Since you are running Lion, you will not see Exposé & Spaces - they don't exist in Lion.
Their function, that of multiple desktop arrangements, has been replaced by Mission Control.
You may have accidentally set up Mission Control; or inadvertantly activated it. The latter is easy to do if you're using a Magic Mouse - a two-finger double-tap (not click) on the mouse will engage Mission Control.
The two-finger double-tap can be deactivated in System Preferences > Mouse > More Gestures. Uncheck the Mission Control item, and it won't respond that way to a two-finger double-tap again. You can then still access Mission Control via its icon in the Dock.
To get rid of extra desktops in Mission Control, activate Mission Control. Then hover the cursor over the desktop you'd like to remove; a circled-X will appear in one corner of that disktop - click it and that desktop will be removed. Any open program using that desktop will then be moved to another, yet-available desktop.
There is a control pane for Mission Control in System Preferences. Selecting that will allow you to make some settings re how Mission Control behaves, including the setting/clearing of a hot corner.

When I try to download a spreadsheet, document, or other item from a website, using either run or save, everything freezes up and no download occurs. Or sometimes the item will download in a nonsense jumble of numbers and letters. The same thing happens when I try to download an e-mail attachment from someone. Thing is, I can do all these things from Internet Explorer without problems. This has only happened within the past couple of months. Before that, I had no problems . What's happening?

Why all of the sudden does my cursor arrow disappear when not moving it

Just today my cursor diappears when I stop moving it whether I have my finger on the pad or not. Is this a firefox thing, cause I downloaded a Firefox yahoo toolbar today before noticing this.

i am having the same issues (maybe). I have the iPhone 3G S and my phone (out of no where) stopped responding to 3G signals. the edge network works fine. i called AT&T and they said that everything on their end was fine. i called apple and we tried everything (updating, restoring, turn on/off, etc). then i went to the apple store to get it replaced and because that 1 of 2 water sensors was a little red my warranty was voided. the people in apple tech support (on the phone) came to the conclusion that it may be that my 3G antenna stopped working. your best bet is to try and get your phone replaced via warranty. i, on the other hand am going to try to fix the problem manually. i'll let you know what i did to fix/break it. lol.

Keeps saying I need to download it when I already have!

I am trying to take a test online and it told me to download
the flash player. So I did -- several times because it wouldn't
work so I thought I needed to do it again b/c of something I did
wrong. Now I have 4 icons on desktop saying "install flash player
10 US". ?? And the last two times I did it it said with a green
checkmark..."installation complete!" And yet, it's still telling me
to download the flash player when I try to take my test!
I've called customer service and gone to the website for Macs
but that didn't work either. So I could use some help!

I have been having the same problem with flash player 9 for
months. This time I tried flash player 10 and the same thing is
happening. I've moved stuff into my applications folder to no
avail. I am using a Powerbook PowerPC G4 running OS 10.4.11

Okay, that's got one thing ruled out at least.
Can you check something for me, big? I'd like to see if iTunes launches with the Bonjour Service disabled.
In your Start menu, right-click Computer and select "Manage".
Expand "Services & Applications".
Open "Services". (Perhaps maximise the screen to better see what's going on.)
Right-click the Bonjour Service and select "Properties".
In the General tab, set the Startup type to "Disabled":

yes styles are applied. What does not show up are the container divs - they all have the thin purple borders.
The "Blog Lovers" image shows up but it is inside the #blogindex div - which seems to be invisible because the elements inside #blogindex div are just piled on top of each other. (see below html) This is now happening on all the pages of this site.
(I test a different site in DW and I was able to add divs and borders and content inside divs just fine.)

hmm, well I would say that raises the possibility of an issue with your ipad, and lessens one with your router.

When using Connection Doctor to see what is could be causing the issue, look for the red dots to let you know what is wrong. Then all you have to do is correct that information. You can double click on the section that is giving you issue and it will take you there. Most issues could be just password being entered incorrectly. Take a look at the article below to walk you through troubleshooting issues with Mail.

You might have Zoom on. To turn it off go to Settings>General>Accessibility>Zoom, set to Off. Double-tap with three fingers to zoom out and drag with three fingers to move the screen with zoom on.

Thanks everyone...the problem seem to be with the battery itself. I've had this phone for about 6 months. Up until a few days ago I had no problems...charge would last for up to 2 days. All of a sudden it draining like crazy. I ran batter doctor and closed everything that could drain the batter. Still no luck. Battery drained 3% in less then 10 minutes.
I've contacted our local Verizon store and they will take care of the problem.
I appreciate everyone's suggestions.
