please help, one day i went to turn on my ipad and the screen came up to connect to itunes. I have done that and it wants me to restore. i try to restore but then the error msg 3194 comes up...

    4.3.5 is the current version, so that is the version that iTunes will download, not 4.3.3

    Downgrading to a previous version of iOS is not supported.     As long as that junk is installed you really can't begin to figure out what's wrong.
    You wrote you tried to repair the startup volume using Disk Utility. Did you do that after starting your Mac with OS X Recovery, and did it report any errors? Random freezes associated with disk access such as playing iTunes music would be a symptom of disk failure. Make sure you have adequate backups.
