Also, using an older or modified .ipsw file can cause this issue. Try moving the current .ipsw file, or try restoring in a new user to ensure that iTunes downloads a new .ipsw.

Unable to restore iOS 7.0.4 in a ipad with 3004 and 3194 Error

I've been trying to restore my ipad to iOS 7.0.4 for 3 days (I really mean it) but I just get Error 3004 or 3194 continuely.
These are things I have tried :
1 - Check the windows host file ( put the gs.apple.com , remove it , test with different IPs , blank it , even delete it and etc .. )
2 - Test with different itunes versions
3 - Test with different computers
4 - Test with different internet providers
5 - Test with Proxy , VPN etc.
6 - Check, change and test with different options in internet options.
7 - I'm sure about my internet connectivity.
8 - Test all the above tests in both normal and DFU mode.
but I still get the same error again and again . I actually open gs.apple.com in the browser with no problem and fast.
the error appears when I choose the iOS ( with shift + click on the restore button ) and after extracting section.

I keep getting error 3004 when i try restoring and updateing my iphone 4 to iOS 7 i did everything 1. flushed dns 2. edited hosts 3. updated itunes and downloaded new one 4. switched usb ports 5. disabled antivirus 6. enabled ports 80 and 443 7. disabled firewall 8. even tryed putting mobile in DFU mode to restore it not of this worked so please help me

I tried updating my iPhone 4 to iOS 5, when I try to restore I keep getting error 3004!!!

Me too... and that seems to be a server error... Apple suggests to close itunes and try "dscacheutil -flushcache".

a guy on here said that message is bascically too many people trying to download it at the same time and to keep trying however if you find that it wont connect to itunes load up ect " wih eventually im sure you will " all you do is push and hole the lock and home button for 10 secs untill it turns off then hold the home button in and connect it to the computer with itunes open and it should display the arrow to connect to itunes and you can restore and start over.
