Hello, my manager handed me his phone off to resolve it and I restored and updated the iphone without knowing who was the account that was set up iCloud, and now I can not activate the phone. How do I get the email account that was in icloud that was configured on the phone? Starting email already know who is the account

No one can give you that. Ask your manager to contact the previous owner of the device. They are the only one who can help you with this, either by providing the correct ID and password, or erasing the phone and removing it from their account as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4515.

Your description doesn't make it entirely clear what you are trying to do. Your Apple ID - which you use to log in to iCloud - is a non-Apple email address and you can change this. You may also have a 'rescue' address (advisable) which is a non-Apple email address and you can change that. The @icloud.com address you set up when you opened the iCloud account can not be changed, but has nothing directly to do with Hotmail (other than that being the login).
What you can do is add up to three 'email aliases' - these are additional addresses (not accounts) which deliver into the same inbox as the main account. (In fact it's a good idea to give out alias addresses, rather than the main address, because if they attract spam you can easily change them.) (New aliases can only be @icloud.com ones; @me.com addresses cannot now be created.)
You should be aware before you start that once you've created an alias you cannot turn that address into a full iCloud account, move it to another account, or reactivate it if you delete it.

You need to change which email account is the default. Go to Settings -> Mail -> Default Account and choose your personal account. This will now be the default account whenever an account is not specified; i.e. sending links from Safari, emailing photos, etc. To send an email from your Business account you'll need to enter mail, touch the business account, and then choose to create a new email.

Evidently you have two Apple IDs, one in use for iCloud and one not. You have changed the latter to be your new emails address. Having done this you cannot change the iCloud Apple ID to be the same as the other ID since this would in effect merge them, which is not possible. You will have to find another email address to change it to, such as a free Yahoo or GMail one.

Just go to Settings>Mail..>and the accvount yu want to delete. Scroll down the screen and there will be a big red delete account button

HEY GUYS, I got My account back, I try all stupid forms that skype ask you to fill.. so..
here what you have to do..
1st get a new account with an email from same domain .. in my case I have my onw domain, so I load new email account.
2., add as many contact as you can from your old account ., ask same peopel to add you .
3,. go and fill the form and feel all fileds, try to be exactr, in my case I had first skype at 2003,, so I couldnt remmber the date or email tha I sign up..
4. skype will send you saying they cant do anything as your info is not correct .. dont worry , keep sending emails to the person who respont. try to show that you are the owner
5. in my case. I ask them to put back the email account that was befor the update, most time the hackers will update your email and password, but skype know your past emails, ..
6. after 5 days, I am sure if you not give up, you will get your account back, as skype will send you a request email for update the password from the past email account..
so.. I think .. you can try . and dont get upsat, I get my account back. and realy all what I provide, beside my contacts was incorrect .

If you have Mail setup a a client for your Gmail account set iPhoto to use Mail. Then select one of Mail's stationary templates for photos and use it. May not be as good as the iPhoto templates but will be fancier than a plain email window.

I have created a new & separate apple id and I want that on my phone but I can't figure out how to delete his email from my phone.

To change iCloud accounts you have to go to Settings>iCloud, sign out, then sign back in with your other ID to create your new account. If you want to migrate a copy of the iCloud data to the new account, start by saving any photo stream photos that you want to keep to your camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save Image. If you are syncing notes with iCloud that you want to keep, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself so you can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out, choose Keep on My iPhone and provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone when prompted. Then sign back in with your new Apple ID to create your new account and choose Merge to upload the data to your new account. Once you are on a separate account you can go to iCloud.com and delete your husband's data from your account (and he can do the same with yours).
Just be aware that the current @icloud.com email address cannot be moved to the new account, nor can the current my photo stream album (which is why you need to save any my photo stream photos you want to keep to your iPhone before signing out of the existing account).

If it's your non-iCloud mail address, start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account
If it is your iCloud mail address you want to change, you can't.

You can clear the iPad and start again with the other account> Settings->General->Reset->Erase all Content & Settings
Or you can go to Settings->Itunes and App Stores->Apple ID->Sign Out,
And Then Sign in with the other account. You can then download the Apps with that account. Though you may block the other account for 90 days.
Your best bet is to set it up again using the orighinal account it had, so you can get their Apps back. without affecting your account.
