My email icon on faceplate has disappeared. need help to find it.
You can't delete it. Look on all your screens and inside all your folders. If you still can't find it go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout. This will restore the home screen to its original configuration but may move other apps around to do so.

The mail icon on my iPhone says I have 1,504 unread messages, but when I go to delete them, it says "No Mail". I was trying to "clean out" my phone because I can't access my Words With Friends app - everytime I try to go there, it kicks me off. In my 2013 Honda Civic Si, I'm trying to use the SMS Text Message Function, but keep getting the error message, "Unsupported Device".
I use an iPhone 5 with latest iOS 6.1.4.
HandsFreeLink works perfectly fine with my iPhone for voice calls and for streaming Bluetooth Audio. Does text messaging not work because of iMessage? Does anyone have any suggestions for this issue?
Thanks in advance!In looking for a 2013 Honda Civic (LX model, no Navi), the text feature was very interesting and important to me. Why not have my texts available on the dash and read to me rather than messing with my phone. Anyway I won't go into the whole thing about safety while you're in your driving and all that. We all know what we should and shouldn't do. Anyways...
I spoke to a salesman who said that this feature was not compatible with the iPhone, only BBs. Of course this didn't impress me and I found it hard to believe that Honda would restrict themselves like that. Anyway, a few searches on the web later and Honda shows that the iPhone 4, 4S and 5 are compatible for receiving texts through the car, just not sending them. I believe you need a minimum of iOS 5+ for it to work though.
Once I found this the salesman and I did some testing with our phones. He has a 4S with iOS 6.1.3 and mine is a 4 with iOS 6.1.3. Initially we setup the phone using the Bluetooth config on the Civic's iMID display. It was setup and hands-free calling tested o.k. Next the texting was tested. Both of us have iMessage turned on. Neither of us could get the messages we would send each other (1 of us had our phone setup with the car, the other sent the text and vice versa). The messages were received by the phones, just not the car). When we would go under the Text Message section, it would say "Unsupported Device". I knew that couldn't be as Honda said it was compatible. After more web searches and a phone call to Honda by the salesman, I found the following.
1) It seems like the person who had their phone paired with the Civic had to disable iMessage to start getting texts. The salesman still had it enabled on his though when he sent me texts (as SMS) and the Civic got them so both people aren't necessarily required to disable it. Now under the Text Message section, it would list the messages received.
2) I changed the Notifications on my phone for Messages from Banner to Alerts. Once I did this it started to work. The texts were showing up on the car. I had read where another person had tried this successfully but then changed it back to Banner and it continued to work. I experienced the same thing.
Granted this wasn't extensive testing but I was able to get it to do something closer to what I wanted. I'm not sure why Apple and Honda can't put their heads together to make sending texts work on the car but maybe someday it will work when enough people complain. It's kind of a disappointment that I couldn't get iMessage to work but I haven't given up hope yet. As it's a proprietary protocol, I can see Honda not supporting it though.

When I tap the mail icon on my iPhone 4s, the menu of email servers pops up. I already have a me acct that I check all the time, no problem. So I choose iCloud, sign in and it tells me that I already have an acct….so why can't I get to my emails then? I've turned the phone off and on twice....that has fixed it in the past but not this time....

I browse the Mail icon of my Iphone 4 and want to get emails but suddenly the screen bounced back to the front page and cannot entered to the screen I usually to get emails. Tried many times and rebooted the Iphone have the same result. Can you help ?

Solved it, you have to open Safari, tap bottom right hand icon that looks like 2 pages, and slide a finger up the page and the iCloud icon in safari is at the bottom of page.

Can anyone help with associate my new iPhone with iTunes? My other old devices are there, but I see only how to delete one, not how to add one. Thank you.
iTunes Match is a subscription system that allows you to upload your own music (e.g. coped from CDs) to the cloud so that it shows (in the cloud) on your devices and computers without having to sync/copy it.
Automatic downloads allows to, for example, buy an app on your computer's iTunes and have it automatically download on your phone without having to connect and sync it or go to the Purchased tab in the App Store app on your download and download it yourself - but doing that, going to the Purchased tab and redownloading an app, should get it associated.
But no, I'm not aware of any problems that not having it associated causes. -

Whenever I try to enter my credit card information into iTunes via either my mac book or my iphone it says there is an error and says "for assistance, please contact itunes support, etc...". Can anyone help with this?

I am unable to sync my Outlook calendar with my Iphone. I have noted that the Icloud Outlook add in is not ticked When I attempt to load it from the designated file nothing happens Can anyone help with this? Robyn
Re: check that the appointments in my phone are going into iCloud calendars....exactly how do I do this? I fear this is a really stupid question!
My iCloud account is set up with my Apple ID as one email account (for example [email protected]) which is the email account I use to sign up for internet sites like Amazon, Apple,etc, so that I can differentiate vendors/mass emails. But my default calendar on my iPhone is in a different email name (ie [email protected]) which I use for most communications to friends, relatives, etc. and it is this account that holds most of my appointments. To further complicate things I have other email accounts that I use for business/professional and community work. If I want all my calendars to show on my iPhone AND sync to my iCloud, do I set this at the phone level or the iCloud level? or both?
Let me clarify....It looks like if I go into appointments that I previously set up through my personal account (ie above [email protected]) and edit the entry on my iPhone, selecting the iCloud "home" calendar within the entry, it will then sync to my iCloud account, no problem....do I have to do this to EVERY entry I have? or is there a way to name my personal account as one to sync to iCloud? -
i bought a iphone 3gs off a family member and its on o2 i activated the o2 sim in a bb because o2 support advised me to activate on different phone as mine will not sync it says sim is not installed to iphone on itunes can anyone help please ...?
