My iphone 5 became dead during working. I have tried all the possibilities but with no success. Nothing appears when we connect it with itunes. I have even tried pressing home and switch button together. Kindly help me.
Are you sure that it has a charge? Try leaving it connected to it's wall charger for a while and then see if it will start up.
Best of luck. -
Hi. My Ipod Touch switched off in the gym during exercise (got wet or battery wend down). I tried all the troubleshooting hints but nothing helps. It is not responding, not charging and is completely dead. I tried various charging from different sourches but nothing happens.
Any advice please? If you tried everythng here then it is time for an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. It appears you have a hardware problem.

IPhone5 hangs during updating process of apps.
when updating apps, my iphone5 hangs for about 10 minutes and resets itself.
Nothing i can do, not even a soft reset, as it's going to do it anyway!
often, it continues the updates where it left off (or even starts again), and does the same thing up to 5 times until the app(s) update.
It's infuriating and is killing my battery and my life! LoL
any ideas?
cheers.
Mitchum. It would appear the iOS' multitasking capabilities leave much to be desired. Try with one at a time instead of the Update All button.
Or better yet, do it in the computer-based iTunes setup you have your phone associated with. On a real kosher OS such as Mac OS X or Windows, multitasking works for real and all your apps get updated by iTunes pronto. Then just sync the phone with it and you're golden. Side benefit: you won't get the awful "updated on mm/dd/yy" list of all the apps from the past. -

How can i retrieve purchased audiobooks that were not synced (problem encountered during sync process)? My account shows the purchase history, but the apps are no longer displayed in itunes or on my ipad or iphone. I'm not very savvy with using iTunes - I don't think is very intuitive (unlike me:)). Any help would be appreciated.

My iphone 4 has died and says connect to itunes. itunes restore wont work, error message 2001, then 2006 appears.Tried all the troubleshooting help, but nothing works. Any ideas???
I solved my own problem. Hopefully this will help someone else.
I did a DFU restore, then started it up as a new phone on iTunes. Everything loaded properly, then from iTunes did a restore from backup, selected the one I wanted and it still took me to the same screen with 3 options of restore. I chose the start up as new phone from the actual phone and after all the syncing was completed, my phone is back in working order. -

Hi chiekoo,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
For more information on this, take a look at this article:
iTunes: Specific update-and-restore error messages and advanced troubleshooting
http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3694#error21
Error 20, 21, 23, 26, 28, 29, 34, 36, 37, 40
These errors typically occur when security software interferes with the restore and update process. FollowTroubleshooting security software issues to resolve this issue. In rare cases, these errors may be a hardware issue. If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service.
Also, check your hosts file to verify that it's not blocking iTunes from communicating with the update server. See iTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting—follow steps under the heading Blocked by configuration (Mac OS X / Windows) > Rebuild network information > Mac OS X > The hosts file may also be blocking the iTunes Store. If you have software used to perform unauthorized modifications to the iOS device, uninstall this software prior to editing the hosts file to prevent that software from automatically modifying the hosts file again on restart.
Best of luck,

I recently picked up a new iPhone6. Before i handed in my old phone(iphone5), I backed it up using iCloud.
Now I can't seem to get the photos from my old camera roll onto my new phone or my Mac. Did I lose all
the photos from my old phone?1. Create a backup of your iPad to iTunes on your computer or to iCloud
2. Transfer any and all photos & videos on your iPad to your computer.
3. Erase the iPad and restore the iPhone's iCloud backup to the device.
4. Transfer any and all photos & videos on your iPad to your computer.
5. Restore the iPad backup you reated in step #1 back to the iPad. -
Been trying to restore Ipod touch for days after updating Itunes. Error code #9. Stuck on restore screen. Tried all the solutions posted. Tried on 2 computers, Vista + XP. No device shown on computer. Thanks Apple! Didn't have this problem before update. How about rolling back your update?
Error 9
This error occurs when the device unexpectedly loses its USB connection with iTunes. This can occur if you manually disconnect the device during the restore process. You can resolve this issue by using USB troubleshooting, using a different Dock Connector or Lightning Connector to USB cable, trying another USB port, restoring on another computer, or by eliminating conflicts from third-party security software. -
I lost my iPod touch and bought a new one? Is there a way to transfer all the songs I have in iTunes onto the new iPod? I am scared I will lose it all when I sync the new one or that I have to start all over. Please help!!
You can do better than that. You can click on the Restore button that appears under your device in iTunes. This will restore your iPod to factory settings as if it were fresh out of the box. But don't worry. By doing a restore, you will then be given the option to "Restore from Backup." This will allow you to restore the state of your previous iPod!!

I was enlarging pictures on Facebook to full screen. When i went to move on. All my tool bars and my task bar have disappeared. I have tried all the suggestions on this site to no avail. I don't know how to do a system restore without my task bar, and don't want to lose my book marks. Please help, i can't grt to my important favorite sites.
Can you launch a new window (Ctrl+n for a normal window, Ctrl+Shift+p for a private window) that has the usual complement of toolbars? If a new window also is missing bars, try using the View menu > Toolbars list to restore them. If the classic menu bar is not displayed, usually tapping the Alt key or the F10 key will show it temporarily.
