TS3991 Numbers doesn't store to iTunes or the cloud

I created a spreadsheet on my iPhone 5, but do not see it on my iPad 3. The settings in the cloud indicate I have numbers, pages, and keynote enabled and should be saved to the cloud. I have sufficient storage space, so I'm now looking for a reason or solution to fix this issue.

I didn't realize I needed to be in wi-fi mode on both devices for them to update/sync. All is good now.

    Welcome to the Apple community.
iTunes and iCloud and different accounts, you will need to delete both accounts from your device before adding the new details in their place.
For iCloud go to settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit the delete button. You can then sign back in using your correct details. For iTunes go to settings >store, tap your account ID and then sign out, you can then sign back in using your correct Apple ID.

  • After updating to 6.0 iPhone doesn't show in iTunes for the wireless sync

I have the iPhone 4s, after updating to 6.0 it doesn't show in iTunes for the wireless sync. My iPad which is first gen. still shows up. If I plugin with usb it shows up but as soon as I unplug it disappears.
When I click on the sync wireless on the iPhone , it trys to sync but nothing.

it's okay, it is not silly. but yes it was on but i went ahead and turned it, (the phone) off rebooted and turned it back on and rebooted phone again to see if it helps it any.... but to no it did not change, it still doesn't show up. as well as when i look in on wifi and see choose network mine is not populated until after a couple seconds. so it has something to do with not being able to hold on to a wifi signal when going to sleep or putting phone to sleep via power button. i do not see the wifi signal meter until a couple seconds after i wake it up from sleep. and now neither my ipad or iphone show up in itunes. so there is issues i guess with something. i have tried everything an dam too frustrated to do anything more.

  • "show itunes in the cloud purchases" doesn't work

"show itunes in the cloud purchases" doesn't work any more. I changed my apple id recently. I deauthorized and authorized my computer, loggin out and in. Can't see anything not on my hard disk, as previously. I restored my system, but the cloud purchases came back ok previously. The HD episodes are not on C: - they are all there. I reimported the folder.

I think I restored a very old system and must install a newer itunes. Not sure how to erase this.

  • HT201272 Cannot locate itunes preferences to to follow the steps. 2.Make sure that you have "Show iTunes in the Cloud Purchases" enabled in your iTunes preferences by going to iTunes Preferences under the Store tab.

Can you assist me with downloading my past purchases on my new computer?

just as a follow-up i found a thread indicating mismatched AppleIDs could be a problem, so I changed the iCloud id to match, and that did allow me to get Show iTunes in the Cloud Purchases and get the SD version.
Unfortunately, this hasn't solved the ultimate problem of getting the movie to sync to and play on a 1st gen Apple TV.

  • Does iTunes in the cloud use up my icloud space?

with the new itunes in the cloud, will my storage space be used to store the songs?

iTunes in the cloud doen't use your storage space.  It is a service that allows you to redownload previously purchased music and certain other media from the iTunes store (see http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519).  However, you will have to download the music to your device in order to play it.
There is a separate subscription service called iTunes Match that will allow you to access your iTunes library from iCloud.  It has its own storage space and doesn't use your iCloud storage plan.  (See http://www.apple.com/itunes/itunes-match/).

  • Turning on Match hides my iTunes in the Cloud purchases

This is an odd one I've not seen anyone mention yet.
I have enabled iTunes to show purchases in the Cloud so it displays my purchases in iTunes even if I haven't downloaded them.
But when I turn on iTunes Match, not only does it just sit there "waiting" like lots of people are reporting, in my iTunes it also seems to hide my iTunes in The Cloud purchases too. My films and TV shows are showing but my music doesn't. Files on my computer are showing. I've double checked the preferences and it's definitely set to show purchases in the cloud so I don't know what's wrong. Anyone else seeing this?

I am having this same problem. Say you have 100 songs that you've purchased over time from iTunes but only 25 of them are currently downloaded. You're library should then still show all 100 songs, but 75 of them should have the download from cloud symbol next to them. You can even stream them and not download them, but they are there in the library.
Now, when you turn on iTunes Match, all 75 of the non-downloaded tracks disappear. The 25 that you have on your computer are still there and are synced to the cloud for matching. This includes any additional tracks that may not have come from the store.
Funny thing is, if you tun Match off again, all the iTunes in the cloud purchases return and Match goes away.
Keep in mind that iTunes Purchases in the Cloud and iTunes Match are two different things. Match only catalogs your library and makes sure it is all online, but for some reason when it is enabled, all your non-downloaded iTunes content disappears.
    YOU ARE NOT ALONE MIGGYLUV.

