TS3899 Since downloading the latest upgrade - we have been unable to access all email accounts. Tried going to Settings etc - still not working.
We downloaded the latest upgrade. Since then we have been unable to open emails. We followed instructions to change Privacy settings - but don't have any options available once we click on that. Privacy page comes up with Location Services (Off) etc. Any ideas how we can overcome problem ?
My daughter has had her Razr for about 9 months now. About two weeks ago she picked up her phone in the morning on her way to school when she noticed two cracks, both starting at the camera lens. One goes completely to the bottom and the other goes sharply to the side. She has never dropped it and me and my husband went over it with a fine tooth comb. We looked under a magnifying glass and could no find any reason for the glass to crack. Not one ding, scratch or bang. Our daughter really takes good care of her stuff, but we still wanted to make sure before we sent it in for repairs. Well we did and we got a reply from Motorola with a picture of the cracks saying this was customer abuse and that it is not covered under warranty. Even though they did not find any physical damage to back it up. Well I e-mailed them back and told them I did a little research and found pages of people having the same problems. Well I did not hear from them until I received a notice from Fed Ex that they were sending the phone back. NOT FIXED!!! I went to look up why and guess what there is no case open any more for the phone. It has been wiped clean. I put in the RMA # it comes back not found, I put in the ID #, the SN# and all comes back not found. Yet a day earlier all the info was there. I know there is a lot more people like me and all of you, but they just don't want to be bothered so they pay to have it fix, just to have it do it again. Unless they have found the problem and only fixing it on a customer pay only set up. I am furious and will not be recommending this phone to anyone. And to think I was considering this phone for my next up grade! NOT!!!!

Since your settings were updated? Do you mean the iOS? Try this.
Quit the mail app completely. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Launch the mail app again. -
I now use Microsoft Internet Explorer to operate my email on fastmail.fm

If that is not the solution then try a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. The screen will go blank and then power ON again in the normal way.] It is app and data safe!

Hello. Since my last firefox update, I have been unable to type an email - the box within which one would usually type does not appear when I press 'reply' to a received email, or press 'compose'. The email provider is '123-reg.co.uk. I have been using both firefox and the provider ['webfusion Ltd/webmail123] successfully for well over a year. The provider says it is a browser problem. I can still add an attachment to the email header, which successfully can be sent, but the recipient gets my standard email 'signature' with font messages and the attachment. Can anyone help? I have just updated my iphone 4 to OS 6.0, but since then I can't access my emails as when trying to open a particular email I am presented with a blank screen. Other apps such as facebook and ebay take an absolute age to open.
Is anyone else having problems? what can I do to put it right?I am having this problem. At first with the new iPhone 5, and then with the iPad 2. I am not sure why this is happening.
My gut feeling is this is an iO6 issue and here's why -
The problem mainly occurs with apps. I have about 150 apps, and when I plugged in the phone, iTunes went to sync all of them. The process would hang up after about 20 - 30 apps were loaded onto the phone. I could tell where about the process hung up because the apps on the phone showed up as "waiting".
Then on the iPad 2 I plugged in to sync and saw there was a huge "Other" component in my storage. It required me to restore the iPad 2 from backup. With this restore the same issues occurred - putting the apps back on the iPad would hang up. The videos on the iPad also got stuck - maybe after about 10 hours of videos transfered iTunes crashed.
My solution has been to soft reset the device, restart Windows, and continue the process until it's complete. This is remarkably inefficient and time-intensive but everything works with patience.
I have been wondering if others have had these same problems. -
I have Windows 8.1 on my PC. Ever since downloading the latest version of i Tunes, it will not recognize any of my i Pods (3) and therefore am unable to sync any music from my i Tunes to the i Pods. I've tried all the obvious things like resarting the PC as well as the i Pods tried different patch cables but the i Tunes software will no longer recognize my i Pods. I have automatic sync selected, but I even tried to manually sync by clicking on devices under File but the sync icon is "grayed" out. When I look under Preferences and click on devices the serial numbers of my i Pods appear and are correct but again will not recognize the i Pod when plugged in to the PC. Bottom line I'm dead in the water....appreciate any suggestions....thanks

Since downloading the latest ios my ipad2 asks for a passcode to get in. Since I have never had one I cant give it one and I cant open it up. How do I bypass the this please.
I have seen other users talk about this and make the same claim. Unfortunately, even if you didn't set a passcode, and the iPad is insisting that you did, unless you can successfully guess what the passcode is, you still have to follow these instructions and use one of the methods in here in order to restore your iPad which will then unlock it.

Downloading the latest upgrades for Mac 10.8.2 keeps stalling. I still have Firefox 17.0.1. the system has tried many times but the process just hangs.
Try to create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.
