This was stated in the release log, that you CANNOT downgrade using these betas AND the GM.

Never mind I fixed it. Just in case anyone else has this problem, after you reinstall iTunes you have to delete all your old music, and if you have iTunes match all the songs you have saved on itunes match will display and you just have to download them to your Macbook.

Vk2mh it sounds like the download was not complete or corrupted. Where are you downloading the update from? Have you tried downloading again?

The "s" in "https" indicates the site is a secure server--usually a site that will require a password. Connections to secure servers can be blocked by parental controls. Are you using any parental controls, either through OSX's settings (in System Preferences) or third party parental control software (such as Netnanny)? If so, check the settings to make sure they will allow the connection.

When I am on facebook I continually get a syntax error message which keeps coming back. I have checked my settings and enabled java script but doesnt help.

I can access my facebook account with no trouble, but once facebook is loaded I repeatedly get an error message; syntax error. The words 'Java Script application' are in the bar across the top of the message. It comes up many times and completely disrupts what I am doing. I am wondering if ot has something to do with the adverts in the side bar of each page that I open in facebook. What's the precise text of that message, please? (There's a few different ones I can think of that you might be getting.)

I have a 16GB San Disc that when more than half full and trying to transfer the images to the iPhoto library I get the message "communication error". How can I update my computers software to be SDHC compatable? I can buy a card reader but thought an update to the software would fix this problem.

I am not familiar with Flickr, but found their support page at <Flickr Support>. You may get better help there than here. I get the impression that the App is somewhat buggy.

I keep getting the error message "The operation can't be completed because you don't have permission to access some of the items."

When I try and move an application to my application folder from the installer and when I try to empty the trash, I get the error message, "The operation can’t be completed because you don’t have permission to access some of the items." This has only been an issue since I upgraded to Lion. I'm using a July '07 white Macbook 2.16 Intel Core 2 Duo. In my trash I only have an older version of a software that I updated (Divy). The software I'm trying to install is Angry Birds Rio.

Try logging in to the guest account as well to see if you have the same problems there, it might be a logging in issue.

Our 30 new iPhone 5S came with iOS 7.1.1.

The fact that the OS requires 3.8GB of storage is ridiculous to begin with. Especially when they know there are a ton of 16GB models out there. Clearly another big brother attempt by Apple to force new iPhone sales which amazes me beyond description. If I experience pain with a product, I'm not going to buy another one and "hope" the problems go away. I'm going to buy a competitor's product. Apparently the lemmings keep following the herd or Apple couldn't continue these strong arm tactics. I'll stay on iOS 6.x until I'm ready for a new phone then...by another manufacturer.
