TS3694 error 1015 how do i fix it?
i just updated my iphone 3G from 4.1 to 4.2. Updating was almost done when an error occured, it was error 1015. how could i fix and restore my iphone?

The required resource cannot be found: This alert message occurs when your device has a newer version of iOS than what is available in iTunes. When troubleshooting a device that presents this alert message, go to Settings > General > About and check the version of iOS on the device. Error 1015: This error is typically caused by attempts to downgrade the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch's software. This can occur when you attempt to restore using an older .ipsw file. Downgrading to a previous version is not supported. To resolve this issue, attempt to restore with the latest iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch software available from Apple. This error can also occur when an unauthorized modification of the iOS has occurred and you are now trying to restore to an authorized, default state.

EDIT: Also, if it is actually showing the iOS that you describe, then that's a huge problem. 3G has a maximum iOS of 4.2.1, anything else is a jailbreak.
EDIT 2: Just like KiltedTim said... It's jailbroken, you got scammed, go get your money back.

First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes." -

iTunes is a part of iOS on your iPhone. If your iPhone can turn on, iTunes is already there. You cannot separately download iTunes to iPhone; you would have to update iOS to get a fresh copy. -
Weird error message- how do I fix
I keep getting this error message when trying to sync music purchased online to my Zen Vision M:?"It is not possible to obtain device's certificate. Please contact the device manufacturer for a firmware update or for other steps to resolve this problem."?The music has been downloaded from a few different sites. I used to never have a problem with any of this music until I upgraded to WMP . I even uninstalled it and reinstalled it the other day to make sure I didnt have a beta version. ?Can anyone help??Thanks

I am unable to update any add-ons at all. Every time I try and install an add-on or even the new "show hidden add-ons" add-on, I get a server error. How do I fix this?
You may have triggered some intermittent database issues but it should be running smooth by now. Let us know if you still see server errors.

I can't log in to game centre but I can log into iTunes. I recently changed my password. I checked the troubleshooter and am getting the message regarding server error but how do I fix this? It doesn't specify this in that article. I don't have firewalls

Since the last update my i tunes wont launch it just give error message Error 7 (Windows error 127) how do i fix it please?
Like many others I have been reading about online I am having the same error. I tried the fix listed above and simply wasted 30 minutes of my time. I scheduled a time for Apple to call and help me through this and their solution was for me to call Microsoft for some reason?!! iTunes made me upgrade then stopped working - I really don't see how this is a Microsoft problem??
Like Darren if a solution is not found quickly I will also have to sell my phone as the only way to get videos and music on my phone is through the software that you made me upgrade, broke and won't help me fix. -
