Contact whoever you got it from. If they can't or won't remove the lock, get your money back. If they won't do that, or you can't contact them, turn it over to the police. It's probably stolen.
There is no way to bypass the activation lock.

I have my own icloud account, but I can't add it because I can't delete the previous owner's without their password. How do I get rid of it?!? Unfortunatly the only way that you can get it off is to get the old user to input the password. You may need to contact that old user and see if he can put the old password in. hope this helps.

For contact [email protected]Sounds like the Activation Lock is still set to the previous owner. If you are unable to get that Apple ID and password that iPhone is totally useless to you.
Take it back to the shop and demand your money back because they sold it to under false pretenses.

Check you are logged into your store account properly (settings > store). Also check there are no restrictions set that might be causing this (settings > general > restrictions) -

Is your MacBook Pro early 2011 or newer. If not that is whay you cannot mirror and a third party app called airparrot would help.

How can I change to my current apple id account so I can use all the new cool stuff available? If you've forgotten the password for the Apple ID that you created, you can reset it at iForgot.com -

Go to icloud.com from your computer and open Pages beta. Do you see your Pages documents there?

I have been wanting to change it but I have not been able to sign out of the previous account because I cannot sign out of "Find My iPod Touch" due to not knowing the password. How am I able to shut that off and log into my own account?
You can't. This is a security feature to prevent the resale of stolen iOS devices. You need to contact the seller and have him/her remove it from their iCloud account. Or return and get your money back. See: Find My iPhone Activation Lock - Apple Support
