You make an appointment at the genius bar of your local Apple Store and get it serviced/replaced. You broke it. If you can't even force a reboot, there's nothing much more you can do.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- Try another cable
- Try on another computer

Why is there no call decline option on the lock screen for an incoming call in IOS7??

Yeah... One workaround is double-click the lock button. But still it's stupid. The "Decline" is available only when screen in 'unlocked'. They think, you only need the to decline only when you are busy doing something on the iPhone, else need not to decline the call i.e. when your screen is locked.
WTH, is my phone the only thing in the world, I could be busy with to decline??

So after updating my ipod touch 3rd gen to 4.3.1 i noticed a lag everytime i turn it back on. it stays on the lock screen for minutes sometimes hours. the screen is usually unresponsive the only things usually changing are the time and battery percentage.

so aafter upsating my touch to 4.3.1 i have noticed everytime i restart the ipod there is a huge lag at the lock screen. the screen only updates itself every three to five minutes only updating the time and battery status. i cannot do anything, usually it will stay like this for minutes sometimes hours. i have tried restoring it and thought updating will fix the problem but it hasn't yet. i currently have ios 4.3.3. recently i had a friend look into the ipod and he told me on a folder called damaged files he found this, 37c3ad com.apple.autowake.plist. how can i fix this?

How to lock commandlistener for certain time (to ignore buttons whie next )

I have a following (perhaps trivial) problem: I have a couple of methods which creates next screens in my app (meth1()...meth2()..meth3()). I have an "next" button, which swiches me between screens. Between switching to next screen I'm doing some gprs connection (in commandAction(Command c,Displayable c )) whitch take some time. Now, when user pushes my "ok" button couple of times, the commandlisteners works for all of them and when the gprs conn ends it puts mi two screens away. How can I lock input until next 'screen'(method) is invoked?Here's my sample code:

Use a boolean variable as a flag which will be true when the connection is taking place. and in the commandAction method if the flag is true just say return. else the event will be processed.

Is there a way to expand the text area of the login/lock screen for the warning message?

I put our company's standard warning message in the Security & Privacy system preference ("Show a message when the screen is locked.") and it overflowed the allotted text area for the warning message text on the login screen and lock screens. It seems that the area allows about 250 character messages and I need to provide about 500 characters. Is there any way to expand the text area allotted for this purpose?

How to add screen for IEQM0003

Hi All,
I am working for T code IE02 in PM module.
I have requirement that when user saves the Equipment, a Pop-Up screen should come.
This will contain 2 Radio-buttons and one Ok button.
After Selection any Radio Button and Pressing OK, a Workflow will be triggered.
Please give me step by step procedure to do above.
There is User Exit Enhancement IEQM0003. Pls tell me how to add screen to it.

1. Create custom screen in function group XEQM... which is the same function group for the Exit EXIT_SAPMIEQ0_001.
2. Do call screen to view that custom screen in user exit EXIT_SAPMIEQ0_001.
3. Trigger the workflow event as per your requirement. For this write the code in PAI of Custom Screen.

Run Keychain Access.app and, in the keychain menu, top left on your screen, under Preferences, click "Show status in menu bar"
When you do this, a lock will appear as the leftmost item in the menu bar on the right side of your screen.
Now, when you wish to lock the screen, simply click the lock icon and select "Lock Screen"

My phone won't show notifications on my home screen or lock screen for text messages

My phone won't show notifications for text messages on my lock screen or my home screen, even thought both are turned on under the settings. Once I go into the messaging app, they will show up as new but not anywhere else. I get notifications for everything else except text messages.

Messages should work with the email address that you use for your Apple ID. You have to be signed into that email address in order for any other email address that you have added to work.
You should add your iPhone number to your Apple ID on the iPad, and then select that as the contact address at which you can be reached and all of the messages between the phone and the iPad will sync again.

Can I change my call picture to something different then the lock screen for numbers that don't have a photo assigned?

I have Picture A set as my lock screen picture and certain people in my contacts have a picture assigned to them. However, I would like to assign Picture B to all other callers as well as have numbers not in my contact list come up as Picture B.
Is there a way to do this other than just assigning Picture B to ALL other contacts? Because that still wouldn't work for numbers that call me/I call that are in my my contact list.

It is very difficult to offer troubleshooting suggestions when the "os version" you are using is unknown as each os has their own troubleshooting solutions.

Immediate lock screen for KIN two?

Does anyone know of a shortcut key that will allow me to lock my screen immediately? The only setting options are 1 min, 5 mins, etc. That one-minute wait from the time I'm finished texting until the phone locks and I can toss it down into my purse seems like an eternity! Sorry for all the replies, I can't find a way to edit my previous posts.
Anyway, just found out that if you don't like having to enter a pin every time you want to unlock the phone, you can do this:
- Go to Settings and choose Screen Lock.
- Choose Pin & Security and turn Pin Lock on (default pin is the last four digits of your cell phone number - you can change it if you want once you enter the Pin Lock menu).
- Turn Message Display off (will only show "# New Messages" on the lock screen).
- Turn Pin Lock back off.
- Exit out to main screen.
The next time you get a SMS or MMS message and your phone is in lock mode, you will only see the bubble with "# New Message(s)" on the lock screen. Once you unlock the phone you will then be able to go to the full message.
If you like the security of having to enter you pin every time you want to unlock the phone, just leave Pin Lock on.
