I am trying to restore my i phone so we can use it as a i pod since my kiddo doesn't need this great of technology. I went to a guyto fix it and now my i phone wont sync it says I can't restore it and it wont find a wi fi network.

Error 1004, 1013, 1638, 3014, 3194: These errors may be the result of the connection to gs.apple.com being redirected or blocked. Follow these steps to resolve these errors:
Install the latest version of iTunes.
Check security software and ensure that communication to gs.apple.com is allowed. Follow these stepsfor assistance with security software.
Check the hosts file. The restore will fail if there is an active entry to redirect gs.apple.com. Follow theadvanced iTunes Store troubleshooting steps to edit the hosts file or revert to a default hosts file. See "Blocked by configuration: (Mac OS X/Windows) > Rebuild network information."

This will cause iTunes to download a new copy of the IPSW. When a restore issue is specific to a user, it is likely due to an unusable .ipsw file. If removing the .ipsw file does not resolve a user-specific restore issue, then the issue is caused by other user-specific security software settings or iTunes preferences. Basically, it says that your antivirus or firewall is preventing iTunes from updating your phone. Try disabling them. It may also be necessary to delete the possibly corrupt .ipsw file. That's described under Advanced Steps in TS3694.

i cannot recover or restore my ipad it gives me a error code 3004.

Errors 3000-3999 (3004, 3013, 3018, 3164, 3194, and so on): Error codes in the 3000 range generally mean that iTunes can't contact the update server (gs.apple.com) on ports 80 or 443.
Update to the latest version of iTunes.
Verify the computer's date and time are accurate.
Check that your security or firewall software isn't interfering with ports 80 or 443 or with the server gs.apple.com.
Follow these steps to troubleshoot security software. Often, uninstalling third-party security software will resolve these errors.
An entry in your hosts file may be redirecting requests to gs.apple.com (go to "Unable to contact the iOS software update server gs.apple.com" above).
Internet proxy settings can cause this issue. If you're using a proxy, try again without using a proxy.
Test restoring while connected to a known-good network.

Error Code (-1) Can't Restore iPad

Tried updating to the latest OS. It failed and itunes says iPad needs to be restored. Tried restoring and get error code (-1). tried restoring again. It goes through the restore process, completes, then says it needs to be restored (as if that's not what I just did). So I try again and get error code (-1)
I have:
Restarted the pc
Restarted the ipad
Hard reset
Uninstalled and reinstalled the latest itunes
Tried all the different usb ports
Created a new user for the pc
none of which works... still getting the same error or it just finishes and states that it needs to be restored
This is a freshly unboxed iPad 32GB wifi (original ipad) that was given as a replacement for another non functioning ipad
called customer service (the guy was patient and very friendly by the way) but they were unable to find any info on an error code (-1).
Has anyone else received this error code or heard of it? anyone know a cause or a fix?

If you can't update or restore your iPad: Press and hold down the home button for five (5) seconds, then (without letting go of the home button) hold on to the sleep button until the apple sign shows up on your screen, and finally (still holding on to the home button) let go of the sleep button, and in a few seconds the image with a USB cable and the iTunes logo should appear.
This process puts your iPad into DUI mode which means that it has been un-bricked and should work properly once you put it into iTunes. Keep in mind though: it won't start up untill you plug it into your computer, let it start up, and sync it to get everything you need.

Note: If your iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch ever crash and refuse to work; you can do this process at any time to get it going again. If you're running iOS 5 you don't need to connect it to a computer at all, just configure your device like you did when you installed the software for the first time.

phone is stuck in recovery mode i connect iphone 4s to desktop by usb open itunes and hit run recovery mode and it does then stops and say error 14 cannot not complete recovery mode.

HT4528 disabled iphone and attempting to restore. itunes error code 3194 can not restore

I have FPC X 10.1.3 and Yosemite. Thanks for your concern but i solved my problem. I created new library and copied event in new library.
Everything is back to normal now. The share button lives again.
