TS3899 After deleting email to trash, email will reload again. How can this be fixed?
Email keeps reloading have being sent to trash. Help!
Go to Settings/Mail,Contacts,Calendars and tap on the name of the email account. Tap Advanced. Under "Deleted messages" tap Remove and set to one day. Then under Incoming Settings tap Delete from server and tap "When removed from Inbox."
Also, be aware that if you delete messages while messages are downloading the server will not be notified of the deletion, and those messages will come back. So wait until all messages are downloaded before deleting any.

(philipp)</sub>No. After I select "Choose" the dialog box expands to provide only three choices. This is a new bug. I have only seen it in the past week or so, but it is maddening. I have observed that, while the Mozilla Foundation focuses on trivialities like which search engine should be the default, the Firefox application becomes buggier and buggier. Most of my family has switched to Chrome, and I will be following shortly. Firefox used to be a great program. Not any more. Getting assistance with a problem has also become very difficult.

Songs still remain on my device even after I uncheck the songs in my library. How can this be fixed?
In music library I upload songs but some songs I uncheck in my library but they still remain on my device. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
One thing you can do is delete it from the device by sliding leftr on the song to make the delete icon apear and delete it there and also check the box in iTunes saying only sync checked songs and videos.

i Lost all color for all apps when n I update d to 8.1.1Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the reset.

My 2 TB Time Capsule’s memory is full because it will notautomatically delete old files as it is supposed to, so it is giving me zerobackup of my two computers now. How can this be fixed so my Time Capsule deletes the old data and savesthe new?
Neither my local computer consultant nor I have been ableto change any of the settings in Time Machine to correct this problem. Working with the choices in the TimeMachine, there does not appear that there is any way to change the frequency ofthe backups either, so, after a year has elapsed, the time capsule is full, andmy only choice appears to be to erase all the current data on the Time Capsuleand start over, something that I do not want to at all let alone repeat on anannual basis. My questions are:
What can be done to have my Time Capsule delete old filesas it is supposed to do, so it has memory available to allow my computers toback up?

Most likely, there just isn't room. Time Machine may be trying to do a very large (or full) backup of one or both Macs, and can't. Since it won't ever delete the most recent backup, there has to be enough room for one full backup plus whatever it's trying to back up now, plus 20% (for workspace).

Welcome to the Community!
We cannot install Adobe Bridge as a Standalone product, you can just reinstall Photoshop and Bridge will be reinstalled with it. Go ahead and start uninstalling CS5 suite but choose Photoshop from the list and the same will be applicable while Installation.

You need to fresh install 10.6, programs fresh form original sources and return only vetted files (no TM migrations) from a regular storage drive
But this when erasing the drive use the Security Option: Zero All Data before installing 10.6
What has happened your data got corrupted and it's corrupted on the TM drive too.
So the Zero will map off bad sectors on your drive, the 10.6 install will be fresh, the programs will be fresh and only files will be returned, you'll find out in short order which ones they are.

Once you are back up, then consider making a option key bootable clone.

If it works in Safe Mode and in normal mode with all extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) disabled then try to find which extension is causing it by enabling one extension at a time until the problem reappears.

I do the download for the new version, it goes smooth, and then when I try to open it up, it pops up in my Task Manager for a moment and then disappears. No error messages, just disappears.
hmmmm. can you check something for me? (this might give us a heads up on the nature of the itunes problem.)
try launching your QuickTime. does it:
(a) launch perfectly fine?
(b) fail to launch with an error message? (if so, what does it say?)

When I close out Firefox, and return later to use the internet, I click on Firefox and it gives me a message stating that Firefox is already running and needs to be closed before restarting or reboot my system. This occurs every time Firefox is closed and attempt to re-start it,,, not only at times,,,, EVERY time.
I have tried removing Firefox from my system and re-installing to fix this issue however,,, this did not work. After re-installing, I still get the same message when attempting to restart Firefox.
I have also tried Ctrl, Alt, delete to open the task manager and find there is no task to close.
I do not have any problems when using IE, I prefer to use Firefox as it is faster and crashes less than IE.
I am very frustrated at having to reboot my system each time I want to use the internet.

I cannot open any Word or Excel attachments to my email. How can this be fixed?
I can open an attachment that uses Adobe. When I try to open a Word or Excel attachment, a box pops up asking, "What should Firefox do with this file?" It then says, open with . . . browse, and I have to browse all the internet and program files to open the file. If I can find a program to open the attachment, then it is scrambled. How can I have Word or Excel, or any other Windows program automatically open an attachment like I have been doing for years? What has changed to prevent me from doing this? How can it be fixed? Also, can I bypass the documents window? What is the purpose for it and why does it store attached documents . . . only to clear later?

Web mail log in is preserving an email address w/ exposed password. How can this be fixed?
when logging into web mail, I mistakenly entered my email password while still in the address box. Now, whenever I begin to enter my email address, the complete address shows up (cool) and underneath that is the "alternative" address which includes my password (uncool). I have gone to Tools and cleared cache and cookies to no avail. How can this be cleared?
