TS3899 cant connect in the iphone 5 with my email

I cant seem to connect my email with the new iphone it says the server is down what do i do?

The contacts doesn't update. For instance I create a new contact either in google or in the iphone, but the contacts do not update in the pc or in the phone..
I changed my older iphone 4s a couple a weeks ago for a new iphone 5. I realize today about this problem
I tried syncronize via icloud and itunes but nothing happens.

You've entered your passcode on your phone to unlock it ? If you can't remember your passcode then follow the instructions on this page : Forgot passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled.

I started to do that then it said that this will become their apple I.D or similar and then I thought that will disconnect them from the same iTunes? I want them still on my iTunes as they are only young (8 and 10)? Or have I got this all wrong and even if I do set them up with a different e-mail will they still be on my itunes? If your iPhone is recognized by the computer, but not seen by iTunes, you may need to restart the Apple Mobile Device Service, as described in this article -

Once iTunes recognizes the iPhone you should be able to sync it with iTunes. See this article

For no apparent reason my phone stopped working...so I did a reset and got the message 'Restore Needed'. The problem is, I can't enter my passcode because I'm not given that option on the iPhone. All I seem to be able to do is make an emergency call.
It's been working fine otherwise. Any suggestions?
This is the SECOND replacement iPhone I've had this week and I'm getting a bit fed up.

Are you referring to the 4 digit passcode needed to enter the phone and use it's features?
If so reboot your iPhone and enter the passcode to get it operational. Launch Image Capture on the Mac and connect the iPhone. Now you should be able to download the video files to wherever you want on your hard drive.

Is the status light green?
Your Airport device may be in Bridge Mode.
Airport Utility 6:
Open Airport Utility, select the Airport Express and click Edit. Navigate to the Network tab and change Router Mode to DHCP and NAT. Then click Update on the bottom right.

Open Airport Utility and click Manual Setup. Navigate to the Internet icon and change Connection Sharing to Share a Public IP Address. Then click Update on the bottom right.

This could be caused by a USB connection issue. Make sure the iPhone is directly connected to the Mac using the USB cable it came with. Also, try disconnecting all other USB devices.

You can connect it to use the iPhone as a personal hotspot for the iPad, or to transfer photos/videos via the camera connection kit. You can't connect them in order to transfer music, documents etc.

If you are using a USB hub, don't. Connect directly to the computer. Disconnect all other USB devices except for keyboard and mouse.
