I started to update my phone and now all I get on the screen is the iTunes logo........

Recently updated the the apple tv remote app for my iPhone4. Now can no longer turn on the apple tv "box" on/off using iPhone app as I used to do before the update. One clue: I have found a reliable way to solve the problem when it happens.
In my network, I have the main Airport Extreme (Gen 1) which is connected to my router, which distributes IP addresses to my internal subnet. The other two AEs (one Gen 4, one Gen 5) are set to extend the network.
When I get this problem with an AppleTV 2 that can "see" my library, but when I try to open it, it says it couldn't find the library, it seems to have to do with a change in which Airport Extreme it's talking to.
If I restart the main Airport Extreme from the Airport Utility, effectively restarting the entire wireless network, then when the network resumes, every AppleTV 2 is happy again.
Unfortuntely, the problem does seem to recur - but I'm wondering if it's because temporary interference leads an AppleTV 2 to try to connect to a different AE, and somehow that's mucking with the Home Sharing. Remember, internet access (Trailers, Store, Netflix) have no issues. Purely Home Sharing.

My Iphone 4s just stopped during the latest update and now the screen show the Apple icon and an white bar beneath. I can no longer get anything to work on the phone!! Where to from here??
You can not merge accounts.
Apps are tied to the Apple ID used to download them, you can not transfer them. -
I recently tried to update my iPhone 3 software via my mothers Mac book comp - during the upgrade I lost all my music and calendar dates and now the iTunes on my phone has my mothers iTunes detail - how do I get all my info back on the phone?
Restore it using the computer you normally sync with.

i did the ios5.1.1 update and now the volume on my phone doesn't appear when i push the buttons on the side of the phone. occasionally i see them, but my speakers won't work for playing videos or music either. it does ring when i receive a call though, and for my alarm. ne1 else had these problems?
I have had this happen to me on 3GS, 4 and 4s. Usually the solution is one of the following:
1- If your volume indicator says headphones even though they are not plugged in, then:
Stick your headphones into the headphone jack and then remove quickly.
2. If that does not work Power your phone off. Then when restarting Reset the phone by pressing the home button and the power button at the same time until the apple logo appears.
3. Make sure you have not chosen to send audio to an Airplay device such as Apple Tv.

Check the hosts file or TCP/IP filtering, which might cause communication issues between iTunes, ports, and servers.

What if my ipod touch 4th generation can't update and now the only option is to restore it.
And i don't know what happens if i press restore?
Will it show my back up and back it up or what?
And if that does happen will all my pictures stil be there?

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

Either a PC or Mac work the same.

I recently did an apps update and now the update is locked and I have 15 apps I can't open. Any ideas on what may have caused this and to fix it?
If Ralph's suggestion doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore (or it doesn't help), go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. You WILL lose all of your data (game scores, etc,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without being charged again. Also, if you have IOS-7, read this. -

Well I am having the same issue and I had not had to worry about getting a "licensed charger." The poster who responded offered not real insite and was rude to boot. I am also looking for the fix on this . My iphone will not even charge now on any charger. What the heck. I am not trying to treaten anyone either when I say I am frustrated with my iphone which in my case I have only had for a few months. Tried updating my iPad2 with the most recent update and now it is saying that I have to connect to iTunes and restore my Ipad2, what happened? Did I lose all my stuff that I had on it?
FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY.
