TS3989 Issues uploading pics from iPhone 4S to PC with Windows Vista

I have added Photo Stream on my PC. Only 65 pictures from my iPhone have been uploaded (most recent ones), I cannot find on any forum any reference to this issue and how to upload all the pictures.
How can I get all pictures, not only latest ones?
Thanks. Brian

Hello, OcnBrez.
I know how important these are to you and will do my best to help.  The first question I have is how are you importing these videos?  Any error messages received when attempting to play these videos?  Video importing does require Quicktime 7.6.2 or later.  Below, I have listed the article on how to import your photos.  I have also included the download link for the latest version of Quicktime for Windows.

QuickTime 7.7.3 for Windows

Hope this helps,

Try restarting Mobile Device Service and uninstall and reinstall Itunes but still giving me the same error.

  • Wow...Iphone does not work with Windows Vista 64 bit

Preamble: Please spare me the bitchy comments about my being an idiot for using a PC. I give Steve plenty of money with 4 purchased Ipods, accesories, and a behemoth Itunes account. PC is fine for me and I like to spread the love.
    Sooo, here it is...
Incredible, and I can't believe the media has not caught onto this yet as this problem must be the biggest complaint to date. Apple support has confirmed that they are now (after getting thousands of calls this weekend) realizing that even they were caught off guard in the iphone not being compatible with Vista 64bit. As the majority (from what I have seen - with the exception of cheaper line Dells)of PC's shipping over the past few months have the 64 bit version installed this may be a huge blunder on Apple's part. I purchased two phones and spent the weekend uninstalling and reinstalling itunes (per the error message and the instructions of support) before it was realized by Sunday that it doesn't work. Updates? The one person at apple support told me it could be weeks. Back to the store for a return and an argument over the 10% restocking fee.

Actually OS X has a larger population of users (over
Vista but not WinXP) if you look at
    licensed/registered accounts. Various browser sites
that log OS type hits would also bare out this
information. Not many folks have adopted Vista over
WinXP, and even fewer have installed 64bit version of
Vista due to lack of driver support and compatibility
    with existing Windows based applications/games.
Having said that, get a Mac and install Boot Camp to
run WinXP or Vista and also get fully integrated
    iPhone support with your Mac.
Look up the actual sales numbers for Vista, think
you'll be surprised -- your actually the minority not
    the majority.
Vista sales are well below expectation -- Microsoft's
stock is taking a beating while Apple's stock is
taking off. But to solve your issues, I suggest you
run the Windows version of iPhone software in 32bit
compatibility mode -- this should solve it.
    Rob.
To say that there are more OS X users than Vista is false. That's what you believe and want everyone else to believe.
I agree it has problems but like the iPhone they will be addressed.

  • Problem when connecting my iPhone to a PC with Windows Vista OS

I use a Windows Vista OS. When connecting my iPhone, in the Devices section, it shows with an exclamation mark ("!"). Further information establishes the driver cannot be loaded. Anyway, I can use it for tethering but cannot access, for instance, to the pictures.
This has only recently starting to happen. Before, everything worked fine.
I would be most grateful for any help I can ge
    Kind regards.

Are you using Windows XP or Windows Vista?
Did you remove iTunes and the other Apple software also, and then reinstall iTunes.

  • ICloud Photo Library won't upload pics from iPhone

    Hi all,
So I think it might have been with the 8.3 update, but for some reason any new pics taken on my iPhone will not upload to my iCloud Photo Library. I've tried turning off/on iCloud Photo Library, syncing with my computer, etc. but nothing has helped. Anyone else struggling with this/have a solution getting your pics to sync between devices? Thanks!

I have the same issue. These are my findings so far:

I will be updating that post as I discover more.

  • Issues uploading pictures from iPhone to iPhoto

I am currently trying to upload pictures i recently took on my phone to iphoto. I have about 1000 pictures on my phone but when i try to import on iphoto only about 400 show up. Similarly, when i am trying to post pictures from my phone to apps such as Instagram my "all photos" tab only shows the same 400 pictures. These two issues are clearly related.
    Thanks,
    Adam

Remember only those taken in the last 30 days will show up in iPhoto under the My Photo Stream.  Do you have your iPhoto iCloud preferences set to import the My Photo Stream photos into the library?
If so then you should have an Event for each month titled like this:

When I connect iPhone 4S to MBP it fails to open iPhoto and device does not show up anywhere so that I can import pictures from the iPhone.

Is iPhoto set to open when a device is attached?

  • Went from Mountain Lion to Yosemite on 2009 MacBook Pro.  Safari now randomly shuts down; Word doesn't work properly; iPhoto will not upload pics from iPhone; EVERYTHING is horribly slow.  How to I go back to Mountain Lion?

Is there a way to go back to Mountain Lion after updating to Yosemite?  Yosemite has caused nothing but problems in multiple programs.  Mountain Lion ran fine.  Not sure why I even updated.  I am NOT a computer guru so instructions I have read for the many Yosemite fixes blow my mind.  Should I be taking my MacBook Pro to the Genius Bar at the nearest Apple Store (2 hours away)?  I have been a Mac user and lover for many years and am SO frustrated and disappointed in all of it right now.  Please advise on what a non-tech frustrated Mac user can do.

Technically, you can downgrade if you have the following:
Your computer must be elligible to run Mountain Lion. If your computer came with Mavericks or Yosemite out of the box, you can forget it.
You need an already existing Mountain Lion installer file. If you still have that somewhere, for example in your Applications folder, or anywhere else, it's usable- note that it needs to be originally downloaded with your own Apple ID and password. If you made a Mountain Lion USB installer or DVD back then that would work too. If your Time Machine back-ups go back to the days of Mountain Lion or Lion you could check your Applications folder from inside Time Machine and restore it to your computer.
To not have data loss you need a Time Machine back-up that goes back to when you were still running Mountain Lion. Please note that this will revert your data to exactly the date that you choose. If you installed Mavericks 2 months ago, you will loose 2 months worth of data.

Just uploaded apps from iphone to Mac pro but i can't open the apps - Why?

    Hi richard915,
    Welcome to the Support Communities!
Do you mean that you transferred your purchases from the iPhone to your Mac pro?  You can also set your Mac's iTunes preferences to automatically download purchases made to it.  You'd have to check the specifics for the app that you are having an issue with, but some apps that are designed for the iPhone won't work on your Mac. Developers usually create two versions of their software.

  • Why can't I delete a pic from iPhone album in ios8?

Why can't I delete a pic from iPhone album in ios8?

Now that you mention it, my parents don't need to see my playlists, either.  Hadn't thought of that.
I accidently stumbled on an "ad-hoc" workaround that helped me.   The downside is that it only works with smart playlists so it may or may not work for you.  But here it is anyway:
Smart playlists will not be uploaded to the cloud if they refeence another playlist on the cloud.  So I created a "catch-all" smart playlist and added a reference to that in all the smart playlists I don't want to share.
I also noticed that playlists with more than just music are not uploaded.  You could add a short video or something to the playlists that are only for the iMac.  This obviously won't work if your daughter needs them on her iDevice.
I know these aren't good solutions, but I hope they help someone.
    Cheers,
