TS3989 how can i activate icloud photostream on 2 macbooks?
I have 2 MBP's, and was wondering: how can i activate icloud photostream on both? it works fine with 1 MBP, 2 iphones and 1 ipad, but when i try to activate icloud in iphoto on my new mbp, it says i have to deactivate icloud on the 1st MBP.

If you can do that, then restart your Mac, launch System Preferences > iCloud

How can i download icloud on a white macbook
i am havng diffuiculty trying to download icould for my macbook it is the latest white one out before they canceled them.
iCloud requires OS X Lion 10.7.2 or higher, which in turn requires:
Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, or Xeon processor
2GB of memory
OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)
7GB of available space
If I'm not mistaken, your MacBook does not have an Intel Core 2 Duo processor (you can check by going to > About this Mac) so it will not be able to use iCloud, other than adding your iCloud email account. -

You can't, i'm sorry. What you're running into is the activation lock and it requires that the original owner release it with their apple ID before you can set it up.

please help!!!!!!!!!Unfortunately, you cannot do very much with your phone unless you get assistance from the previous owner, they should either provide you with the password to unlock it or remove their account from the phone entirely remotely through iCloud.com > Find My Phone.

My phone was stolen, I have moved it in lost mode,but I can see that whoever has it,is changing phone name and can use it until I activate lost mode again.Can I do it permanently? How can I cancel ICloud back for the stolen phone, as I cannot delete the stolen phone backup (says that backup is being in use) and this is keeping memory occupied in the Cloud and I cannot back-up the other devices.

You cannot do anything without a sim for the carrier the iPhone is locked to. With that you can attempt to restore using the recovery mode described in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212 but note that if the previous owner installed an Apple ID and password and turned on Settings > iCloud > Find My Phone, you will never get it to work without the Apple ID and password. That is the Activation Lock, an anti-theft protection system.

Setting up iCloud with the same account data and switching on Photostream should do the trick:
I see different photos in My Photo Stream on each of my devices.
Your device will keep up to 1000 photos, even if they are older than 30 days. Photos older than 30 days are removed from the iCloud server, so all devices may not have the same photos, depending on when you enabled My Photo Stream.
If you prefer to have only the most current photos in My Photo Stream on each of your devices, and delete the older photos:
If there are any photos in My Photo Stream that you want to keep, save them to your Camera Roll, then back up your Camera Roll and other data using iCloud or iTunes.
Turn My Photo Stream off in Settings > iCloud > Photos (on a device using iOS 6, go to Settings > iCloud > Photo Stream). Confirm that you wish to Delete Photos.
Turn My Photo Stream back on. iCloud will automatically push your stored photos to your device.
Repeat these steps for each device.
