I am unable to get my msn emails. It is giving me an error message and saying it's not my orrect password.

Particularly:
Tap Safari and attempt to load a webpage (try any webpage). If you can load a webpage, then your device has Internet access. If you are unable to load a webpage, follow these troubleshooting steps.Try to use an alternate Internet connection if available:
Try a different Wi-Fi connection
If your iOS device has an active cellular data plan, tap Settings > Wi-Fi and turn off Wi-Fi.
If the affected email account is provided by your Internet provider, see if your issue is resolved while connected to your home Wi-Fi network.*
Log in to your email provider's website to ensure that the account is active and the password is correct.
Restart your iOS device.
Delete the affected email account from your device.
Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Choose the affected email account, then tap Delete Account.
Add your account again.

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions. To do this, click here and pick a method; if that page doesn't list one for your country or you're unable to call, fill out and submit this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

Need to do a hard reset on an iphone 4 but cant access apple id account and cant get reset to email address as it has been closed.

Going to Apple is pointless. They will not do anything to help. Activation lock is an anti-theft feature.
If the seller "forgot" the pasword for her Apple ID, then she needs to re-set it so that it can be used to unlock the phone. If she says she can't for some reason, demand your money back. If she refuses, I stand by the statement that the phone is most likely stolen.
The phone is completely useless without the Apple ID and password.

Cant get my. mac email to go online. Something to do with cetificates

I cant get my email .mac email to go online. All my settings are correct. It keeps flashing up : Mail was unable to verify the identity of the server, which has a certificate issued to "mail.mac.com. The error was: An SSL error occurred while trying to read data from the server"mail.mac.com" It's driving me crazy, e-mails are coming through fine on my iphone, and the pop accounts on the same mac.

How long ago was it working?
Do you have another Mac with 10.6.8 or higher on it so you can get an iCloud account?

TS3899 after downloading iOS 6.0 cant get my yahoo email on my iPhone mail icon

I phone crashed during downloading iOS 6.0. After restoring phone , my yahoo email would not transfer over. Can access via safari but not directly in mail.

Hi Chris. Thanks, for the suggestions re: my email issues. They were helpful and yes I did check all items you referenced. I even contacted Apple support and spent about 40 minutes on phone checking all settings. However, after all these efforts, my mail and calendar issues were not resolved. Apple Support finally recommended deleting the mail account and then reloading it - and it worked! I am now receiving my emails and calendar appts. in real time again.
Just wanted to share this in case anyone elest has a similar problem with mail/calendar after downloaing i.O.S. 8.1 onto iPhone 5.

Cant get it to email photos anymore

it says sending message but never shows up. It used to show up in my email.
I have tried it using 3 different contacts.
What I did was setup a contact
put in a phone number and an email
goto messages select new
select the one i want to send a message
select addselect add photo
select photo, the picture shows in the list.
select the photo it shows in the message
then type something
then click send.
It will say sending message, but message never appears.

I got it to send only ny manually typing in my email address.
I am sending to email accounts
I think It always wants to send to a phone MMS picture message type thing.
I set up contacts with real house phone and real emails, Never arrives.
I set up contact with fake phone number and real email, never arrives.
For only one week I managed to send email photos to my inlaws email, He does not have a wireless phone just a house phone and email account. So I thought that worked pretty good but a few weeks later and it stopped sending him the photos.
Meaning one week I sent hime 20 pictures, a few week later using the same exact contact I used before in the phone, he did not get them. It always says sending, but where do they go??
It always seems to work if I manually type in an email adress. I dont want to do that, I want to use my contact list. It is not easy to keep typing in email adresses, why have to do that when they are in the contact list?
I tried sending a bunch of photos to myself using my house phone contact name and email.
It always said sendin message but never arrived. So I gave up and typed in my email adress, it popped up with my same contact name and then I recieved them in my email account.
Perhaps it is buggy and unreliable, works some times, does not work other times.

Every week I seem to lose my passwords for my Mac Pro mail service. Cant get or send emails.

Today, as in the past, all of a sudden my email (apple Mail) lost my passwords and I cannot send or receive emails. All the mailboxes have icons of a tilda or a stop sign. Where do I go to get this fixed? I have tried a private contractor, and ATT support help to no avail.

Mac OS X 10.4.7 introduced connection issues in Mail similar to what you’re observing as a result of (according to the documentation) “Mail now supports connecting to mail servers through a SOCKS proxy”. If that’s the problem, it can usually be fixed by going to System Preferences > Network, choosing the network port configuration used to connect to Internet from the Show popup menu and disabling the SOCKS Proxy in the Proxies section, if it’s enabled.
And while you’re at it, choose Network Port Configurations from the Show popup menu, and make sure that the configuration used to connect to Internet appears at the top of the list.

TS3899 Cannot get my shaw email to work with ios8 on iPhone 5c. Keep getting unable to verify account information

I have had my shaw email on my phone forever without problem. updated to ios8 on thursday and today i cannot access it. Password is correct but kept asking for it and saying it was wrong. Deleted the account and tried re-adding it and now i get Exchange Account Unable to Verify account information. I also tried adding it as other and same message. I went to shaw's info page but they have not updated for ios8 yet.

Thanks for your reply. I use Sky email which is managed by google. I have now deleted the account and set it up again and that seems to be working now. I'm still having problems just getting the Internet connection to work. I won't be taking on any more software upgrades in future until I'm sure that they are worth it.

How do I access iCloud emails on my iphone? I can read them on my laptop, but not on the phone

You need to turn mail "ON" in settings - icloud.
You also need to verify that when you open mail app on the phone you view All inboxes.

Mail icon takes me to "welcome to Mail" screen, though I am already signed in to mail. Sometimes I see a screen flas that shows VIP but then it switches to the welcome screen. I hard rebooted twice, but no difference. I can get mail on the ipad air2. Should I sign out (and lose the mail data on the phone?
How can I delete the account - the support pages don't address the ios 8.1.2 screens as I see no "delete account" anywhere in settings.

Sorry, there is. Settings/Mail,Contacts,Calendars. Tap on the name of the account. At the bottom of the screen it will say Delete Account.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
I have asked for your email address to be edited out. Posting your address in an open thread is a sure way to be bombarded by unwanted email, remember it will be here long after you have resolved your problem, for automated detection software to find.
If you want people to contact you, enable others to see your email address in your profile.
Try deleting the iCloud account, restarting and logging in again.

Hi I cant get my MSN SERVER for MSN to work on my Iphone to receive and send mail I have tried the out going and incomming port codes but NO luck does anybody know how to make my MSN work on my IPhone 4 .

Again the operator CAN create the config file and send as an SMS . This config file contains the correct settings.
You just open the SMS and it auto installs in the phones config bundle
You then boot the phone down and reboot .
It really is simple however many MVNO services can't be a**ed -that why their cheap!
Not in dispute with you on the problem - yes it's the APN defaulting to ATT and being blocked as a non- subscriber. And compounded by the MVNO Sim card not having the correct protocols to view the APN menu item.
