TS3988 Full Name in iCloud account

Hi there, my cloud account full name is incorrect and it is not allowing me to change it in account details. Any ideas please!

If you created a new iCloud account it would have a new associated iCloud email account. You wouldn't be able to move your current @icloud.com address to the new account.
Just to double-check, after quitting (Command-Q) and re-opening Mail, did you start an new message and click the down-arrow next to From to see if the new sender name was available from the drop-down list (see image below)? If so, you might try signing out of iCloud entirely. Get your husband his own account and stop sharing yours, they are free.

How to get the full name of the Account Owner?

Hi,
I would like to ask if there's a way to display the full name of the Account Owner in a report where the subject area is Opportunity? Currently, the Username (under Owned By User) which displays the full name is equal to the Opportunity Owner.

Currently, I have a report under Opportunity history where the following fields are being shown:
- Account's Country
- Opportunity Owner (Owned By User - gives me the full name)
- Account Name
- Opportunity Name
- Metrics field (Revenue, Volume. etc.)
- Close Date
- some custom fields
The users want to see the Account Owner so I added this field but it's showing the owner's alias. My question is, in using the "Combine with Similar Analysis", can I display all the values retrieved by the Opportunity report and get the value of 'Owned By User' in the Account report?
I have tried combining the two reports but the values are derived from the driving report which is Opportunity. How can I get the value/format of the field in the Account report?

How to change "Full Name" in iCloud IMAP mail account information

Brand new to this forum so please excuse any newbieisms. I am running OS X 10.7.5 I created an iCloud IMAP mail account so that I can sync with my iPhone.
Windows Live is my original mail account. All is good except the "Full Name" in "Accounts" preferernces is somehow incorrect. When I send mail frm my Mac, this incorrect name shows in the "From" field. Mail sent from my iPhone shows my correct name as it appears in my phone cloud settings. The name doesn't sync in iCloud. All other syncing is good. When I try to change it manually in my Mac mail preferences, I get the message "the"Incoming Mail Server" field can not be empty" when I try to save the changes. The aforementioned field is not empty and is in fact greyed out as this was self populated upon creation of the account. I can't even change the case sensitivity of the name or I get the message. As a stop gap I have created an alias to send mail with, but would like a proper fix. Any ideas?

Cannot enter my full name in mail account preferences

iMac 24-inch, Early 2008, OS 10.8.2: When I send email from my icloud email account, some recipients report seeing only my email address in the from line at the top of the email without my real name. I opened Mail preferences and the Full Name: box is greyed out and reads "Your Name" instead of my name under the accounts tab. How can I unlock and access this box to enter my real name? BTW, I went to the iCloud website, logged in, and went to the account prefs under the web based iCloud mail prefs. This box was editable and already showed my name. I deleted it and re-entered my full name. When i returned to the Mail app on my iMac, the Your Name box still reads "Full Name" in grey, un-editable. I tried a test email sent to my husband's email and it still reads just my email address without my name at the top. How do I fix this? Thank you in advance.

Go into your icloud preferences and uncheck mail. Give it a minute or so, then check it out.
I tested that after changing my full name on the website. The name updated in my mail.app, but not until I unchecked/rechecked.

How do you change the name on an iCloud Account after it is set up?

If you mean you want to change the name of your iCloud ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com to manage your iCloud ID, then tap Edit next to the ID name and enter the name you wish to use (must be in the form of an email address). After changing the name, youi will then need to go to Settings>iCloud on your iOS device(s), delete the existing account, then sign back in with the renamed account. (On a computer, go to System Preferences>iCloud on Mac or the iCloud control panel for Windows on a PC, sign out, then sign back in with the renamed ID.)
Or did you mean you wanted to change the name of your iCloud email account?

Changing name for icloud account

I created an icloud account on my ipod but the apple ID I use had my dads name. So my icloud account got linked to my dad's apple account. I got a solution that I can unlink that email from the apple id buteven when i log in into icloud it shows my dads name. I tried to change it but every time I log in using my icloud account in apple it takes me to my dads account and my icloud email is not even in the email list there. it is not really unlinking my icloud account from my dads apple ID. Need help as I really like that email and I can't make any more icloud accounts from my ipod because it says I am not allowed to.

How can I change to my current apple id account so I can use all the new cool stuff available? Each time I try to sign in it states account not verified because I am not loggin in with the account I originally create my icloud under. What can I do the resolve this issue Ugh this *****

How can another iCloud account log in on my iPad if they need to use it

This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID, verify the changes, enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone".
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, verify it once again, delete the iCloud account from your device and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

TS3988 Two iPhones, one iCloud account.

Both my wife & I have Iphones. When on my Icloud account to find my phone, only my phone can be found & my wife phone can't be located.
But her phone is on the screen. How can I fix this?

User name in iCloud Account Details is incorrect.

I migrated to OS5 this weekend. After installing iCloud, I went into System Preferences/iCloud. I noted that under Account Details, the user name is someone from my contact list. When I change the name and exit and re-enter, the name appears again. Email/Calendar and contacts are all syncing fine, but this is annoying. Any help would be much appreciated.