  • ITunes in the Cloud missing in iOS5?

Hi all, I have downloaded and installed the iOS5 beta to my iPhone 4. One thing I noticed is that iTunes in the Cloud doesn't seem to be there. Was this only in 4.3 or is there something I have to do in iTunes to activate it?
Also, Is there a beta of the iTunes match service?
    Thanks,
    Barry

If you are running iOS 4.3 or above, just go to Settings, Scroll down to Store. Once in Store you should see three or four new options: Music, Apps, Books, and Cellular. By Default all are Off, Turn these On, then go to iTunes ( on your iPhone of course ) and you'll see a new Tab on the bottom right called Purchases. Once inside, you'll see EVERYTHING you have purchased using your Apple ID ( even if the song, App, Book isn't installed on your iPhone). If you see an iCloud ICON with a down arrow in it,  to the right of the title, that item can be Downloaded to your current iOS device AND will also be Downloaded to all your other iOS devices and computer at the same time.
It's that simple. Do the same thing in the iBook Store and App Store to update everything there too.
As of last nights update to iTunes you can now do this all via your computer too. Only issue is that if there are multiple User Accts on the computer, and you update all YOUR Music, Apps, and Books, any other User Accts on that computer will NOT be able to update THEIR stuff for NINTY DAYS.
Thought you'd all like to know... YOU GOTTA LOVE THAT iCloud !!

  • Problem with iTunes in the cloud

    Hi,
I can't download previously bought music in iTunes. There's only possibility to redownload apps and books.
Few days ago I could do this, now the option is gone. I can't turn it on in iTunes on my computer.
On iPhone-->Settings--->Store--->Automatic downloads--> I can choose only Apps and books, no music option to turn on.
And there's no icon Purchased in iTunes on iPhone.
iTunes in the cloud is working in my country with music, I was using it.
    Can anyone help? Thanks.

It could be a temorary glitch. We had something similar in the UK week or two ago. Wait it out or Contact Support.

  • Can I trust iTunes in the Cloud to retain past purchases?

I've been using iTunes for several years now to download and watch television episodes, since long before the advent of iTunes in the Cloud, with its ability to re-download previously purchased music, television, and (most recently) movies. Prior to the advent of this service the iTunes user was solely responsible for retaining backups of purchases, although an additional download might be granted in case of catastrophe.
With this in mind, and as my collection quickly expanded beyond the threshold where I could reasonably back it up to optical media, I purchased a two-terabyte Network Attached Storage drive, configured in a RAID array for added redundancy. Unfortunately, my iTunes media library is now approaching one terabyte in size by itself, and along with the many other things that I store on the drive is beginning to approach the drive's capacity.
So, the iTunes in the Cloud thing sounds awesome, but I'd like to know more about the troubling caveat that 'previous purchases may be unavailable if they are no longer on the iTunes Store' before I jettison the bulk of my local media collection. I'm aware of, and can deal with, the reality that contractual obligations and other things may force the withdrawal of legacy iOS applications (Glyder 1/2, the Fighting Fantasy series, Zumocast), but am less able to suffer the unexpected loss of television series content that may represent hundreds of dollars of purchases.
Other media outlets like HBO Go and Netflix Instant Watch note if and when certain content may become unavailable in the future. Does iTunes have anything similar, or am I essentially flying blind if I choose to delete my media?

I would not delete the media unless you don't want it.
Even subtle changes to content listings can render thinsg unavailable.
I have several Music Videos I have never been able to upgrade to itunes Plus - they still seem to be in the store with identical running times, but itunes support claim they are somehow different and need to be purchased again - no chance.
I bought nearly 2 seasons of a Disney kids show - those sesons are no longer in the store as they've split each season into volumes (season 1 = volumes 1 and 2, season 2 = volumes 3 and 4).
For the sake of the cost of external storage these days I think it's well worth the hassle of keeping backups.
You could argue however that if 95% of stuff remains redownloadable is the cost of the 5% offset by the hassle/cost of keeping backups even if it 'changed' and had to be repurchased.
The trouble is we just don't know if it'll be 99%/1%, 95%/5%, 50%/50% in the future even if it looks favourable now. Movies frequently seem to flip from rental only to purchase only here in UK, not sure about elsewhere.

