  • IPhone 4 unable to repair error code 2001

    Hi,
Recently i plugged my iphone 4 in to recharge at night while i went to sleep.
I woke up and saw my iphone rebooting over and over again, when i disconnected it from the power outlet it went all black doing nothing at all.
So i went to plug it in my macbook pro on usb, it started rebooting with the apple logo again ( over and over ).
i read on the internet to put it in recovery mode, so i did and was thinking thank god i can recover it.
Everytime i try to recover my iphone 4 i get a error code 2001 sometimes 2006.
So i read on the apple website to try remove every usb device exept my iphone and try to remove battery of my macbook pro and restart.
Nothing seems to work, it just keeps failing to recover.
Any advice what might work?, or what i shoeld do?
    Thanks.

  • How do I get rid of error code 2001/2006? My phone is in recovery mode. I have tried several different cords, all USB ports, my macbook, and a friends PC. This is the second time my phone has done this, the first time it was an easy fix.

I have an iPhone 4. It is in great condition, always protected. A couple months ago, it randomly went black and wouldn't turn on. I put it in recovery mode, plugged it in to my MacBook Pro and would get error code 2001 then I'd get error code 2006. I read some different forums and many people said to try using a different USB port and different cords. The last cord I tried, worked and my phone was back. Last night, my phone did the same exact thing. So I used the same method I used last time, however nothing has worked. I tried plugging it in to a PC and that didn't work either. This seems like a hopeless problem that's going to continue to happen. Any advice?

Soooooooo.... You obviously need to restore the device
It seems that you have tried several options to restore it. What I would do is leave it plugged it and hold down the Home button AND the Power button together till you see the white apple appears. Then let go of the Power button but continue to hold the home button. You should get the message in iTunes again saying that the iPhone needs to be restored. Hit OK then RESTORE.
    Hope this helps!!

  • Getting Error code 2001 in Hyperion Workspace 11.1.1.2

    Hi,
I have installed a Hyperion 11.1.1.2 setup with Sharedservice, Workspace and Reporting and Analysis services. I have a BQY dashboard, which contacts the database server from Workspace.
In the Workspace Service Configurator, I am not able to see 'Local Service Configurator' link which used to be in 9.3.1. Is this removed?
Then I defined my data source, in RSC - Remote Service Configurator, by logging in as localhost and User/pass.
But even on setting this and restarting, republishing the dashboard and oce connection file, when I hit refresh button to refresh the data in the dashboard, still I am getting the error:
"An Interactive Reporting Service error has occurred - Failed to acquire requested service. Error Code : 2001"
Is there anything changed in 11.1.1.2?
Anyways to check the configuration, see more logs where it is failing?
Any suggestions to resolve this will be really helpful.
    Thanks in Advance!
    Sriram

    Hi Gerd,
Thanks so much for that pointer. I started the Workspace UI Agent and accessed the URL: http://<machine URL>:55000/cmc and in the DAS service added my database connectivity.
    It worked!
    Thanks Again!

  • Facebook Issue 12-20-2012: Facebook App Returns Error Codes 2001 - 3799

Currently the Facebook application for BlackBerry is experiencing a problem where the application returns an Error Code 2001 through 3799.  This issue is currently being looked into and hopefully a resolution will be found soon.  Until then, here is a bit of information on the issue:
This error is caused by a Facebook server error (API errors) and is not an error on the BlackBerry server side.
See the following KB for more info:  http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB25378
Again, from what I've been told the issue is being worked on.  Right now the workaround is to use WiFi (you may have to turn off the mobile network completely.) For some reason the mobile network connection to FaceBook isn't working as expected.
I will post more details once they become available.

  • HT201210 Iphone 5 repeating apple logo. Error Code 2001.

Iphone 5 just went blank overnight. Won't boot up, simply displays apple logo on and off repeatedly.
Tried Recovery mode and all the steps from apple.  Itunes will not restore it but gives the Error code 2001.
    Help!

This error could also be hardware related:

To narrow down the issue, you can also change up your hardware:

Try a different dock connector (or no dock).
Add (or remove) a USB hub between your device and computer.

  • HT201263 Error code 2001 on iPhone 4s

My wifes phone got wet in my pocket. tried to reset and i keep getting an error code 2001 from iTunes.  apple store won't touch it because they think i have submersed it in water. Can anyone help before i do throw it in a river

First make sure the iPhone is dry, dry n a sealed container with uncooked rice for a week and periodically change the rice.
    - Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
    Check your USB connections
    Related errors: 13, 14, 1600, 1601, 1602, 1603, 1604, 1611, 1643-1650, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2009, 4005, 4013, 4014, or “invalid response."
If the USB connection between your device and computer is interrupted, you may be unable to update or restore.
To narrow down the issue, you can also change up your hardware:
Use the USB cable that came with your device, or a different Apple USB cable.
Plug your cable into a different USB port directly on your computer. Don't plug it into your keyboard.
    Try a different computer.
If necessary, resolve any further issues with the USB connection, then with your security software.
If you're still seeing the error message, check for hardware issues by following the next section.

Check that your security software and settings aren't preventing your device from communicating with the Apple update server.
Then try to restore your iOS device two more times while connected with a cable, computer, and network you know are good.
