Trying to restore my iphone 4 but i keep getting an error (2001).
The phone will only stay on when it is plugged in and it is the screen that says to plug in to itunes. I get the error 2001 when it begins to restore and sets me back to the beginning. ive tried to hard restart it but i cant unplug it or it turns off.

i have tried different things but as yet i havent found a complete solution.i have ran diagnostics, the optic drive seems fine.i can burn some cd's but not others.i would just like to know what is the EXACT criteria for a successful burn..is it to do with characters ?,!/ etc or is it to do with folder location.any advice or help/direction would be greatly appreciated...

Check for hardware issues
Try to restore your iOS device two more times while connected with a cable, computer, and network you know are good. Also, confirm your security software and settings are allowing communication between your device and update servers. If you still see the alert when you update or restore, contact Apple support.
Common errors: 1, 10-47, 1002, 1011, 1012, 1014, 1000-1020.

im trying to restore my iphone but i keep getting the error 3014 and im at a loss at what to do
1. Connect your iPhone to the computer and start iTunes.
2. Turn off your iPhone by holding down the Sleep button and slide to power off.
3. Press and hold down the Sleep button and Home button simultaneously.
4. After 10 seconds release the Sleep button but continue to hold the Home button down.
5. iTunes will pop up a window that says it has "detected an iPhone in recovery mode."
Your device is now in DFU mode and can be restored using iTunes. The iPhone screen will remain black until iTunes restores the iPhone. -

I have erased everything buit that didn't work, I have tried to reinstall from the apple disk so...I am thinking it is time for a new hard drive( I think, but not sure) where do I get one and if I sdo will it help the problem?

1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
*Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
3. Click the Erase tab.
4. Click the disclosure triangle to the left of the hard drive icon to display the names of your hard disk volumes and partitions.
5. Select your Mac OS X volume.
6. Highlight the drive, select Partition Tab, then Format type... MacOS Extended Journalled, select the Security Options button, choose Zero Out Data, Erase... after completion hopefully you'll be able to install.

I am trying to re install snow leopard but i keep getting an error saying unable to reinstall
I am trying to revert back from Lion to Snow Leopard as i am not that happy with Lion yet.
Everytime i place the Snow Leopard DVD in & restart & press "C" after around 5 mins i get a screen propt saying unable to reinstall apple operating system

N66Do you have another drive you can install SL on? If so, you can try installing SL on a 2nd drive, boot from that drive and use Migration Assistant to move your Apps and Data back from your Lion disk. I have not tried this, but see no reason why it should not work.

I am using iPhoto and am haing difficulty adding my pictures to FB. Each time I try to load picture I get an error message. (facebookErrDomainerror10000.) It doesn't matter if I try to download only on or many pictures. Can someone help me to fix this?

I am trying to activate my iPhone 4 via iTunes but i keep getting the error (1) message at the end of the restore. I believe my iphone has to be in DFU mode but i already tried that and same thing. Does anyone have any suggestions?
The error is just a simple error message just like (1013) instead it says (1). The iPhone I am trying to activate has been activated before I just currently have no service and I think that activating it will solve the problem. I just can't restore through iTunes because it won't finish. I get the message every time I try to restore.

Hi all, im trying to restore my iphone 4S, however i keep getting error 1611 i have tried uninstalling itunes and everything else related, i have tried kicking the iphone out of recovery mode but then it gets stuck on the apple logo for a few seconds then changes to the low battery symbol then goes back to the apple logo and this continues untill i put it back into recovery or dfu mode, i have tried everything can anyone help me ?? thank you!

Have you tried scanning the source image? Disk Utility > Images menu > Scan Image for Restore…
