TS3991 Downloading an app on a second apple device using the same apple id

I have two apple devices. When I log into my second device with my same Apple ID, apps that have been previously downloaded appear with a cloud icon. When I click on this icon, it does not download my app on my second device. Why is this occurring?

Something, but usually three reasons.
1. there is something wrong with your account - easiest way to sign out of itunes account and sign back in and you will be prompted for whatever was wrong.
2. Not enought space on the phone
3. Restrictions are enabled for some type of contenct.

You can set up different iCloud accounts on each device using different Apple IDs (to keep your mail, calendars, contacts, etc. separated), and still share the same iTunes account (in Settings>Store on your device). There is no requirement that you use the same Apple ID for purchases and for iCloud.

In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")

Go to Settings>Messages>Send and Receive on all but one device and add a unique email address on each device and delete the commone Apple ID email device
If there is also an iPhone with iOS 6 associated with the Apple ID, uncheck the phone number on all but the phone.

The only way I have seen is to have each device use a if fervent email account, if they all are on the same email the FaceTime connection is either to a phone number or to an email address. If they ar all on the same email, it is up to the user to decide which to use.

Yes, you can, but the two devices can't have the same e mail address associated with both. Each, device needs its own unique e mail ADR. In your case, the iPod can call your iPhone if you use the phone number, but the iPhone can not call your iPod because it must use the e mail address, and if the email address is the same on both, the iPhone will think it's calling itself, so the call will not go through.

if you do use the same appleID turn off imessage and be prepared that you will never be able

If I download Mountain Lion on my MBP , can I use the same installer file on a different computer and continue the installation without Internet connectivity?

I have just downloaded Mountain lion on my Macbook Pro(haven't installed it yet) . My question is, can I copy the same downloaded Mountain Lion from the Applications on to an external hard drive and use the same on a different computer? I am having problems with internet connectivity right now, it would be amazing if it can be installed on the iMac without internet connection.
So is that doable?
