TS3899 when I send a photo with my I-pad the recipient see it sideways not upright

Hi friends,
What an odd thing when I send an attached photo or video with an e-mail the person that gets it complain is looking sideways as if the bottom was the rigth marging.. Don't know what to do. Tried to send four tests each in one of the four positions turning my I-pad, no solution.

Update: I was able to have the correct photo show in my email as received on my iPad2 by changing a setting on my IMac prior to sending the photo on the email.
On the iMac, I went into iPhoto > Preferences > Email photos using > Mail (in lieu of "iPhoto"). This seems to have corrected the issue. I'm not sure why. Now the correct photo shows up when received on my iPad2.

I have already checked the encoding settings in the Fonts in order to be "unicode (UTF-8)".
What else can i check?

The recipient, if they also use thunderbird may need to have a language pack to read the email: [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/language-tools/]
You may also need to have them check their interpreter to make sure the email is being received in the same format it is being sent.

When I send an iMessage to an e-mail, the recipient cannot read the words until the attachment is opened... Anyway we can get around this and have the words show up in the email.

iMessages are not emails. Period. If your recipients are getting SMS messages as email, it is because there is a mechanism for doing so in the delivery system. It evidently uses a windows mail encode for attachments and those on iOS do not see them as embedded. If you want them to use text, and not have to open an email app, use text on both ends. Why does email come into play in the first place if you do not wish to use it? SMS texting is dirt cheap and simple to use.

Someone played a prank on you and entered a keyboard shortcut to change lol to something else. Your can delete that shortcut in Settings > General > Keyboard > Shortcuts

Hi, thanks for the answer, I did that already. Unfortunatly this doesn't help me at all, as I often forget to check the menu. For me composing the message is writing the text, the subject, the person to who is addressed and than press "send".
I often forget to check the "from", and this is a problem because the software select itself one of the accounts.
Isn't there a way at least to put as a default a blank field instead of one of the accounts? or an account which doesn't work so if I forget to specify the "from" I will be rnotofied that the message can't be sent.
I guess this could be a rather common problem for many people!

Did you select View->Bcc Address Field from the menu bar?

That will depend on the kind of album your photo is in.

When you edit your photo, the edited copy is added to the automatic "edited" album and the view switches to he edited album. But the photo should stay in its original album - do you see something different? Only if you want the edited photo in the camera roll and the photo strea as well, you have to save the edited copy to the camera roll again after editing, otherwise the camera roll will show the original and not the edted version.

If you are using Photoshop from within iPhoto the following may help with the workflow. However, we do need to know the answers to the questions posed by Terence and Larry to be able to help you.
Using Photoshop or Photoshop Elements as Your Editor of Choice in iPhoto.
1 - select Photoshop or Photoshop Elememts as your editor of choice in iPhoto's General Preference Section's under the "Edit photo:" menu.
2 - double click on the thumbnail in iPhoto to open it in Photoshop. When you're finished editing click on the Save button. If you immediately get the JPEG Options window make your selection (Baseline standard seems to be the most compatible jpeg format) and click on the OK button. Your done.
3 - however, if you get the navigation window
that indicates that PS wants to save it as a PS formatted file. You'll need to either select JPEG from the menu and save (top image) or click on the desktop in the Navigation window (bottom image) and save it to the desktop for importing as a new photo.
This method will let iPhoto know that the photo has been editied and will update the thumbnail file to reflect the edit..
With Photoshop Elements the Saving File preferences should be configured as shown:

If you use iPhoto to edit more than PSE re-select iPhoto in the iPhoto General preference pane. Apple Mail is designed for smaller documents, well under 1mb.

I've sent psd files to various people without issues, however you might want to try something like www.filedropper.com to make sure it's not that they can't open your version of psd file.
You may also want to zip the file using the built in archiving software, simply right click (or control click) the file and choose Compress ...., then you can email it to the person as a compressed archive. That should preserve all the aspects of the file properly without any modifications.

What you say about Send Later timestamp is correct.
When you click Send or Send Later a time is set regardless of when you actually sent the Send Later email.

There is another setting for "Start Conversation from", that needs to be set to phone number.
