I have an old iphone 2g/3g. However I dont use it as a phone but as an ipod. Since its the oldest version, I tried updating it to the newest version that all the iphones seem to have. I tried to restore it but now it's stuck on the connect to itunes menu. An error appeared with the error #: 1015. What should I do. Getting a new one is not the answer Im looking for. What should I do?
The 3G stops at iOS 4.2.1 does not support abve that level .

Thank you for your reply, I did go to my general settings, but for some odd reason I don't have a restrictions setting, or a reset setting. I thought I could reset all the setting to see if it could be that, but as I said there aren't any.
My husband also has the iPad 2, and also did the software update and hasn't had any problems at all. I took both iPad's and compared the settings thinking maybe there could be a setting that could have been changed when the update was done. -
I started update connected to my work computer....it started update and now it is asking me to connect to Itunes, which I have but my work computer doesn't have my Iphone information, it says I have the latest software, my only option is to "restore phone" which I don't want to do here at work as none of my apps or music are showing up ..... I can't use my phone now when I start up it says connect to itunes.....

I am using CUIT to write automated UI test cases. I have a dialog containing few edit control and buttons.
While running the test it is able to click the button.
However I am getting few warnings as below.

From these warning message as you provide, I doubt that maybe the button control did not be found successfully by the searchproperties when you playback the Coded UI test.
So I suggest you can try to use DrawHighlight Method to check if the button control
is found before you perform actions on the button target control.
(2)I suggest you can try to use
FindMatchingControls Method on the button control to check if there are more than one control which matches the specified searchproperties and filterproperties.
In addition, as you said that you are using CUIT to write automated UI test. it means that you record the UI action by handing code, am I right?
If yes, I suggest that you can create a simple coded UI test through recording actions using Coded UI Test Builder. Then
generate the code and then try to playback. If playback succeeds, then cross check the properties from UIMap.Designer.cs file. You can reference the code about entering values in the text edit in the UIMap.Designer.cs file to write
your own code.

I have just downloaded iOS 7.0.2 to my iPhone, but now I am stuck in the icloud agree to terms & conditions, i press agree and nothing happens, it just says confirm, I press agree again and nothing, which means I am locked out! Any ideas

I am trying to update my Iphone 3 and when i get to the activation step after a few minutes it shows a message that says " Your iPhone could not be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailable. Try conenecting your iPhone to iTunes to activate it, or try again in a couple of minutes.

I have recently updated my macs software then been onto Photo Booth and realised that all of my pictures/videos have been deleted and are not in iPhoto? my ipad 2 is "stuck" with a connect to itunes on the screen ... and itunes says it could not restore the os ... so now itunes does not recognize the ipad when connected to the pc ...i have updates all the software on the pc and disabled Norton as the troubleshoot instructions suggested; however itunes still does not recognize the ipad .... help!

Hi I just upgraded software through iTunes then unplugged iPhone now it is stuck on the connect to intunes screen, it won't turn off and iTunes and my computer won't recognize my phone? Please help
My phone is doing the same thing. My computer acknowledges that I have connected my iPhone 4, however, iTunes will no longer connect or sync to my iPhone 4. I have uninstalled iTunes, Bonjour and all Apple products from my pc. I have re-installed them back on. I have reset my phone. I have emptied my temp folder. I have done everything. If my iPhone cannot update and sync with iTunes then I may as well get another phone from somewhere else. I am disappointed that I cannot resolve this issue.

I did a reset on my iphone 4.. now it's stuck on the connect to itunes screen.. I have tried EVERY troubleshooting thing on the apple site. I've reinstalled to a later date of itunes. I've rebooted.. please HELP!! iTunes stopped recognising my iPhone after I undated hence the reverte back to an older iTunes version. My phone's cord is fine it will charge in the wall on the dock as well iTunes just isn't recognising it?!?!
iTunes will also NOT recognize my iPod Touch.. I've reinstalled iTunes several times on all THREE of my computers to the same result.. I'm going insane.. The newest iTunes has made it a real hassle!! Before I updated my iTunes both connected just FINE!! Now neither my computers (3 of them) or iTunes will recognize the iphone4, or the iPod Touch. i want to update my phone, but i purchased many apps and music on the phone. it won't let me authorize my computer so i cannot update. i don't want to deauthorize all my computers. how can i find out which 5 computers i have authorized? also how can i update the software?
This is a tedious solution, which is stupid! And some users report an inability to reauthorize a computer after an "en masse” deauthorization. I can’t believe Apple doesn’t provide a list or menu to find out which computers you’ve authorized! Obviously, APPLE knows (or else they couldn’t tell us how many computers we have authorized)--so why can’t they give us access to that information about our own computers??!!!
And for an already-authorized computer with a hard drive that’s since been replaced and upgraded from Mavericks to Yosemite, would it be recognized as a “new computer” and require authorization? Would its previous incarnation (i.e., with the old hard drive and OS) be considered a separate computer? Some users report they can’t authorize a computer after an OS upgrade because of that. Can’t believe we have to do such a bass-ackwards kludge! -
my new iphone 4 is stuck with "USB connect to itunes". I put it in recovery mode last night. Itunes recognizes the phone and says it's in recovery mode, but when I do a restore, nothing changes.
it says "itunes has detected an iphone in recovery mode. you must restore this iphone before it can be used with itunes." I click OK
then I click the restore button
Then the box says "Are you sure you want to restore the iphone to it's factory settings? all of your.....etc." I click Restore and Update
then it goes into software update
at the end of the software update it says "Itunes has detected an iphone in recovery mode...."
All this time, the screen of the iphone stays on with USB to Itunes
I might add that while the phone was in it's first attempt at recovery mode, it was accidentally unplugged.
