My husband changed the Apple ID on our computer. For some reason, iCloud has the old Apple ID and it won't let me change it. I've been locked out of my iPad twice and had to restore it because of iCloud. How do I change the Apple ID (not the password)?

In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > iTunes & App store, scroll down and tap your ID)
If you are using iMessages or FaceTime, you will also need to log out and into your ID there too.

The Apple ID for future purchases is in Settings>Store>Apple ID. However, apps have to be updated using the Apple ID used to originally purchase them. This can't be changed. If the App store is asking you to provide a password for a different Apple ID when you are updating apps, it's because this ID was used to purchase it originally.

Im wondering why my post hasn't been answered yet. I did file a report with the BBB and I had a rude representative from Verizon call me named Steve. He said I can file all of the reports I want and I will just keep getting calls from him. I can understand why my phone couldn't be replaced because of the small crack. You are getting the 3194 error because you cannot update to 6.1.2, since it is no longer current.
The fact that you downloaded the 6.1.2 file does not matter. If you upgrade, you must upgrade to the latest version.
I cannot imagine why you would not want to update to the current 6.1.3 version instead of 6.1.2.

Manually searching the cards it is the one with the Head and Shoulders icon.

This is my issue. My account has worked without an issue since I created the account 1+ years ago. Then for some reason i was prompted and i could not sign into my account. I went to iForgot site
Requested Email Verification to unlock account – I request email verification but the email does not arrive. I know my account emsil account works. I receive email every day to the email account from friends, family and even Apple (download billing receipts, and other apple notifications). I created another "test" apple id and received an email without This option does not work either because the verification email is not sent (or never arrives)
Next I went down the challenge question path. I cannot get past the enter birthdate page as it is never considers my birth date as valid entry. And yes, i know my birthdate but it is no longer accepted as a valid input.
I had a chat session with Apple support and they are aware of this type of issue but there is no process in place to fix these accounts. According to Apple Support (the person i chatted with) there is concern about protecting users identity by giving other access to your account. I personally question this response because i had account issue with other companies that mange personal date (e.g. my Bank) and the issue was resolved. Apple cannot or will not fix this issue. Without resolution i can not get to content i have purchased but have not downloaded and i can not purchases or upgrade exiting apps.

How do I get all of the music on my computer to transfer to my Iphone? For some reason, itunes has picked up some songs but not others. example, I have several CD's loaded in which only 1 or 2 songs from the CD shows up in itunes.

I have about 70 Cd's loaded on my computer as I had previously owned another MP3 device before I got enamored with the Ipad and Iphone. My problem is itunes will not recognize all of this music. To give a specific example, I have an old Bon Jovi Cd "crossroads" , itunes only recognizes 2 songs off the Cd. How can I get itunes to recognize these songs? They do not show up on itunes anywhere but if i go to my music folder I can locate the songs and it even shows the itunes logo but, the songs will not play with itunes. It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for this very occasion.
Use your backup copy to put everything on the computer, then sync.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup, not good, then you can transfer itunes purchases from your iphone to your computer - File>Devices>Transfer Purchases

I've got an early 2011 Macbook Pro running the latest OS, but this afternoon it decided to not start properly, and I was faced with the blinking folder of death. Having googled around the subject a bit, it seems the thing to do is boot and hold the option key, then do a few things to sort it if its sortable. However, its asking for my network, and the password. For some reason, it is completely rejecting the password, even though I know thats the correct one (I'm using it now for instance!).
So how do I move this forward? I'd rather not have to buy a new MBP, but its looking like it might be necessary at this stage, as I need a laptop for my work! I've tried to book into a London apple store, but there are no free slots at any of them.
