Install the latest version of iTunes.
Check security software. Ensure that communication to gs.apple.com is allowed. Follow this article for assistance with security software. iTunes for Windows: Troubleshooting security software issues.
Check the hosts file. The restore will fail if there is an active entry to redirect gs.apple.com. FollowiTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting to edit the hosts file or revert to a default hosts file. See section "Blocked by configuration: (Mac OS X/Windows) > Rebuild network information".
Try to restore from another known-good computer and network.
If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service.

I have this problem every time when I open my computer; Photos for the iCloud account cannot be accessed. Review your account information in System Preferences.

Try a restart.
Do a backup, using either Time Machine or a cloning program, to ensure files/data can be recovered. Two backups are better than one.
Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. If Back-to-My Mac is selected in System Preferences, the Guest account will not work. The intent is to see if it is specific to one account or a system wide problem. This account can be deleted later.
Isolating an issue by using another user account
If the problem is still there, try booting into the Safe Mode using your normal account. Disconnect all peripherals except those needed for the test. Shut down the computer and then power it back up after waiting 10 seconds. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the shift key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear. The boot up is significantly slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a directory check, and disables all startup and login items, among other things. When you reboot normally, the initial reboot may be slower than normal. If the system operates normally, there may be 3rd party applications which are causing a problem. Try deleting/disabling the third party applications after a restart by using the application un-installer. For each disable/delete, you will need to restart if you don't do them all at once.

I have been having this problem many times ever since I updated to iOS 7.

My music will not sync and it's really annoying. I have tried many things but nothing will work. I even restored my iPod and still nothing. I don't know if its my iPod or just my iTunes. Only the individual that set the restrictions passcode knows what it is.
If you do not know it or have forgotten it, put the device in DFU mode (google it) and restore as new.

HT4623 I keep trying to update my iphone with 10.6.3 but what I do is not working and I'm a dork in this system.

My "device" no longer appears when I go into Itunes. It says I need to update to 10.6.3 but when I go under help and ask for updates. It shows me the update and I press to download and nothing happens.

It is telling you that you need itunes 10.6.3 on your COMPTUER, NOT your iphone.

Go to your Google translate bookmark.
Type in a word then tap whatever language.
Make a select for the language to be translated to by tapping Dutch (or whatever language you see in the box all the way to the right. You should see a language menu.

MSN's latest update is crashing Firefox many times per day. When I try to send the crash report to Firefox, it says it has trouble sending the report. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a setting that can help?

Firefox is crashing every time I have my MSN email account up. (Since I use it for business, that's many times per day.) It seems to coincide with hotmail's latest update where the email is checked and downloaded to the inbox automatically. Then when it asks me if I want to send the crash report to Firefox, I select yes and it tells me it had trouble sending the report. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a setting I can change? I can't seem to keep my email account up for more than 10 minutes.
p.s if you're reading this Microsoft, it's still not bad enough to make me to go back to Internet Explorer!

Seems unfair... I thought I was probalby having a router problem... got a new router this week. Thst's when we realized we have a computer problem. My next door nieghbor got zero sleep staying up all night while trying to help us figure out what the problem could be. He said if it were him he would have returned the iMac / Lion.
