and now my phone is in a perpetual state of needing restored, failing restore, needing restore, etc.
I've tried everything which technical support suggested (updated iTunes, updated Windows 7, unplugged all other USB devices, deactivated Firewall and Virus killer, restarted computer, reinstalled iTunes, redownloaded Firmware file, etc.) but nothing has so far worked.
All my phone shows is the iTunes logo with the USB connector, asking me to connect with iTunes. When I do connect, it goes back into the Restore error cycle.
Please help!

Let me start off saying thanks for reading this and hopefully someone on here can help me out! So my problem is I had left my iPad at my vacation house for quite sometime and I just got it back today. I have many different passcodes (one for my iPhone, one for my iPod and one for my iPad) and I had forgotten what it was for my iPad. I tried many different ones but I just kept disabeling my iPad for hours and hours. I know it was dumb of me for not writing it down somewhere, but lesson learned. Anyways, I decided to put my iPad into DFU Mode so I could try to restore it. Once I placed it into recovery mode, I hit restore on my Mac and everything was going great until this messaged popped up:
I have done tons of searching online to see how to fix this but all the ways have not worked. This is mostly because in my hosts folder, I don't have any errors.
Now I am stuck and I have no idea what to do. My iPad will not turn on since it's in DFU mode and I am not able to resotre it so I really need help! If someone could help me, I would really appreciate it. I know it was dumb to set it into DFU mode but it was my last resort and I know not to do it again. If you know anyone that coiuld help with this problem, please have them answer this because I really need help as soon as possible, I apologize for sounding desperate. This error seems to be common if the firmware has been modified and you're trying to restore the phone again.

Itunes 11.1.4.62 unable to read content and need to restore iphone. Please help !
Yesterday I had update itunes to 11.1.4.62, I try to sync my iphone 5(ios 7), it unable to read the content from my device and ask me to restore. I don't want to restore while I not yet back up everything. Any helps ? Thanks.
Try a more recent version of my advice. The "for older video cards version" may work when the default version doesn't.

Mac Mail turned all my Yahoo mail accounts inactive and I can't restore them. Please help!
I was using mac mail this morning with my 2 yahoo email accounts. Out of nowhere the accounts went inactive. When I went to the mail settings and tried to restore the email by clicking the mail check box nothing happen. I can still send and receive mail on my phone but the mac mail program is another story. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I can't update iPhone 4 please help!
I bought my iphone 4 over a year ago from EBay. It's locked to 02 network I have never had any problems with it & it works fine but I have never been able to update it to any latest versions. It's just stuck on 4.1 and each time I try to update it on iTunes it does something for ages and then a message comes up saying your device could not be updated. Please note that the phone has never been jailbroken. Anyone who can advise me will be highly appreciated. Thank you.
I've turned them all off the domain firewall, the public and private firewalls. I'm updating it again now I hope it works. I've tried to update the phone every other week and I've had it since January 2011! Anyway thank you for your advice I'll let you know what happens.

I changed an email on my apple ID to the new one. I upgraded my 5s to ios8, it required the password on the old email that I can't reach it. I tried to restore but I can't. In conclusion, I changed an email to the new one but it still the old on the updated 5s and I filled down the password and it said "incorrect ID or password" so I can't change it into the new one. How should I do? Thank you so much.
Yes, absolutely, you can still use the old ID to update, etc., but I understood the OP to want to simply discard the old one and use only the new one. Maybe I misunderstood...
And, actually just now re-reading the first post, it could be that the ID had only been associated with the iDevices, so if he established a new ID and associated that with the new MBP, I frankly have no idea if he can still use the old ID on that machine (based on him saying that the old ID is greyed out) - have not come up with this type of situation before. -
