TS3772 Cannot sync my phone at all

My iphone 4s doesn't appear in iTunes when i a plug it into my computer. I have just been to the apple store today and received this phone to replace one that had a wifi problem after the iOS 7 update. This phone now has iOS 7.0.2. Any suggestions?

It sounds like your iPhone is not appearing in iTunes.  I recommend following the steps in this article to resolve the issue:

    Thank you so much for providing the details about the duplicate song issue you are experiencing.  It sounds like you would like to remove the duplicate songs that will not play on your iPhone, but when you connect it to iTunes, iTunes only shows you one copy of the song on your iPhone. 
    In this situation, I recommend deleting the individual songs that do not play directly from your iPhone.  I found the steps to do this on page 61 of the iPhone User Guide (http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/iphone_user_guide.pdf):
    Delete a song from iPhone: In Songs, swipe the song, then tap Delete.

    Use iPhone as designed. Like any digital camera, download your photos to your computer and delete from the iPhone to create space required for iOS upgrade.

    Sounds like their was some corruption that occured during the update. Have you tried connecting it to iTunes in recovery mode and restoring it from backup (or to factory settings if from a backup fails)?  Use the instructions in this article to walk you through placing your device in recovery mode.

    Otherwise, try DFU mode.

    There may be several that were bought with your Apple ID. but somewhere in the updates there must be one associated with that other ID.
    You can update one by one, until you find the one that requires the other Apple ID.

    Your phone is in recovery mode; connect it to a computer and use iTunes to restore it.

  • Tried downloading itunes version 11.4 and received an error code 2324. Now itunes will not work at all and I cannot sync my phone, ipad or ipod. How should I proceed?

    I have tried several times to load version 11.4 and keep getting an error code2324, now I cannot sync any of my apple products. I set my machine to a previous recover date,  now iTunes will not work at all. I get a message stating I do not have the administrator rights to download. Any thoughts on this issue?

    For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
    The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
    Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

    You don't. If you use a 3rd party to "fix it" or attempt to do it yourself, Apple will reject the return and charge you the full price of the phone as if you had not returned it at all.
    It's too late. You should have been backing up before it failed.

    Hello guys, I was able to successfully update my BlackBerry Curve 3G phone from version 5 to version 6. I love the new version of the BlackBerry OS. I was able to sync it using the BlackBerry Desktop Manager. However recently I'm encountering issues whenever I try to plugin my phone to my computer. Before when I plug it in, I receive a popup that asks me if I am going to charge the phone, sync it or use as a mass storage device. Now, I don't see that message or that popup. It only charges the phone and that's it. The BlackBerry Desktop manager says it's not connected. I even tried connecting the phone via Bluetooth, still no luck. I have tried to uninstall all of the USB devices using the Device Manager as well as installing the USB Drivers from the BlackBerry / RIM website. Still, I can't sync my phone. It just charges it. Btw, I don't see a "BlackBerry" device inside the Device Manager window. I tried using a different laptop, it only charges the phone and I receive a message "USB Device Not recognized." I tried uninstalling the Desktop Manager, USB Drivers fomr the RIM website and uninstalling all of the USB devices. Then after restarting the compute,r I decided to reinstall the Desktop Manager and the USB drivers from the RIM website. Still again, no luck. I can't sync my phone using both computers. Btw, my first computer cannot recognize the phone, it just charges it but it does not show a "USB Device not recognized." message. I'm thinking this issue happened after updating the BlackBerry System Software to a minor version via Desktop Manager. Becuase a few days ago I as able to use it to my computer. It's version 6.0.xxx something. Guys please help me out. I tweeted BlackBerry and they told me to contact my carrier. My Dad bought the phone from Abu Dhabi without any subscription to a specific carrier. So guys, how can I sync my files? I even tried on using the "calfix.exe" that connects the computer to the bootrom something of my BlackBerry phone but still It does not detect the phone. Thanks in advance and please help me out.

    First make sure you have the most recent version of Desktop Software installed. If you do and are still having the same issue on 2 separate PCs it looks like a device issue.
    Do you have a recent backup of your BlackBerry? You may want to try a clean reload of device software if the Update Software feature in the Desktop Software can connect to the device. If its unable to detect the device, try the following to reinstall the device software.
    First, make sure the device software is installed on your PC. You can download it from your wireless provider's download site in this list: http://bit.ly/cukObT
    1. Remove the battery from the BlackBerry. Do not re-insert.
    2. Connect the BlackBerry to the computer.
    3. Navigate to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader and launch Loader.exe
    4. Click Next. The Communication Port Selection screen appears.
    5. Click Next. The connection should change from COM to USB-PIN or USB-PIN Unknown.
    6. The Application Selection screen appears. Select the applications you want from the list of applications.
    7. Click Next then Click Finish.
    8. When the application load starts, insert the battery into the BlackBerry smartphone.
    You will then need to restore your personal data from a previously taken backup file as this procedure will remove all personal data.

    Does it hang halfway through? If this is your problem, I have an answer for you (given by wiclee, he's amazing.)
    First of all close iTunes and it's helper process (May have to force quit using taskmgr)
    Then
    Click: Start> More Programs> Accessories> Command Prompt (right click and run as Administrator.)
    Type the following:
    netsh winsock reset
    A dialogue box should appear
    "Windows Network Catalogue successfully reset"
    "Please restart your computer for changes to take effect."
    Restart computer and then go to iTunes.
    Everything should work from there.

    You need to buy and install a Mac OS X 10.6 DVD; once it's installed, run the Software Update pane of System Preferences twice.
    There is no other way to sync it, but content can be downloaded directly from the iTunes Store servers; for non-purchased music, this requires signing up for iTunes Match, which costs more than the DVD.

    I have had a total meltdown of my system and have had to rebuild my computer because of a lightning strike which took out my main computer and my backup system therefore I do not have a way to restore all of my old files. When I rebuilt my computer I decided to go with Windows 7 rather than staying with Windows Vista when I attach my Apple iPhone to the new computer and tried to sync it, it tells me that it wants to wipe out everything on my phone. My iPhone was backed up to the cloud but I do not see way to restore it from the cloud and I do not want to lose all of my apps and data that are on my iPhone. I have gone to the Apple online store to see if I could restore the apps that I have purchased from their and have not been able to find anything that relates to reinstalling all the apps that I have purchased as well as my bookmarks and addresses as well as a lot of the data in documents to go and do not want to lose them as it is the only place that I have them left. How do I do this without losing all of my apps and data that is on my iPhone?
    Please help out of this nightmare and keep me loyal to iPhone.

    Can someone please help.  My IPhoneS stopped working right after I did the latest update which was yesterday.  Now, the phone does not work at all.  When turned on, the screen shows a picture of USB cable pointing to the ITunes logo.  I have tried just about everything, and cannot get it working. It's like it is frozon.  My ITunes does not recognize my device.  Cannot dial out either. I desperately need to get it working.  Can someone please help me.

    The update did not do anything.
    AT&T cannot and will not do anything, they do not provide support for iPhones, Apple does.
    The issue is not with the iPhone or iOS if you've reset network settings and tried forgetting the Wi-Fi Network, it is specific to the network.
    Check the settings on the router, try disabling the security settings first... that will clarify the issue is not with the device but rather the Network.
