TS3988 I have icloud but when my ipad and iphone are not updating together.

I have icloud installed on both my ipad and iphone. When I buy new apps they are on my ipad but don't appear on my phone. I am obviously doing something wrong. What is it?

Have you checked your Apple Store and iTunes settings (Settings > iTunes & App Stores)? Make sure that "Automatic Downloads" for Music, Apps, Books are turned on.

Notes from iPad and iPhone are not being synced to my Mac with iCloud

I have been really hesitant to even use iCloud, but i just started to try to use it yesterday - and my Notes from my iPad and iPhone are not being synced together, and both Notes from my iPhone and iPad are not even being seen to my Mac.
What am i doing wrong with this?

Welcome to the Apple Community.
First check that all your settings are correct, that notes syncing (mail and notes on a computer) is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the notes you are adding are added to your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by checking in accounts on an iOS device, or the left side panel in mail on a computer), non iCloud notes will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your notes are in the iCloud group, you might try unchecking notes syncing (mail and notes on a computer) in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling notes syncing.

TS1538 I have just installed Windows 8.1 and now my ipad and iphone are not recognised in iTunes, can anyone help?

This is my first post so if I've made any mistakes please forgive me. I have recently upgraded from Windows 7 Ultimate to Windows 8.1 Professional however, now my iPad and iPhone are not recognised in iTunes. I have checked Device Manager and the iPad is listed, I also asked it to update the driver but it informed me that I have the most up to date version. Can anyone help please?

Many thanks for your prompt reply however, I found this post and it worked perfectly. I hope it helps other users.
Plug your Ipad USB cable into USB port.
Go to your Control Panel, click Hardware and Sound, then click Device Manager.
Click on Portable Devices, and you should see Apple Ipad shown (or whatever apple device your using).
Right-click the Apple Device your using, and choose Update Driver Software..
Click "Browse my computer for driver software."
Click "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer."
Click the Have Disk button. (If the Have Disk option is not present, choose a device category such as Mobile Phone or Storage Device if listed, and click next. The Have Disk button should then appear.)
In the "Install from Disk" dialog, click the Browse button.
Use this window to navigate to the following folder:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers.
Double-click the "usbaapl" file. (This file will be called "usbaapl64" if you have a 64-bit version of Windows. If you don't see "usbaapl64" here, or if there is no Drivers folder, look in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers. instead).
Click OK in the "Install from Disk" dialog.
Click Next and finish the driver-installation steps. Open iTunes to verify that the device is recognized properly.

Both my iPad and iPhone will not update apps

Both my iPad and iPhone are neither updating installed apps not installing new apps via WiFi (or 3G) but can be synced via my Mac when the new apps/updates are downloaded on the computer. This appears to be a recent problem (past few days): all I get is "waiting" for every app/update needed to be installed. I have tried a number of hardware solutions (restarting, logging out of my iTunes account) to no avail. There does not appear to be any download in my iTunes account that seems to be "hung up". My hypothesis is that it may be an authorization probalem and I can't help but think that it maybe related to last week's corrupt binaries problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You have a couple of options to get them in your photo stream:
Open the photos one at a time and take a screenshot. This will add a new low resolution copy of the photo to the camera roll, which will then upload to your photo stream;
Email the photos a few at a time to yourself, then save the attached photos to your camera roll. This will add a copy of the photo at full resolution to your camera roll and upload to photo stream;
Use an app like PhotoSync, which will allow you to wirelessly transfer copies of all your old photos to your computer all at once. Then delete these photos from your camera roll and use PhotoSync to transfer them back from your computer to your camera roll. These will be the original resolution and will upload to your photo stream. (You need an app like this because iTunes will not transfer photos back to your camera roll, where they must be in order to add to your photo stream.)
Or, you can add them to a shared stream and invite yourself as a subscriber (see http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mmc0cd7e99). The shared stream will appear on your iPad and you can either leave things this way, or save them to the camera roll on your iPad and delete the shared stream. They won't be in your photo stream but they will at least be on your iPad.

IPAD and IPHONe 4S apps, as appropriate, are present on both devices via ICloud however new MacBookPro, while ICloud enabled, does not receive any apps present on IPAD and IPHONE...is this the way it is or have I not done something to bring in the apps to my MacBook?

The Apps that you are trying to synch, were they already on your iPhone and iPad when you purchased your Macbook Pro? Existing Apps won't synch automatically, only new apps that are downloaded AFTER you set up your Macbook Pro on iCloud. After verifying iClous setup and settings, try downloading a brand new app and see if it synchs to all of your devices.
The apps on your mobile devices can still be put on your Mac, you will just need to manually download them from the App Store on your MB Pro.

Yesterday all works fine. I connected my iPad and iPhone to iTunes and they were synced. But now, they aren't displayed in iTunes.
I am using Lion and iTunes 10.4.
Furthermore, i noticed, iTunes doesn't start up by plugin my devices since i installed Lion. Is this normal?

I have Windows 8. Itunes is not recognising either my ipad or iphone. I have googled and read much about this problem and associated solutions all of which I have tried except the solutions tend to be windows XP or Vista based. Can ANYONE help me. I've not backed up either product since January when i first got the pc and itunes actually worked. Thanks in advance

Mobile purchases (iPad and iPhone) are not showing in PING

I'm not sure if this is me or the App.
Today I purchased a fair amount of media on almost every Apple device I own! Some songs on my iPhone, a few TV shows on my iPad and AppleTV as well as some movies and complete albums on my Mac Pro.
All the purchases from my Mac Pro show in my PING feed, but none of the others do. I thought this might be a sync issue, but even after coming home and synching - the only purchases that are "fed" to my "feed" are those from the Mac Pro (main library).
Obviously, they are all using the same account and such. The only "odd" thing that happened was that when I went to rent a movie on my AppleTV, it failed and said it had a problem connecting to the iTunes Store - even though I was able to watch previews. A quick sign-out/sign-in solved this and I was able to rent (but it still didn't show in PING).
Anyone else getting the lack of feed from mobile purchases?

I purchased an album yesterday on my iPad before I even looked at ping and it showed up on my ping feed. I still can not see ping on my iPad. Has anyone else been able to do so?
However, it does appear to be capturing my music purchases.

I tapped back up and storage button and it worked, but i do not see the apps on my ipad, the ones I have on my iphone.. also the calendor goes the same.. my pc, iphone and ipad all have different info. weren't they supposed to merge when i started using icloud?