  • How do I recover a device that was accidentally removed from my iTunes in the Cloud account?

While removing old devices from my iTunes in the Cloud account, I accidently removed my current iPhone 5s from the list.  I have saved closed out of the "manage account" window yet but don't see how to go back and undo this mistake.  Is there a way to reverse this before closing out of this or do I have to re-install device?

Try going to Settings>iTunes & App Store and enabling Automatic Downloads while signed into the Apple ID you were managing.  (If it's enabled, turn it off, then back on.)  That should add the device to iTunes in the Cloud for the ID.

  • ITunes in the Cloud option no longer available in iTunes 12

I upgraded to Yosemite about a week ago, and I am now running iTunes 12.0.1.26.  I use my MacBook Air to stream iTunes movie and TV show purchases to my TV, and I like having the option of streaming content directly from the cloud rather than downloading it to my computer's hard drive.  Normally, after every iTunes upgrade since the introduction of "iTunes in the Cloud," I have to go to the iTunes preferences menu to enable the "iTunes in the Cloud" setting to see my purchases that are available to stream. (I don't know why Apple doesn't enable this by default. Improvement opportunity!)  However, in iTunes 12, this setting is not available.  Has the "iTunes in the Cloud" setting been moved somewhere else?  I sure hope this feature hasn't been abandoned.
I have signed out of iTunes, deauthorized my computer, turned off iTunes match, and genius, then signed back into everything, but that hasn't helped.
Any guidance would be much appreciated.
    I have a 13" mid-2011 MacBook Air with a Core i7 and 4GB of RAM running OS 10.10.

Do you see anything at all on the purchased page, headings links, tools etc.

  • Using iTunes in the Cloud

I was wondering if I can use iTunes in the Cloud just for offsite storage of my music? I want to keep the files on all of my devices and only use iCloud to store the originals. Can this be done? Thanks.
    Steve H

    Hi,
No. Itunes in the cloud is not a back up service. This stores your iTunes purchase, not the rest of your music. iTunes Match is a different product, again it is not per se a back up service.
    Read this https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-4112,.
What match does is scans your library and matches your music with a version that is available in the iTunes Store. If it is not matched and is eligible, it will be uploaded. You will now have access to those tracks on other devices when you are signed into match.
Nothing happens physically to the tracks on your computer unless you opt to upgrade or delete them. Nothing beats a proper back up on an external HD

  • HT1711 What is music in the "iTunes in the Cloud program?"

I'm considering a subscription to iTunes in the Cloud.
Bottom line is what does Apple mean by the word "music" in the iTunes in the Cloud feature.  Does the plan also include things such as audiobooks and podcast, in addition to your actual tunes?

iTunes in the Cloud has no subscription. That's for accessing content you've purchased from the iTunes Store, and depending on your country includes most content, though not audibooks for which Apple has never been able to negotiate redownload rights. Do you mean iTunes Match? If so, then it means just what it says, music tracks. It does not include podcasts nor audiobooks.

  • Itunes in the cloud:  Gone.

ICloud on atv2 and ipad remote has suddenly stopped working. I noticed it only after upgrading my modem to vdsl. (Fritzbox) I've tried reentering all my itunes/icloud info.
    Help?

Both the atv2 music button and the iPad app "Remote" say "there are no songs in this library" and "you can purchase songs on itunes". I've got literally thousands of songs in the cloud, though.
If I use sharing with the computer libraries, that works.
I can access the iTunes Store on all my devices.  I can download songs on all devices, except atv2.
Photos stream just fine on the atv2.
I have two IDs, and I've logged out and back into both.
This loss of access by atv is recent.
Recent changes in my wifi setup: a LaCie cloudbox, a fritzbox vdsl modem. But I think itunes in the clouds worked after I'd installed those new elements. It was only a few days after that problems arose.  I think.
    Home sharing is on.
    Software is 5.2.1
I hope this is the right information.
    Oh.  I'm in Switzerland.
