But the iPad mail app does not have one. You must select them one at a time.

How can i delete multiple e.mails from my iPhone 4 S. ? It shows the presence of more than 1500 e-mails. But when I try to open the account it shows that there a no e-mails. So i cannot delete them.
I would disconnect the email on your phone...
And reconnect again and if it still does that go on an actual computer, log on and delete the mails with ease...
Hope this helps..it may just need to be refreshed... -
How can I delete all my mail from my computer, but leave it all on .Mac ?
How can I delete all my mail ( 3.5 ) on my computer ( original G4 ) but leave it all on the .Mac servers?
backup the device and restore it as new.
If you already have or don't need a backup:
Erase your device
Erasing all content and settings will delete all the data from your device, including songs, videos, contacts, photos, calendar information, and any other data. All device settings are restored to their factory condition.
To remove all settings and information from your device, tap Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings. For more information about this feature, see iOS: Understanding 'Erase All Content and Settings'.
If you are unable to erase your device, restore the device using iTunes.

How can I delete all my music from my iPhone 4s
How can I delete all the music from my iPhone?
I finally went to Apple Care tech support (the best!) for help.
Plug your phone into the computer.
I-Tunes should open.
Toward the top left of the page, click on the small I-Phone icon.
Select Music in the sidebar.
In the right window, your music should appear.
De-select what you don't want, then click Sync.
Voila.
I am running Yosemite 10.1.1

How can I delete multiple e-mails on my iPhone 5.
I have thousands of e-mails on my iPhone 5. Most are solicitations to sign petitions, or updates from organizations I belong to. I can delete the vast majority of them since I can't really read them on my iPhone anyway. How can I delete hundreds of e-mails at once? I know it was nearly impossible on iOs 7 but maybe on iOs8?? Anyone know?? Thanks.

How can I delete all the music from my iPhone and reinstall it?
I am trying to delete all the music from my iPhone 5 and reinstall it. The names of some of the albums and the artists did not import correctly from my CDs. I went back into iTunes and made corrections, synced my phone and no changes were made to the music on my phone. And two of the albums (I only have albums, not individual songs) are duplicated on the phone, though they are not in my iTunes library.
I have gone into iTunes, selected the device at the top right corner, selected all the music that showed up in the window - gone to the Edit menu, selected "all" and then "delete." The list of tracks disappears from the device list. I then synced the phone again, and the albums are still on the phone. What am I missing, please? I've even shut the phone down and restarted it, synced it again, but nothing changes.
Help, please?Follow the instructions here or here; the first set of instructions may require a power source other than a computer's USB port, so you should have one of these before proceeding. Your iPod is a fourth generation model.

>> Open Inbox >> Edit >> Mark All >> Mark As Read
>> Open Inbox >> Edit >> Check/select the top message; it will highlight the move button.
>> Press and hold the move button and uncheck the message that you had checked earlier.
>> Lift all your fingers off from the ipad screen and leave it alone. Wait until all your messages pile up on the right hand portion of the screen (in ipad); iphone will give you the actual number of emails it has selected for the action. Now they are just waiting for your command to be moved ALL at once.
>> Choose trash to delete all of them or any other folder where u want to move them, like one piece. Remember this will replicate your action on the server so you will ACTUALLY move them or delete them on the server and not just the ipad.
Once you have moved all messages to the trash you can either leave them there for the scheduled cleaning or empty it right away by doing this: go to trash folder and touch Edit. The Delete All button shows up at the bottom of the screen. Hit it! You’re done! -
How can I delete all music files from my iPhone and start again?
I rebuilt my iTunes library. I was under the impression that the first post-rebuild sync would erase all media from my iPhone.
Under the Summary tab in iTunes, I checked Sync only checked songs and videos, and in my music list all songs are unchecked.
Under the Music tab in iTunes, I checked Sync Music, and because all my songs are unchecked it shows 0 songs.
However, after syncing, the status bar at the bottom of the Music tab still shows all my songs previously loaded as taking up memory, and when I open the Music app on my iPhone all those songs are still listed (although they are not playable).
How can I clear everything out and start from scratch? The links below have instructions for deleting photos.

How can I delete all my photos from my iphone ios8
I have backed up all my photos from my Camera Roll on my computer. I know wish to free up that space. It is 1300 photos. I do not have time to sit and tap through each moment and delete. Too many moments. There must be a quicker way to delete all photos from the iPhone memory drive, either from the iPhone itself or iTunes.
Welcome to the Apple Community.
Connect it with a USB cable and use your photo application on your computer to import them. -
How can I delete all the songs from my iPhone 5s.
The software is up to date so its not that. I have also turned off the 'show all' option and there are still tracks left. It won't let me drag the songs sideways to delete, and when I connect the phone on my iTunes and click un-sync it from my music it STILL doesn't remove all of it (despite a message saying this will remove all songs and playlists- rubbish).
Hey Apple your new itunes is awful. Any solutions would be appreciated.Go to your Settings.

then find your music, swipe over it from right to left. "Delete" option will come and and just press.
Ta da.. Just managed myself so I am very happy/proud

How can I delete all the email from a user's account?
I have a user account with a huge amount of mail (around 50K messages) that Apple Mail can't deal with... it constantly hangs and/or crashes whether I use POP or IMAP to try and delete all the mail from the client.
How can I delete all the mail from the mailbox on the server? I don't want to delete the account entirely, I just want to empty everything out of it.
Thanks!sudo -u _cyrus /usr/bin/cyrus/bin/ipurge -d 0 -f user/mailboxname

My iPhone 4 has been stolen, how can I delet all information inside it?
How can I delet all my details in my iPhone remotely?, if there is another way tell me please I have the serial number
If you did any of the following:
- set up the Find My iPhone feature before the iPhone was stolen
- set the iPhone up to a corporate Microsoft Exchange account.
- set up a password on the screen lock with the option to wipe the data after ten failed attempts at login.
then the data could be wiped from the iPhone If you did not do any of those, there is no way to clear the data from the iPhone.

Is it safe to format ANY external drive to Mac OS Extended?
Some Seagate tech told me a while back that Seagate drives should ONLY be formatted with their proprietary formatting and that my data is vulnerable if I use something else. (I may have misunderstood this, but I'm 98% certain that's what he said.)
