TS3989 I have automatic upload etc. turned on in my iCloud and Photostream but after having just uploaded new photos from my camera to my MacBook Pro, none are getting into. My Photostream, either on my iPad, iPhones or Apple TV. Any suggestions?

Go to Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Keyboard and Mouse -> Mouse
And edit your mouse settings to do what you want it to do.

Third, from my understanding, it would appear you are concerned about the noise the hard drive makes when it falls asleep? Why not put your machine in screen saver mode instead? Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Energy Saver turn off all Energy Saver settings, or set them to run Never.
Fourth, if your machine was purchased just a few days ago, you may still be able to get an exchange from the store, quicker than you can get a repair done. You may want to look into that possibility.
Fifth, it does appear you found the Logic forum. I would persist in asking there how to solve your technical issue with Logic regarding the audio. It may be you don't have to do anything special to the hard drive. Remember audio can be transmitted by wire, avoiding ambient sounds.

I downloaded and installed Creative Cloud Installer and installed the Creative Cloud desktop on my MacBook Pro running Yosemite. The Creative Cloud desktop tries to install when the system starts and the icon actually shows in the top bar briefly and then disappears shortly after it shows up so it is obviously failing to load. I have tried multiple times to no avail.

I'm finally moving my photos from my PC to my MacBook Pro. I have 8 years worth of photos organized into very specific albums. Can I import the album structure directly into iPhoto or am I going to have to recreate everything in iPhoto?
If you want to duplicate your Folder Tree in iPhoto:
Start at the bottom of the hierarchy and drag a folder of images to the Album Heading in iPhoto. The pics will be imported and an Album of the same name created.
You can then create the Enclosing Folders in the iPhoto Window (File -> New Folder) and drag the Album to it. Folders can contain other Folders (Nested Folders) and Albums.
However, is your folder system date based? Then this form of organisation is a bit pointless in iPhoto when Smart Albums or the Calendar tool (Click on the wee magnifying glass in the Search Box) mean you can find the photos taken on any day, month or year at a click. With Smart Albums it's easy to find photos from specific range - say, June 3 to August 25, 2009 etc.
If your folder system is theme based - Xmas pics, Birthday pics etc, then you'll find Keywords are much more flexible, and can be used in conjunction with other criteria for making Smart Albums and searches. -
I'm having problems with my internet since I have upgraded. I am afraid to upgrade on my Macbook pro now. I don't want the upgrade to slow down my laptops. Any suggestions?
Wifi issues are one of the common issues being reported by users. There is not much you can do at this point but wait and hope that th 10.8.1 update will address these issues.

Hi, I have an older version of imovie and I need to record a short audition directly from my built in camera in imovie and edit it and then send it because my flipshare camera software isn't responding to mailing at all. Do I need the new imovie version download (update) available or can I simply use what is already on my computer to record edit and send?

Uploading photos from Droid to iPhoto on MacBook Pro
I continue to get this message from iPhoto/my Android 2, though I've uploaded photos successfully several times before. I've tried to change the endings, because TextEdit says that these are read-only volumes. "What's a girl to do?!

My iPhone 4 is unable to upload photos from the camera roll onto facebook. I keep getting the message "unable to upload now, try later"
I suffer same. AppleCare can't seem to solve the problem. I did a restore from backup. Then I did a restore as new phone (virgin). Then I did a restore as a new device and then backed up from a stored backup (which does not replace media). To no avail. Some days it works fine, and on others it's extremely bothersome. The major symptoms:
1. It can take 5+ seconds to delete a photo.
2. It can take 10+ seconds for the camera app to activate. In many instances, the moment is long gone.
3. Switching from camera to video can take 5+ seconds.
4. Saving a photo that's been optimized in iOS 5 can take 30 seconds. Absurd.
Note that Photos and Camera aren't the only affected applications. What'sApp can have the same issues on occasion. Voice Memos don't respond like they should, either. I suspect that there's some behind-the-scenes operations with network feed to which iOS gives its full attention (contrary to the UX getting full attention is is historically the case). This makes the user interface painfully slow at times — and, as most of us here would agree — painfully annoying. This might have to do with changes designed around iCloud, but I'm not even (yet) using it.
The bottom line is that what used to be a quick, pretty good phone camera is now totally lackluster and unreliable for fast shots. Sometimes I think Apple spends too much time worrying about form and not enough about function. -
Importing Only New Photos from iPhone?
Is it possible to import just the new photos from my iPhone to my computer using iPhoto? Every time I connect my iPhone it wants to re-import every photo in my camera roll-- not just the ones that are new since the last import. I don't want to delete the older photos from the iPhone and I'm tired of re-importing the same photos over and over and having to delete the duplicates.

(Message cross-posted to iPhoto 6 forum)I using iPhoto version 7 included with iLife 08 which allows for this, but I delete all photos from my iPhone after being imported by iPhoto - as I usually do with any other digital camera after the import process is complete.
If I want any of the most recent imported photos available on my iPhone for viewing, I add the photos to an existing iPhoto album that is selected to be transferred to my iPhone followed by a sync, or I create a new iPhoto album for the photos, select the new alum under the Photos tab for my iPhone sync preferences followed by a sync. -
MacBook Pro doesnt start. When I start my lap top, it shows the apple and the line uploading but it only goes like to 1/3 and then it goes blank for some seconds, then it turns off by itself and turn on again and happen the same, apple logo, line .. the noise like-fan going on, then turn off and turn on again. Tried starting holding option command P and R key and didnt work either. Starting to think I have lost all my data inside

I have had nothing but problems after downloading Lion and turning on ICloud. Can anyone tell if I can delete photos from Photostream and if not why not! it is infuriating
PhotoStream is purely a conduit for transferring pictures added to or taken on one device onto all the others seamlessly. Photos are held there only for 30 days. There is no way of accessing, viewing or deleting individual photos; you can reset the entire Photostream, erasing everything.

Do you mean you can't stream movies etc. You can only play media over Airplay, you can't share data from other apps. -
I download songs from my dropbox to my macbook pro and then upload them to my updated iTunes. iTunes plays them in entirety, but when i update my iTunes match, my iPhone and iPad skip many of the songs and albums. Why? I have tried everything.
If you have manually manage set, you do not sync.
If you want to sync, select the content desired to sync and sync.
